I have an old macpro in my closet(big old one) if I use a riser to put the gpu outside the case (no room wonky airflow stuff inside) can I hook it up to a different power supply ? The integrated one would be too hard to fool with or remove the way it's wired...

If you send me your BIOS ill mod the memory straps on it for you. All Tahiti should be dual bios. You got Hynix memory on that?  190h/s is very slow, are you using version 11.1 Claymore ZEC Miner?

I get a bit tired of the constant change as I have a 42 year timespan of computers .   Quite a bit of the changes end up being planned obsoleteness.

But builders need to make money and change will do that for them.

I think ETH is more like 15MH, however these cards are generally best for ZEC mining. If you mod the memory strap you might get 280-290 or so.

I didn't hijack it, just posted in it as a reference to the seller and his GPU for sale.
I sure did not air any laundry in public and I presume English is not your primary language considering you seem to be incorrectly using

Either way, this will sell I'm sure and I doubt it will be you. The GPU earns more than enough to be worth it with a better ROI than most miners on the market.

I already bought a bunch of stuff off him , even the last 7970 a few weeks ago (which is happily mining away on free power) and didn't need to resort to acting like a douche and offering an 'offensive' price such as you. If you'd have offered a realistic price, even below his price (which is cheaper than ebay prices even) you'd have looked like a serious person interested in dealing with someone, but instead you chose to sound like a little punk..  Shows who you are.

Thats true. I'd take it at 60$ shipped atm (2-3 months ROI) but it's probably not that of an attractive offer since i'm in Canada. And i imagine someone in the US will take it at 75$ shipped.

its all good man , i have thick skin im not easily offended, it just comes down to 2 ppl trying to get the best price they can. im just one of those ppl who doesnt have to buy at this second and can hold out for a deal which sometimes makes it hard to deal with me 


i might still grab it , im going to watch afew more auctions on ebay first , i paid 100$ for my 280x that does 225 so just hard to pay the same for something that does less

I try to make it fun.  I look at it this way.  I have 43 gpus mining + the 8 gpu panda miner that is 51 gpu's  along with the idle hd7970

at 99 right now and 98 tonight it is a good deal.  Gets interest from people.  My 51 active gpus earn say 50 bucks a day.  So I can say  they paid this one off already.  If I were to sell it for 20 dollars including the shipping I would make a 2 to 4 dollar profit.

If it sold for 98 I would make a 80 to 82 dollar profit.

We all know that 99 or 98 including shipping is decent price  20 would be stupid cheap.

So anyone can pay attention to thread  and get action by waiting for a drop of a buck.

Somewhere some time  some one will grab it maybe 99 maybe 98 maybe wait a week and 92.

Buying anything from phil, I would not be worried of anything.

The card is older as described, but works just fine and there are no issues with it.

Not much mining , but it has mined.  It sat idle over 2 years I found it along with one I sold 2 weeks ago.  Right here on this site.
