Farewell, Leo. You will be missed!
You can learn to check it yourself and it is true that you will surely learn something new doing that, but the purpose of bots should not be to transfer complete responsibility, but to help increase your efficiency.
The problem with people is that they will get lazy to do the work themselves if they notice the bot made good predictions several times in a row. They will have the opinion that the bot is reliable and there is no need to doubt its suggestions. And sooner or later, it will drop the bomb on your and suggest that you pay 50 sat/vByte at a time where 5 sat/vByte would have been enough. We have seen ridiculous recommendations by services that suggest bitcoin fees many times in the past.

Bots can give notifications as soon as there is a favourable change in transaction fees. Because you are human and can be occupied with other activities, it will not be possible for you to always see these changes as soon as they happen, this is where bots come in for the purpose of instant notifications.
But you don't have to know what is happening all the time. You should only be concerned about the network status the moment you want to send a transaction. That's when the time comes to take a closer look at the mempool, which only takes a few seconds.

It's really not difficult to check the current state of the mempool yourself, instead of relying on a bot that does it for you. Plus, you learn something.

It's really not difficult to check the current state of the mempool yourself, instead of relying on a bot that does it for you. Plus, you learn something. Just open Jochen Hoenicke's mempool and check the 2h or 8h table. Put the cursor all the way to the right on the top of the colored lines. You will see the mempool data Jochen's node has acquired. Each new block removes 1 - 1.5 MB of transactions. If you want a fast confirmation, you will have to pay a high enough fee for your transaction to be in that 1 - 1.5 MB from the top.

Things had been made very easy for us to use as long as we are well updated about the ongoing technology advancement but that shouldn't be an excuse for our actions or inactions, bot is good to use but we shouldn't depends entirely on using them, the slogan that says "do your own research" DYOR mean something for us to personally discover, just as you've advised, everything is not about using rhe bot in other not to get being too relaxed but we have to engage our own mental and physical skills as well in making research or discovery about something, but this development is a good idea.

As many users have mentioned, there are several ways to receive notifications about Bitcoin price updates and mempool transaction fee updates, but the bot will also be useful, especially if you spend a lot of time on Telegram.

BitcoinTalk SuperNitifier(@BTTSuperNotifier_bot): This bot is created by a devoted member of this forum, with this telegram bot, you get notified when you receive merit on any of your posts, when any of the forum member pens down your name in any submitted post or quote your previous post, and also help you tracked topics and board in this forum, you can visit the official thread for more details about the telegram bot project.
Thanks to @TryNinja for bringing this development to the forum, I found this bot very useful as it is the main source of my information in the forum, because of the tracked section notifications in case there is any new thread and when I have been mentioned in the forum.

I am not finding the telegram bots will be very helpful in terms of monitoring the fees because we can do the same with real-time updates from websites like https://mempool.space/

The alert feature seems helpful but it's not suggesting the fee for the next block it just gives an alert when the average fee reaches that stats so still we need to reassure by checking the real-time mempool stats before making any actual transactions.

Yeah, https://mempool.space/ is a good place to start if you wanted to monitor the network and it's corresponding fees. Nothing against those bot, but if you learn checking mempool, you might other info like Difficulty Adjustment and the number of unconfirmed trx, and where your transaction is as far as block numbers is concern. As what others have share, another good website is https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#BTC%20(default%20mempool),2h,weight.

[Nope]No hype delivers more than hope
For a list of forum customization user support tools and notifications that have been made by members, we have a more complete summary thread.
Or check out Ratimov's thread, I haven't seen all of them (because it's a really big list), but I'm sure among them are bot-based wallet, trading and price tracking tools.

Those bot operators will use data from available resources rather than running their own Bitcoin full nodes. If they rely on other parties to have data for their Telegram bots, they will have issues if those parties have problems.

It's good to mention those telegram bot notifiers but it's better if you mention some websites to check mempools and fee rates. Likely those bots use data from those websites

I find the Bitcoinfees alert bot useful, especially now that Bitcoin fees are excessively high; the last transaction I did was delayed for several hours, so I had to increase the fee. its crazy.

