Stay with US located pool, less ping time less disconnects less distance your signals are travelling.
I have mined in many pools just mine with a big player as the losses and profits are more predictable
mining with a smaller pool profits may be bigger in short term and losses too.
if you pay for your electricity you need the income and need to be stable as cost is stable.
once mined for a week in a small pool and got what I would only get in one day on a big pool
We were unlucky....power company says we delivered the KW ok !!!
happy mining

Now i run my rigs for about 6-8 hours last night with BTC Guild pool with total of 4.78 TH/s but i only made  0.01590032 BTC. Now at that speed i expected a little more earnings.

4.78 TH/s at current diff are 0.05408 BTC per day(24h) or 1.5 BTC a month.

So your 0.0159 perfectly fits to your 6-8 hours mining.

Doesn't matter whether you point your rigs at US or Euro server; in fact, since you're located in the US, you should stick to the US server. These days, 4.8 THs is just a drop in the bucket. Sad to say, you'll never get your BTC back. You should've just bought the bitcoins with the money you wasted on buying the miners, noob mistakes. Wise men once said, when btc is cheap, buy btc, when btc is expensive, buy miners. You're doing it the wrong way, bro!

Why should that be wise? So when BTC Drops again you sit on your Hardware, which will be worth anything?

There are also around 14000 miners in that pool for US but only 4333 for EU. Since im in USA, i was mining its US pool. Would it have been better to mine in EU pool? OR you would suggest another pool?

Please help out another n00b miner so i can become more fluent with this. Thank you for all of your help in advance.

I think it takes ~24 hours until the earnings are ramped up to the real value so be patient.

Thank you for your input. So you would suggest that i stick with BTC Guild? and what would be a difference between EU vs US pool? Speed?

Hey everybody,

Just wanted to give you an updated about my mining rigs. So i received my ATX 1300w EVGA PSU and they are a beauty and ultra quiet. I was able to do a simple test start few days ago, and with all 3 SP20 Jackson running in my living room, i would definitely need to move them to my other empty room because of the noise, the wife and the kids arent liken the noise, lol.

I also included some pictures of my setup...

There's is only a place, where  all these unsent bonus Neptunes earn more BTC for KNC.

You should delete ghash!
Were is btcguild!?!?!?

You should delete eligius,  If you do not want to be mined for the KNC.

KNC eligius adress 1Nbq2XZaRsKknf5fcT2wTXvBS31PaUWSeX
All time total payout: 10930 BTC

It's not unusual for manufacturers to mine on pools with their own equipment. It's less common these days because most manufacturers have their own private or public pools like Antpool and KNCCloud.

Eligius is not owned by KNC so you're not mining for KNC if you mine on Eligius.

You cannot go wrong with that PSU.  If you are under clocking you can use a much smaller PSU.

I have used the SuperNova 1300, and lightning 1300.  No issues with either on SP20's.

Lol, GHash hasn't been a threat to the network in many months. But yes, BTCGuild is way better. +200% luck today! Those are Paycoin/Nicehash numbers.  Cheesy

Thank you everybody for recommendations!!! I will be ordering 3 EVGA SuperNOVA 1300G2 ATX12V/EPS12V 1300W 80Plus Gold Power Supply 120-G2-1300-XR. I spoke with one of their tech via phone, they said it has everything you need to power up my SP20 rigs.

I will do another update as soon as my PSU's comes in and i power everything on. Maybe even do a video.

I also was doing some searching for a good pool, and I came up with the top 4 pools: 1. Slush 2. BitMinter 3. Eligius 4. Ghash.io. Which out of them all will be profitable for running a combined 5.1 TH/s?

Thank you in advance.

Everyone seems to really like those EVGA units for just about any miner. Might be cheaper to find a modded server PSU with a breakout board though. If you look around a few guys are selling the complete kits.

Hi Dimitri depends on where you located if you are in europe maybe considering buying from elsewhere as it will take less time to arrive and no taxes.
