I can't figure out how to paste a line in hex editor, i select the field that i want to change, but i cannot paste into it.
I've started changing  number by number but i have to do this like 14 times for like 50 digits number, and i just couldnt do it.

i also would like to try the gigabyte bios with elpida memory, see if it might work on my saphire with elpida memory, but all the download links are down.

edit:

I worked it out, if anyone needs help with editing a bios with hex editor, i can do it for you.

Is there a new link for the repo,  doesn't work when I try to download a bios it gives me. 404 error!

thanks
Joe
Dont use another bioses, just modified your own. If you have Tahiti, there was a link in first post, to overclock.net site. Download there Tahiti-HynixMemoryTimingsPatch.zip and patch timings from you own bios.

I'm thrown for a loop here guys, can someone point out "Where" I'm being an idiot (I know I'm being one lol)

I have a R280X that "loooks" like this except the XFX is on the far left of the front instead of being in the middle. Same color everything though.

On the back sticker, and when recognized by my computer it says "R280X" however the sticker on the back said "2GB" not 3GB" which is all I've seen listed I googled for R280X 2GB and had no luck finding the one I have ..

Anyways, when I'm hashing I'm getting 90-95 sol/second on ZCash using NH Legacy Miner .... I read another article I thought I bookmarked but I found this here saying they are getting 300 sol/s out of their card(s) by flashing them ..

Do I have a model this doesn't work with ? Since it seems most of the links are talking about 3GB R280X and I appear to have a 2GB R280X

If I could actually triple my hash rate I'd be as happy as a pig rolling around in s%#t ...

I just thought I'd ask before I go about and possibly brick my card. In case the model I have does not work ... Still confused about the 2GB vs 3 GB deal. If it wasnt for that I would already be figuring out which package applied to my card and flashing it. First read this a few days ago and checked on and off the last few days looking for more info about my 2 GB model but don't seem to be able to find it. It really looks like the R7770 but it's coming upp as R280X on my miner and on the sticker on the back of the card.

EDITED : JUST LOOKED, SAYS R7 200  not 280X on my miner/tweak software

TY for the link! I've read of that kind of adapter, so that is a common issue with this cards? So far none of my nvidia cards had such behaviour...

Yes, a well known issue.  These are digital adapters that should be more valuable in the future.  The older cards can have analog adaptors for the DVI-I ports, but newer cards don't have them, they have DVI-D ports.  So using the HDMI port, which they all have, makes more sense.
I would be careful with these adapters I bought this exact one and all was good for a few weeks than the card which was using this adapter on burnt out

anyway crazy i will never buy such adapter for that price
in my computer chop here  they sell  22'' used monitor for only 10$ more lol, and the monitor are actually still very good

Anyone use PowerColor TurboDuo R9 285 2GB GDDR5 OC?  Or Just R9 285 any brand.
Can you share your hashrate for zcash and monero mining.
Thanks
I had R9 380, it's like 285. For XMR I've got 560H/s in stock and 650H/s with Nerdralph bios.

Thank you for clarifying the issue.
Yeah, the HDMI seems to be more future-proof. I've seen ppl soldering some resistors into the D-sub adapter )
