A sensitive case in the market when it comes to the future, everyone has their own opinion on it. The trust of banks and credit institutions, especially those partners with Ripple, will be the channel for XRP issuers to decide the number of coins to be issued and the corresponding exchange rate. The higher the price pulls, the higher the confidence, and vice versa. However, it will take a few years for the bank to fully appreciate the potential of the coin. In the short term, I feel it will have more consolidation and pumps in the near future.
We don't know the future but why there are people that are confident enough that the future is going to be bright for some coins? BTC for an instance, so I guess it can also depend on the coin if how good it is or if the coin has an anomaly.

To me, ripple is a good coin because of its use case which is fast and almost free when it comes to transactions therefore I can conclude that this coin's future is going to be bright but I know that some of you won't agree with this as some of you think ripple is too controversial. On the other hand, polygon is more favoured by the people. I believe more people are going to go for polygon more than to ripple.

A coin that was in the battle with regulators are not worth to be invested.

50/50, IMHO.

What if they won their case against SEC? What do you think of the price?

For me this is a landmark case and if ever they beat SEC then for sure the price will go up and it will set a precedence in the crypto industry. So we will see, it seems that this is going to be a long and hard grind fight for them.

I think that anyone in here has no clue about that include me. The different case when it comes to the ripple believers but yeah im not a part of ripple believers. Talking about the future of ripple this time is like betting for who will be winning the battle between ripple and SEC. If ripple can win this battle and sure ripple will have good future but not for another massive adoption again. As far as i know you may need watch years to be able to see who will be winning the battle. If you wanna invest or try to trade this coin and you must not do that. It will be wasting your time.

As a long time holder, since their first airdrop years ago... I have to admit that unfortunately they have lost the momentum. Anyway, they will most likely settle the lawsuit with SEC.. which offers quick profits.
Once they are able to settle the SEC issues, you can expect a rise on their price since this is the only reason why the price is not active for them, and its good that XRP is able to sustain its position and becomes more like a stable coin.

What’s new with XRP aside from their long overdue SEC issue? I didn’t hear any big news since I last buy XRP, their future updates can also tell if its still worth it to buy and hold for long term or just skip this coin and look for other option.

I would suggest changing Ripple to anything. You could change it to some shitcoin and I would trust it more than I trust Ripple. The reality is that Ripple is the name of the company and XRP is the chain they are using, and they do not even use the main XRP chain for their tasks neither, they have arrangements with companies all around the wolrd and they help those companies move around money without spending too much money. That is the worst part about crypto and I do not have to really explain why that is a scary thing.

It is just a company, helping other companies move money around cheaply, and tell you that you are big part of it, while not giving you any of the profits.

Hello,
Is the future of the Ripple bright? Change Ripple to the Polygon make more profit or HODL it?

Thank you.
actually Ripple and polygon is both a good coin,  so i think no need to swap. and if i were you keep holding your XRP and buy polygon instead if you still have cash to invest because surely you can make good profits in the future.

And also polygon is a erc20 since it's based on ethereum. so on that case you need to spent for fees, which as of now still expensive, wherein unless if you will use non custodial wallet because you can easily buy polygon without paying massive fees for ethereum network.

Hello,
Is the future of the Ripple bright?
I can't say anything about this. The future of ripple will be determined once the final decision from the court will come next years. You must always keep update with the latest news from the ripple to know whether it has bright future or not. Remember that a bad result from the court can destroy this company. RIpple can pay fines to the SEC but this company was refusing to do that.
It seems like ripple wanna get its billion money always on its hand.

Change Ripple to the Polygon make more profit or HODL it?
Good idea and that sounds better rather than always try to hodl your money in ripple.

Just like I said before, right now you need to carefully make a decision because XRP only increases when bitcoins have some sort of bull-run and the other altcoins will follow it up. But Matic doesn't need that because it can create its own momentum when you see everyone is using it in their NFT games because they realized the convenience and the almost nothing fees to execute their transactions. It will be the best time to buy it now because there hasn't been anything more convenient to counter its popularity.

Ripple is a coin for me only in terms of fast and cheap transfer of funds to and from exchanges. Unfortunately, but in my opinion it is a very risky investment. Ripple has had serious problems with the SEC in the past. In my opinion, Polygon is a much better and safer investment.

Is the future of the Ripple bright?
It will interest you to know that the asset you referred to as Ripple no longer exists as such. It's now known officially as XRP. The symbol remains the same as its name. In the past, it was a project I never believed in because it was to me an over surplus with an infinite supply. The current max supply is at 100 billion. At the current price of $0.7+, I think it isn't performing badly. I'm tempted to buy and hodl for the first time with all that I'm seeing on it now. Frankly, XRP didn't make any sense to me in the past but I'm having a different perspective about it now. If price drops to the $0.4 region, I will go in.

every time there is a problem it is always a step to protect assets, for me this is the best side. who is afraid of a big risk. the veracity of the XRP news media makes me even more doubtful as to whether it's true or not. make me not take rare not XRP holders. Of course, there are still many potential new coins that must be investigated..?

IMHO, I use Ripple for transactions because of its cheap fees but never had the idea of keeping it.
About the SEC case, there's a big rumor going out that they might achieve victory, this could also be the reason why you are asking now. Right?
Will they be in a bull run once they gain victory?
Much had happened while they are fixing that case and a lot of altcoins came out. Do you really think their old investors will go back while they are now busy with their new babies?

Hello,

I can't see which of the two has a brighter future but if I have to choose one of them, Polygon is my bet. It can't deny that Polygon is moving fast like BNB before, although XRP has been in the market for many years, however, their issues seem to affect their reputation that drives people to become doubtful and this is a factor why investors haven't chosen them.
But if I have Ripple in my wallet, I don't sell them. We can't just assume what happens someday, who knows the issue will be done and the price jumps ATH.

If the centralized part of XRP doesn't bother you then you buy and hold, this is one of the best centralised crypto project out there but I can't predict when price will pump but it's worth holding for long time.

Ripple will not be bad in the future and will still be very good if you want to own it in the long term because Ripple is an old coin that can still live and survive in a very difficult position, so it will not be wrong if you want to choose it now.

Hello,
Is the future of the Ripple bright? Change Ripple to the Polygon make more profit or HODL it?

Thank you.

XRP has been plagued with regulatory issues that are supposed to be solved by cryptos.

Its achilles heel is really the fact that it is not independent or decentralized. Its value is solely based on institutional partnerships.

With the direction of DeFi I don't see ripple really contributing much to the space as it is already running on outdated technology and ideas that are incompatible with some of the newer chains are offering (e.g. SOL, MATIC, etc.). I would definitely pull out funds now from XRP.
Well with all stuff happening and war in UA I think investing in something connected to banks is not smart. I would rather invest in SOL ADA POL ETH.

You'd rather choose Polygon instead. I'm not against Ripple (XRP) as I was using it sometimes to move my coins but if we talk about investing and hold, not as bright as it was compared to Polygon it is growing and very competitive.
And talking back their issue, it still not finished yet...rumors and some speculations rises to what will happen next that brought its future unknown.
