To avoid these sorts of delays I suppose one could enter the private key into the wallet instead of sweeping.

The problem is that transaction, it is to be confirmed in next 6 blocks, and after that the next one will get confirmed

https://blockchain.info/address/1KvmcX8VqrVxkabVgGiWV2yMZXanVKZfqu --> ah, there is a large transaction that is clogging up the works in front of your transaction.

If that last transaction is unconfirmed then how was I able to send the coins? I own both addresses.

You can send unconfirmed transactions from blockchain.info wallet.

I wonder if those large transactions are pool block reward distributions.

@Chaoman you tried to spend a unconfirmed transaction
https://blockchain.info/address/1KvmcX8VqrVxkabVgGiWV2yMZXanVKZfqu (You can see input and output transaction here)

So this transaction needs to get confirmed first
https://blockchain.info/tx/66a06c54deaad937b56ce0750f72c2f0d4a061a9e131b3198b523691eeb13305?show_adv=true

which will gonna take some time (Approx 15 minutes or more) because there are mutliple small inputs in both transactions.

I swept the funds into my blockchain.info account,
then I sent it off to my mycelium phone wallet.
That was 40 minutes ago. There are people waiting on me RIGHT NOW to do a transaction and my coins are not confirmed.

write TX transaction and receive adress ... instead of crying  Roll Eyes

https://blockchain.info/address/1KvmcX8VqrVxkabVgGiWV2yMZXanVKZfqu --> ah, there are large transactions that are clogging up the works in front of your transaction.  A miner can't mine your transaction into a block until the inputs are themselves confirmed (or at best they have to be mined together).  Getting those big transactions, e.g. 35KB, into a block will come eventually.

10 mins isnt that long...
I have done many, many transfers between BlockChain wallet and MyCelium and have never had any issues ever.

Just like David Rabahy said, make sure you have something set for a transaction fee- this greatly speeds up the transaction times at least in my experience.

...

chaoman

Sometimes a long confirmation (eg, one hour, happens more often than you would think) can happen.  It is usually best to put some "slack" into your plans, do not assume that everything will go "as it should or normally does".

blockchain.info is sometimes slow to update without refreshing the page too.

Also, NEVER EVER take any BTC on any boats.  They say that there is much heartbreak among many owners of Bitcoin who have lost them in boating accidents.

Why that happens to owners of precious metals even more!  They take their shiny with them, knowing that it is safer with them rather than in some dark hiding place at home.  Until disaster strikes...

Did you configure the transaction with a transaction fee or not?  Heck even with one it can take an hour or more for a block to be mined.  10 minutes is just the target average.

Um, what the heck?  Watch https://blockchain.info/.  Give us a clue, e.g. Bitcoin address of source or destination.

Yes my wallet says it is receiving from block chain. I just need one confirmation and it has been way over 10 minutes. If it doesnt confirm soon I am screwed.

Sweeping coins should not cause any delay.

Do you see your transaction from your blockchain address to your mycelium address?

Are you asking about a problem with waiting for a single confirmation?
