At first glance SONM seems to be the most ambitious. The SONM team seems to know this though and have quite a realistic development roadmap (the team seems rather strong as well). The alpha release coincides with the ICO, so I'll probably withhold complete judgement until news of functioning of the alpha. For the time being, GNT seems a bit of a safer bet but in only a few days we should be able to grasp the potential growth of SONM.
I prefer SONM, the many advantages of this coin and I think SONM will have a very good future.
For me, I will choose SONM as I feel this would be successful in the long run. Even though we cannot predict its price will arise. SONM is a good ICO which offer a great project.

I can guess that the price for SONM will be higher in the first weeks than the price of GNT, that after many weeks still low and without any big increases. But other than that I like and feel that SONM project will be bigger than GNT, for all their new features, more than GNT.
What do you think have better future GNT or SONM? They have similar idea and who have better chance to success?
OP one more thing. I see now that many of us SONM supporters answered in this thread. Now you may expect this and discard our opinions as biased. However bear in mind that SONM has competition in the face of Golem and iEx and opinnions against SONM might be coming from their supporters, and be just as biased if not more. What I'm trying to say is you should try to do your own research if you can. It's the only way you can be confident in what you find out.
SONM ICO is on the 15th this month. I think there's plenty of time for you to make up your mind about the project and invest if you find it interesting. Good luck!
both of it is good to pick, but SONM have many feature that help people who need cloud compuiting, we can use it for mining or do anything else

I missed the GNT ICO but bought some in the market, hence I am not missing SOMN for sure. I see potential in this business model so my bet is to invest in both. 
Well why not both? I think there is room for competition here, and also SONM has at least one 100% positive thing going for it that Golem doesn't have. While you can take part in the SONM ICO in a week, you can't go back to 2016 and take part in the Golem croudfunding 
I have bought both GNT and RLC, and I think they are both good. As for SONM, let the time tell.

Maybe you are right, because SONM is still in the process of collecting ICO funds, so I also do not know the development in the market later, I think this is very different from GNT because GNT has long been on the market so I can see. In its development is good for investment and trade

I am weary of SONM, there seems very little development on their part (most of their code is currently just forks of other code). I wish their ideas would work, but unfortunately they seem a bit too risky at this point for my taste.
i have seen more of SONM on the forum through their signature campaigns than GNT but surprisingly its seems GNT was actually unveiled to the forum earlier which gave the project a head start but I can't tear the two apart because both are good massive projects and I like the ideas behind them with very similar use of their super computers

We don't know the competition between one is already completed its ICO with in days and the other one completely new with more features. Till now we don't know bitcoin will reach to this position but there are chances for both of these coins to make significant in the market.

I like both and would bet that both projects will succeed. I'm investing in both of them.
SONM seems to be a very good and solid project, but even GNT isn't a bad choice. I would take a 70/30! 
I am not a technical guy. But I have read the whitepapers and found that the SONM has many advantages over GNT, as shown in this table.
As for the future of the investment, it is hard to say since there are whales in this market who may not care about the future.
Looks impressive, but at this stage, it's all fantasy. I could promise some super-ultra-bitcoin-and-ethereum-killer and try to collect funds with it. Actually developing it will be the hard part.
I'm not saying that the SONM guys are frauds or try to scam people, it's quite possible, that they believe with enough funding, they will be able to develop what they plan, but in my eyes, there is a big chance, that at some point, they and the community will realize that they bit off more than they could chew. Then what?
