I tried so many times to contact this guy through twitter but he didn't respond. I searched for other contact but not found. I waited for many days but still I not recieved any reply. why I hurt project as I myself using Bitget exchange for small trading. I didn't even used scam words in the heading. I shared whole story with source link so that big investors should research before getting-in in this exchange.


Thanks Zee27 for sharing such an useful update. I read all and it's quite interesting that now he is apologizing after creating a long term fud. I am now locking this thread and adding  " solved " in heading .

Thanks for sharing this and now everything cleared that the problem was not from Bitget but with Evenluthra understanding. He accused Bitget everywhere even in telegraph. I think Bitget make some settlement with this guyz because he was giving strictly warning and this accusation was trended everywhere.

 Now it's time to lock the Thread because the above twitter statement of guys prove that problem already solved so I think no more discussion needed. The only problem here is that Bitget team should be active to answer all issues so that all users know real picture of the story .

The mastermind behind the accusations against Bitget has come out publicly to apologize for tarnishing the image of the exchange. In his words....

The lesson learnt here is to always check things out for yourself and not rely on what others say in the crypto space because it could be mere fud.

But have they replied to OP's warning about their site? If they are running a campaign here, they also need to ensure that they will respond to any feedback, especially negative ones, about them to maintain their reputation. Why would they waste money if they can't be active here? At the very least, they should have a representative to address issues like this.

Was the purpose of the OP to stop the Signature Campaign???

Also, i do not think that the campaign was stopped because of his scam accusation. Bitget wants to focus on other things, and they will come back to the campaign sometime later. That was told when the campaign was put on hold.

And I believe this scam accusation hasn't had any effect on their business too as they are getting 10M monthly traffic as shown by the statics sites like Similar Web.

Mentioning Bitget doesn't mean. I mention the exchanges I use. I cant post my whole story here but i switch to exchanges that suits me. And i recommend them. Btw, I used to mention Binance and MEXC sometimes ago. Why didn't you notice me then?

Look, after six days the @OP didn't comeback to reply even though he's active everyday and keep making post in other sections. Seems like he only want to hurt this project and don't want to give clarification whether he want to continue to accuse this project or admit he was wrong.

That is true though, but sometimes it's very hard to determine the exchange that could failed tomorrow or likely to scam people sometimes we need to be very mindful with the way we transact with them, you just said it all so I don't think there is anymore to deliberate on this issues anymore. Nevertheless, we all have to apply cautiousness while dealing with any exchange because scam is unavoidable.

How long are you going to examine them before you transact there then? Bitget has a Trust score of 9 and I believe that isn't a bad rating. You mentioned FTX and what became of it, you also need to know that same thing can also happen to even "our beloved All Mighty" Binance tomorrow. Listen, sometimes these things happen unintentionally and not that the owners planned to scam from the beginning. I've been with projects that have fantastic roadmaps and were following through until something unplanned happened that uttered everything and it ended up killing those projects. This is why I sometimes cut projects some slacks.

By the way OP, I suggest removing the first quoted review from trust pilot in your post because I'm pretty sure it was just a recovery scam attempt. In any case, regardless of this accusation thread, I've already felt iffy about them when I saw the amount of fake reviews in Exchanges board. Unless I'm out of choices, I'm most likely not gonna touch them.

I can't even risk my fund to deposit in any exchange that I have never understand how they operates or even have seen good records about them although I might not be overwhelmed with their good ratings or records. Since some of the exchange can pretends for years before executing their real purpose of scamming people, just what FTX did their to users, which made lots of people lost their lifetime savings. Before trusting exchange carefully examine them also do not leave your asset in any exchange.

You never know how whether they are trusted enough or not until you deal with millions.

So far the impressions are exchange isn't a scam and no one really accused them of losing their money by depositing there but still they are relatively low trusted to go with big amounts.

Lol I don't even use the exchange but I'm aware of the incidence between Evan and Bitget back when Indians were pushing the hashtag. Evidences shows that man didn't invest 16 million lol it was 200k that was frozen by Bitget because he dumped his REELT bags on other investors. The exchange said the funds have been used added with theirs, to compensate other investors who got affected from what Evan and other developers of the project did. Not to be biased but I doubt a scam exchange would do that.

I am using Bitget for more than six months and didn't faced single problem. Withdraw instantly processing without any pending. The highest fund i deposited is 1500$ which i recieved from airdrop. Bitget exchange doing lot of promotion and they hired many Youtubers, influencers to promote their exchange.

I think not only Bitget but every new exchange is risky for big fund. 16 million is very big amount and I wonder why this whale not reported to law team to get back his fund if he is true in his claim. There is possibility of false accusations by this whale as sometimes they have no good setup with each other which results this kind of situation. Anyway we should always use trusted exchange for trading purpose and no need to take risk.

But Evan's case and Bitget is quite a funny and popular one too I'm surprised that not many people here knew about it. I followed up on the case when there was a trend about the exchange scamming its users.
Here's what I found.

Evan who was an advisor for REELT, sold too much of his allocated token upon its listing on the exchange and a few others, thereby crashing down the price of the asset. Here's Bitget's statement to that incident.( It was 200k that was frozen not 16 million as op has wrongly claimed. )

I learnt recently that he had filed lawsuit against Bitget. I'm looking forward to the outcome of that.

For future reference, always include both sides of a story when making assertions to enable readers know the situation and also be able to judge accordingly.

Here's my take.. I'm neither affiliated with Bitget nor have I used the exchange before, but with these evidences of him admitting to selling beyond a reasonable amount of the listed token quite enough to crash its price, I don't think the exchange did wrong for freezing his funds and reimbursing other investors. Just my take tho.

Your reports are actually misleading and inaccurate.

It's just an assumption but that some if not all of these people who put large amounts of money in a new exchange are part of the scheme given that they can get it back if they're really part of the inner circle of the scammer. Unlikely to happen but it's a possibility, I am the same as you, I don't understand someone using a new exchange and then depositing large amounts of money, I mean you would probably be thinking twice and being really careful where you put it since it's a lot of money right? I think it's a common sense to not be trusting of new exchanges with that kind of money, not having that instinct is just begging to have that money get stolen.
