So BFL isn't a scam after all?
People are pretty quick to call SCAM on here.  They could have handled a lot of this better, but I still believe they'll ship Something.  It's a bit perverse that missing your specs and timeline by a moderate margin is considered failure and scam, but sites like kickstarter and indiegogo completely miss entire product lines with no recourse for refund, yet they're treated as legit business ventures.

Angry customers does not equal scam.  BFL screwed up pretty bad, but it appears they're still building something.

If BFL is still a scam, they're putting an awful lot of work into being one...

Building hardware is hard, something a lot of software people don't get ;-)

This makes me happy.  Can't wait for these to start shipping. :-)

Actually it's pretty likely you will.

I see clear differences between Avalon's and BFL's boards. Not sure why some people are confusing the two.

Am I the only one who believes that even though they obviously botched 9 million launch dates, have the communication skills of drunk children and seem to be roughly as good at hardware design as I am at juggling chainsaws BFL will actually deliver shortly.

You are certainly in the minority.

The words "late" and "delay" are the closest BFL has ever came to being honest.

The Box of Felons Fans is quite an accurate picture though.  When they go bust and have an asset auction I really want a BFL Box of Fans as a souvenir.  My plan for it is to keep my switch and my router inside to keep it cool and maybe just a storage place to put an Android tablet on it that I would have playing a GUI like screen saver promising cool things like Time Travel or attractive 20 year old women who want to pay a middle aged man for sex.

are you near KC? i want one too :3

this is misleading. you are showing ASICminer and Avalon products, where BFL only has boxes of fans and a pick and place.

It's a common tactic to spread unwarranted Hope, Faith and Trust. That's how the church did it, that's how scammer do it and it's worked out pretty well for them so far.
