Hello BitcoinTalk Community!

I know some of you, but you don't know me. Wink Although I've been playing with cryptocurrencies for years, I've mostly kept myself in the shadow as some creepy stalker. The only crypto forum I ever really participated in was a local Croatian forum.

You are a huge inspiration to me! The successes of some of you marinated in my mind, slowly convincing me that I should stop playing this game as a hobby and get serious.
Everyone I know in the offline world doesn't really get the idea of cryptocurrencies and they actively discourage me from pursuing that sole occupation - they always tell me to keep the 'real job'. Yeah right! In any case, as a New Year's resolution, I decided to engage more with other miners, traders, and investors - to make some connections and interact with people who would actually support me rather than discourage me.

I came to join your fantastic club and grow with you. Tongue I hope that my unknown will become known and that I will contribute something good to this community. May the new year bless you all with health, wealth and happiness.

I don't know what kept you for joining here in the past, there's a lot of excitement, then than now, it's great to be a part of the forum back then because you will eventually rank without these merits, but anyway welcome to the forum and feel free what you know, this is an open forum just respect the rules.

Welcome, got this decision long time ago. Its behind me now, but still remember it.
Till then was only looking (creeping Smiley) but decided to enter, to buy some, then to buy some more and it went like that.

Hope you will learn from here as i did.

Many people in this forum started as blue eyed newbies and don't know the first thing about Cryptocurrencies before joining this forum so youa re definitely in the right place, I surfed this website for a while before I actually decided to sign up and I have to admit that it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made.

As for pursuing a career in Cryptocurrencies, that is a noble aim but ensure that you gain the skills that employers in this space are searching for an r atleast skills that makes you highly sort after as a freelancer

Yes, thank you. I'm fully aware of all the risks related to cryptocurrencies. But, with all the investments I've made in the past, I can afford it.
I don't want to lose the money I'm investing, but I'm not planning on investing more than I'm willing to lose.  Wink

Welcome to the forum. In the start we all are unknown to each other, after spending time here I have made many friends. Hope you will also contribute something positive that will benefit all of us. Can you tell us what's your speciality in crypto domain?

Yeah i agree with you buddy
People just want a real work than the digital and technology work, like freelance.
They assume freelancing is not the way to get money and think the money is not real. But, until you successful from freelance or cryptocurrency they will accept you and want to be like you.
In this case, if you don't have any freelance in long-term, you should find a real job and do freelance in part time. Until you can get stable income in freelance, you can resign on your real job and focus on freelance / cryptocurrency.
And yeah happy new year hope you will get the good and suitable job for you.

The more appropriate term you might be looking for is a lurker.

Stalker is more to checking out a person extensively (e.g. theymos' lifestyle). Anyways, happy new year!

Yeah, you are right! I was lurking. It's fairly common for things to get lost in translation. Wink

And a happy new year to you, too.

Everybody can contribute if you have the willingness to invest your time in self education. Be curious about all the things you will encounter in this community and make sure to indulge yourself in research spree. Equip yourself with knowledge and help people as much as you can. You might also check the below thread which might interest and give you a jumpstart on how the forum originate and operate.

Why it took you to long to create an account here, if you are one of the active investors, you should have an account here, because everything is all here, it's investors safety net, not just reading conversations about particular program or projects but getting your voice heard as well.

Many people on this forum tell bounty hunters and sig campaign members to get a real job, and they are right, because those things are unreliable and don't have a future. People who discourage you can also be right in some sense - crypto is extremely risky and volatile, things like mining or trading can easily bankrupt you, and there's a lot of scams in this field. Safest thing you can do is become a developer, but this takes a lot of time, and you should already be an experienced programmer to enter this field quickly.

You also have the opportunity here to participate in your local Hrvatski (Croatian) board. Despite it not being very active, local boards are an essential part here, and should be a gateway to expansion.

We will not always find local boards thriving with activity, but every net positive contribution counts, and I take pride in visiting my local board on a daily basis (a practice I intend to do while I manage to summon enough free time). Obviously, the more fluent in English one is, the more boards that can become of interest, but I do cherish the opportunity to at least contribute to keeping my local board afloat. I hope you can do so too on yours.

People never trust words so do it with your action - yes, only after your success this world will accept you.

Nothing called failure they are just one more lesson for your success.

It's a good decision for you but never make your crypto as your primary source of income if you are from a middle-class economic status, you can do the same job of getting serious with crypto trading while doing your 9 to 5 job.

[GUIDES] on Bitcointalk. Index thread, here you can find good compilation of guides for anyone to get better with cryptos.

Advance happy new year fellas.

This is very helpful, thank you Findingnemo. I really appreciate your kind support.
