This happens at any (ANY) ICO these times, and closing a com channel like slack because of some retards is no solution!!! This really sucks with trezos atm...

This is the fault of team members. They just watched a person stealing other users' ethereum. They did not close Slack channels. If you're to blame somebody, blame sonm project team.
Everything is back to normal. Don't worry. Sonm team is very good and they know how to fix the problems as soon as they can. Now, all we have to do is to buy some coin during the ICO because this is one of the best ICO up to know. SONM has sold over 300 millions coin
It was already SOP by scammers to pose as the dev team in many coin slack chat - social engineering shit.
That was crazy. I saw lots of scammers publishing their wallets like they're the owners of the project. Lots of people sent ethereum to scammers, this was really sad.

People will send their coins anywhere, these ICO teams put in less and less effort they make up "scam/hack" stories to rip everyone off even more and whats the solution?

That's really sad to hear that. I remember they have given an EHT address in the whitepaper. I don't know if it is also effective. I transfer my eths to the address on the official website, and received the SNM coins. I think the SNM team should explain why to change the address other than the one in the whitepaper.

the hackers posted up a fake address which was made by what looked to be the sonm team this infact was the hackers. this went on for 2 miutes..as a result thousands of ether where sent to the wrong address along with loads of other btc ect. they have got away with hundreds of thousands if not millions of $$$.
i contacted them and they basically said nothing they can do. sonm you are fucking arseholes. they wouldnt release the adress on slack untill the last second. they should have released the address earlier and this wouldnt have happened. SONM then deleted all the info on slack to sweep this under the carpet.
and when it was released it was the wrong address. this resulted in my 43 eth being sent to some piece of shit hacker who is away with thousands of eth

Why invest in a crowdsale like this and obviously even if they got hacked they would surely not pay you guys back. I'm sad to hear you lost 40 eth but i would give you a tip don't participate in ico which don't have a website to pre purchase. I have also funded many ico but never trusted ico which took place on slack.

What was happening with sonm project yesterday, looks the decimal gets change again. I think the dev must give a public explanation regarding the buggy code for the total sonm alreayd sold to the investors.
