Halving will be the main event of 2020 for sure
what if there is an economic crisis in some big countries or maybe there will be a big adoption from big companies, we don't know but usually bitcoin always has a surprise for all holders, so it's not just ETH 2.0 or Bitcoin halving, maybe there is something more interesting than that and certainly adoption
I read the related news about inflation and the economic crisis that is predicted to occur next year. And cryptocurrency is believed to be an alternative solution to global financial problems. This is an interesting issue, considering that some big companies have begun to adopt blockchain technology and talk about cryptocurrency.
I think the next big thing for 2020 is the BTC halving. Everyone is waiting to see what will happen to the price of BTC after the halving. Many feel it will be a repeat of 2017 while some feel it will just be normal.
I am looking forward to the launch of Libra coin and the government's intervention in the cryptocurrency space, watching the Libra project to see if it is progressing and waiting for the launch of Ethereum 2.0. 
It's more interesting to see the launching of Ethereum 2.0 than Libra. I think Libra is getting now a positive sentiment after they've been delayed and questioned by the US gov't but still it wouldn't make me interested with that coin. It will become another stable coin so there's no need for me to look at it or even at least worried about the market.well, I strongly agree with halving bitcoin that will have a good impact on bitcoin price movements and will surprise traders who have bought bitcoin at low prices because it will be increasingly difficult to get bitcoin and demand will increase.
In the long run it will because it is visible in the charts that it did good.

Right now, we are in the accumulating stage so we should buy bitcoins as much as we can. 2020 will be a big year and I know that there are potential coins that will pump like crazy. Bitcoin and Ethereum are both cryptocurrencies that we should add into our watchlists. Bitcoin and Ethereum are both coin that ruling the cryptocurrency market so I know that these coins are the most profitable in the market.
There are many things that people are waiting for in 2020. The launch of Ethereum 2.0 is one of the things that are most interested in and I also look forward to it will make people excited 
It's almost 2020, people are having great expectations that next year there will be many big changes in the world of cryptocurrencies. I also hope that everything will be better.

In my opinion, the US government intervention is not going to have a huge impact on the market due to the business realities. Halving will have a huge impact overall on altcoins and BTC price, the bull market is near. Sec and Telegram fight will end with the victory of Telegram, they have passed the minimum legal requirements AFAIK.
Those events mentioned by the OP shows that there are really interesting things happening in the very near future for crypto in general. And most of them have positive impact on crypto. We all hope that those situations will contribute to more adoption of crypto and eventually increase the value of bitcoin.
US intervention will always have a huge impact on the market because a lot of the market is still centralized, and a lot of trade and business on crypto is still based in the US.
Bitcoin itself will win out in the end for sure, but I can't really say the same for everything else. It will get bloody, Bitcoin will win, but altcoins, exchanges, services. Those will face the ax.
Yeah, US intervention has a big impact, not only the number of business bases there but the US is also a reference for world business. Everyone who runs a big business, certainly considering the US situation, that is why the US has a big impact.
And in my opinion the top exchange will not bleed when bitcoin wins, because all services and exchanges will always be correlated with bitcoin. Then when bitcoin win, everything will be fine.
It's very common to hope big at the end of every year because it's like a mindset after the huge pump in late 2017! So, here we at the end of 2019, and making hopes for the new year. Though all you mentioned are big events in crypto and everyone is waiting for them but yet I think there will be no bull run in 2020 and Libra won't come and telegram will fail to launch. I am more convinced of 2021, not for 2020!
Honestly it is hard to predict what will happened next. But I think bitcoin prediction will be more possible to be happened because all we know that bitcoin has huge possibility to have a good price value when 2020 came. I don't think that bitcoin's price will continue to fall because many investors and users are set their mindset to buy bitcoin in a low price as a long term investment that may cause on it's price growth.

Not only halving as mentioned by OP a lot of great events are going to happen in the Crypto, and this is the most exciting time since the creation of Bitcoin, I predict huge impact is going to happen in the middle of next year after the halving, I just hope many more news will come for the growth of Bitcoin.

only those who bought bitcoin at low prices ? what the others ? this halving can surprise everyone and not just those who are buying btc and what you mean will increase its difficulty ? that is only for the miner's but for others that are only buying , the difficulty is still the same .
there is no real difficulty on buying a bitcoin . i cant wait to see 2020 . let see if there will be really a big things to witness on this year or we will be only get dissapointed again .

1. Yeah, I'm very excited about halving too. Wondering what effect it will bring to Bitcoin and crypto space in general. Wouldn't hurt if it fuels another major Bullrun for Bitcoin. I would love it lol.
2. Is Libra still going on? I thought it was dead after that congress hearing.
4. Another exciting development in crypto. Hope this will bring another hype to crypto (ETH, especially) as ETH price is not looking good lately. I think ETH deserves better.

2020 is so big and people who are here this early and have accumulated enough good coins in their portfolio are lucky to witness all the events that are going to unfold this 2020, I think everything will start after the halving, many more good news are going to come, this is all what we've waited for in two years.
We have the same hope like them but so far I can't see good condition to start. In this red market only hope can make us stay and developer/ institutions will keep their work to create something new and different but can be use to support financial activity. Government is most institution we need to change public opinion about crypto and accept with wise regulation about crypto. I hope my government can do that in 2020, if not I'll take the same ways like what I do right now.
I can't wait anymore, years 2020 will come soon and see some great things that will come on crypto. everything is still a question mark and only time can answer that. but I hope Libra coins will can be launched in the coming year. because I'm curious about what kind of surprise which will be provided from platform from this Facebook. hoping that in years 2020 the Altcoin season too will occur.
