If you plan on using records, don't they get scratched easily? If you scratch it, or it drops and breaks then you're out of luck, there go your coins. What can you do to combat this?

You can try it for yourself:
Download this free app for android
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.augury.androspectroLite&hl=de
or look for a spectrograph program for your desktop

Then use this sound

This is what it looks like when you "read" the sound with the spectrograph android app,
save image and put it in pantbrush or some other program and import your key into a wallet.

I have done tons of tests and you can read the private code letters and numbers. I want to go deeper and go into something like a bit encoding system ect. Right now it is readable and audible.

You're using the frequency domain to encode data right? (Pardon me, not an EE). How much degradation can you take and still produce something remotely readable? And wouldn't something like a bit encoding system that encodes in discrete chunks give something more error tolerant?

The main 2 goals are to be able to:
1. Cut a record with your private key on it. You can hang it on the wall, put it in a safe or play it at the next party.
2. Do more research and make the audio keys so that you can not hear them, to allow them to be hidden in songs ect (cant do this yet)

Sound Wallet, a private key in audio form cold storage meets sound. The ultimate goal is to cut records which have encrypted private keys on them. You then play the audio and with use of a spectroscope you can see your private key. The private key can be enycrypted using BIP0038 so that if anyone else "hears" your private key it will still be encrypted. You could also have the private key on a CD,Magnetic Tape, or any other virtualy any other audio format. Why? Cold storage is the safest way to secure your crypto coins. For long term cold storage records will last longer than any usb stick, memory card, or ink on a paper wallet. Records are the ultimate archive format. You could add the record to your record crate, put it in a frame and hang it on your wall, or store it in your safe.Where we are at now: We have been able to embed a private key in into audio and then read the private key using a spectroscope app on anandroid phone. The audio is about 30 seconds to one minute of noise for one key. Our vision: To provide a service of embedding private keys into audio. To be able to cut high quality records with the private key in audio form for long term storage. To be able to "hide" the private key in any song. You would only be able to see the private key with a spectroscope. To create our own spectroscope app that is designed for the purposes of reading and saving private keys. What we need:Record Lathe (vinyl recorder)

Private Keys can be encrypted