Hey mate it's good to see such awesome development from you and this is indeed and another addition to the forum bots and this bot went further to include blockchain transaction and fee tracking, I will subscribe to the bot right away since I can manage myself around it already from your introduction.
Keep up the good job bro and more success in your future development, the telegram has had a very bad image because of the activities of scammers they're but there is no doubt the fact that we have another good side of the platform such as privacy between members, even though it still requires phone numbers for registration.

The bots are free to use; no subscription is required, and the OP is not the bot developer or affiliated (I may be wrong) with any of these bots. I'm surprised you haven't heard about Ninja BTTSupernotifier_bot yet.

Thanks to your explanation, I've been encouraged to use Telegram even though in the past the platform had been ruined by scammers, which is what I had always assumed. Before, I was discouraged from using Telegram for forum activities in order to avoid being scammed. But I'm delighted that there are some advantages to Telegram, and I appreciate your efforts in bringing them here to inform us of these wonderful advances.

There is scam everywhere, I've been on TG for years and have never been scammed, no place is safe, if you aren't careful, you will most likely fall for fraud here on the forum as well, it's simply how things work, and only YOU can protect yourself.

I'm not sure if there was a technical issue at the time, but the last time I checked TrackTX, it wasn't working properly. I can add addresses, check balances, etc. but I didn't receive notifications on incoming transactions.

I'm not sure either but with the slow respond of the bot and the internal error is bringing on BSC makes me think it is still the same thing. However, it work for balance on BTC and from the bot, the balance give a link(blockchair) to explore more on txs.
In addition, it seems that the developers have long stop working on the project, there is an official telegram link for the project but no human activity has been going on, only a welcome messages on repeat for any member that join the group.

There is a telegram bot (@CryptocurrencyAlertingBot) that allows you to monitor the incoming and outgoing Bitcoin transactions for real but there is a limitation, you are required to register an account with email and password(not good for decentralization), and after that, they allow you received 20 free notifications for BTC which after that, you will be required to subscribe, and that is why I didn't add that one.

What has an advantage has its own disadvantage but with precaution and proper guidance, it will be easier to minimize the disadvantages; this statement is for people that would say they don't use telegram because of scammers and perpetrators, I understand but there is a good side to telegram and one of the good sides is the bots, these bots help you in many ways regardless of how experienced you are to transactions, the fees, how to scan transactions and also get notify what is happening on the forum when offline.

There are a variety of these bots and they are not only limited to Bitcoin transactions, there are other bots that can help you monitor incoming and outgoing transactions on wallet address on other blockchains for free, you can track a wallet address when they have incoming transactions and outgoing transactions, and they help you scan your wallet address and monitor any wallet address without using a browser, they also help you know the fees to pay for the Bitcoin network and also look at sats require to get a transaction from wallet A to wallet B and also get notified when you get mentioned on this forum. These Bots are discussed below and their username is indicated inside parenthesis () for easy recognition of the usernames.

Bitcoin Fees(@BitcoinFeesAlert_bot): What this bot does is that you can get the current fees of Bitcoin/Vbyte for transactions with its inbuilt command, it can help you with an alert when the fees go below a certain sat/Vbyte, and when a transaction is pending, it can also help you with an alert when it becomes confirmed with the transaction ID.

Screenshot 1: Testing out Alert of If sat <= 5

Screenshot 2: Testing out current fees of Bitcoin transactions.

These are some of the tested screenshots from the bot and as you can see, Bitcoin transaction fee is high since last week and to test out pending Bitcoin transactions, you need the transaction ID and reply with the Bot with /tx xxxx(txhash) and it will notify you when the transaction becomes confirmed.

TrackTX(@TrackTX): This one is not limited to Bitcoin; it allows you to monitor Bitcoin, Ethereum, and the Binance smart chain transactions all at once. You can get your balance without having to access the explorer through your browser, and they are safe to use because they scan wallet addresses from reputable sources such as blockchair for bitcoin, etherscan for Eth, and bscan for BSC wallet addresses.

What the bot need is your forum username and UID to get notified about what is happening relative to your account.

There are more telegram helpful bots out there but the one I listed will never ask you for any sensitive information, they will never ask you for private keys or request for email address, I hope this helps. Cheers!
