is somewhere source code available for own ckpool node and hosting?

Yes : https://bitbucket.org/ckolivas/ckpool-solo/src/solobtc/

Pool code:
The pool code actually run directly on the pool is all available under GPLV3 and can be used for setting up local solo mining.
Local solo mining is not recommended unless you have a high bandwidth low latency connection and optimised bitcoin daemon, however it is highly recommended as a final backup for any miner.

The pool source did I find as well, what about the dashboard mentioned in this thread?

Private.

2 things:
1) Yes you can calculate luck correctly. I do on my pool. Just you can't on ckpool because he doesn't store the necessary information to do it.
2) Luck is ONLY a measurement of historical values, by definition, you cannot predict it.

Yes, Kano is right, but I have a few more relevant variables.
However luck is made, it is not granted.

Hi VK,

I've noticed that the hash rate stats chart has stopped working today.

Presently its not showing anything at all on the individual stats pages.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Update edit: -

Not to worry, I think it was just coincidental that the stats got reset from someone finding a block. It looks like its started gathering data again now.

Sorry for delay, i had many things to do.
There was an issue on my server side, that was fixed right in time when users asked what happened to their stats in the Telegram group.

be constructive or S.T.F.U
Using diff/netdiff in general gives a better luck result than it actually is - i.e. it fakes making mining look luckier.

That's true when the difficulty is going up, and it's the exact opposite when the difficulty goes down, I know this should be very easy to understand but I had a very hard time explaining that to someone some time ago, I don't know if it was lack of comprehensive skills from their side, or I just suck at explaining things (probably the latter is true).

It's as simple as understanding that the work done on epochs with lower network difficulty has a higher effective value, doing 30T work when the diff is 30T is not the same as doing 30T work when the diff is 60T, your luck in the first epoch is a lot worse, using 60T for the entire calculation will make your stats look better.

Anyway, I don't think pools like Ckpool do that on purpose, it's probably just the effort of having to store more data, also given that pool luck is just history it's somehow irrelevant unless the stats are bad enough to make you think that pool software/hardware is bad and is losing blocks, aside from that -- it seems like nobody cares.

VKBIT,
Would you be able to add "Diff" (Luck) to the individual miner screen/page?
Even though the main pool may be at 156%, individually we are all at something higher or lower because no two miners are working the same block- (each miner is working a custom block because it has their own unique BTC payout address in it).
Just a Thought... you have "Diff" (Pool Luck) on the main page.
Thanks -- great pages BTW

Please be aware that on ckpool solo you cannot calculate luck.
As I've pointed out a few times (e.g. here:)
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.64034423

It is not (as I've pointed out before) diff/netdiff, it's the sum of diff/netdiff per diffchange.
Using diff/netdiff in general gives a better luck result than it actually is - i.e. it fakes making mining look luckier.

They are already aware, you cannot predict or calculate, you make your own luck in life, in anything, otherwise we will be all millionaires.
Is just for fun as all blocks pops out on ckpool Wink Kano, don't bother.

Very cool. I like being able to see the odds per time period that you will hit a block. That goes a long way to give people a realistic expectation about their mining operation. Great work. I much prefer this as opposed to just the text. A nice addition to the pool, which I think will become more popular with the sudden interest in lottery mining.

Hi VK

I have a feature request on the league tables and wonder if you might consider adding it onto CK pool

With a larger number of high hash rate users joining the system, the hash and diff league tables are filled with only those in the many TH/s & PH/s range.

I wonder if it is possible for you to add a range setting to these tables, so for example

0-1Th/s, 1-20Th/s, 20-100Th/s and >100Th/s

Similarly with the top difficulty stats

0-10B, 10B-100B, >100B

Anyway, just an idea.

Thanks

G.

Sorry for delay,
That can be done but i will keep the essential. Is already top job if you ask me about the traffic. Wink).

No problem VK,

Thanks for considering it.

The reason I asked is it's nice to compare to similar performance miners, with so many in the mid PH range its not possible to see whatelse is going on.

Thanks

G.

Don't take this personally, however, just a warning for those who plan on searching for their own address, if you want to stay anonymous use a VPN or anything to hide your IP, the website operator can link your BTC address to your IP address.

Anyway, that's a very nice-looking GUI, I used it, and I like it, thanks for making it.

While it is worth pointing this out to people who don't realise it,
it is somewhat pointless when you mine to that pool anyway.

When mining to ckpool, you transmit your bitcoin address, clear text, across the internet, from your miner's IP to that pool, over 25000 times a day.
The pool also sends your bitcoin address to you about 3000 times a day.
The pool owner likes to say it's "pseudo-anonymous" but clearly that's crap Cheesy

Kano, as I mentioned before, please refrain from engaging in my threads. I am not interested in any debate or contradiction. Just as I wouldn't come to your space or to your house to tell you how the furniture is arranged.
I ask that you keep your opinions to yourself.

P.S. I don't know why you have so much rage, maybe too much red meat (just saying).
lol - someone else who dislikes the truth.

There's no rage in my post - just simple facts.
