While they (the scammers) have been recently deleting a lot of Stacey messages there are still some left they missed archived for entertainment purposes.  There were dozens of them recently:

http://archive.fo/Ui2MU post #5 in "Skeptical One's" scam thread
http://archive.fo/GCfUt  post #36 in "Prince of EGIFT" scam thread
http://archive.fo/qcDkD  posts #204, 208 & 218 in "Lovehacked" scam thread  ("Lovehacked" was a bought (or hacked) account as was obvious in some of it's older posts or simply look at post history).

So now those sockpuppets have been banned (including the OP), it's safe to lock this thread?

Simply look at his (their) posts which he has been slowly deleting from ALL his fake threads.  Also look at the sock puppets.

Just look at all the trust. His alts include:  SKEPTICAL ONE, LOVEHACKED and PRINCE OF EGIFTS.  They (and their myriad of sock puppet alts) have been dropping new alts starting new threads multiple times every day. Their threads are virtually identical down to sock puppets, typos, items and whatever else.

Good to see the PRINCE OF ESCAMS is gone and so is YOUTUBETV (who I have documents about 30 alts with screen prints over the last 3 years for Mr Tubie).  Now let's get rid of LOVEHACKED and SKEPTICAL ONE. Sure they will be back like herpes attacks but at least they will be newbies unless of course they buy a new account as LOVEHACKED did.

Thanks again HILARIOUSANDCO!

Give it a rest. HILARIOUSANDCO already banned that person that this thread was intended for. No need to ban every person that WE THINK might be him. I looked at both accounts and one uses discord and the other uses Skype so no connection it's even the same person. Maybe they might be working together but that doesn't have anything to do with SPAM. Your allowed to have alt accounts just as long as you don't use alt accounts to bump threads non stop because that would be spam. Don't get it twisted they both are definitely scammers no doubt about that and I tagged both red but it's in digital goods forum  you'll have to report that to scam accusations forum not spam meta forum. HILARIOUSANDCO thank for making this forum spam free.

Please qoute the rule where it says " you can't bump a thread using sockpuppets".

You can't create new accounts just to get around a rule. The rule is there to stop this sort of spam and people have been banned for this before.

He seems to think he's a mod here too:

Huge vouch for Prince of Egift. Purchased 600 Amazon giftcard for $250 through cash app. Received my giftcards within 5 minutes. Will definitely buy again.

Bought Target giftcard from this seller worked fine

Except he can't spell OFFICER.

I don't think more DT attention is necessary. If a warning by one or two people is insufficient to stop you from doing business with someone, but 8 people warning you will stop you from doing business with the person, then you are AOC level stupid and no amount of hand holding will prevent you from loosing money to scammers.

Using sockpuppet(s) to bump your marketplace thread with fake conversations is not allowed. If you are using a sockpuppet to post, then you are bumping a thread. Further, a conversation with yourself is going to be considered a "low value or pointless" post, which is also against the rules.

On its face, this person is using sockpuppet account to post fake vouches to bump his thread excessively. There is no other explanation as to how his thread continues to get unlocked and then relocked so only his "customers" can post, only for the thread to get unlocked hours later to "thank" his "customer" for the feedback.

Notwithstanding the above evidence, the mods can review browser fingerprints and IP addresses to confirm these are in fact sockpuppets.

As an update, I received a reply to my message advising he is breaking the rules in using sock puppets to bump his thread:

I have no sock puppets or whatever that is but if you want to buy giftcards here's my links I have all positive feedbacks =)

Click on link, pay, you receive egift while money is held in escrow. All I ask is, PLEASE RELEASE ESCROW WITHIN 48 HOURS AFTER YOU RECEIVE YOUR EGIFTS. This method is strictly bitcoins only.

I did not indicate any kind of interest in buying anything from him, nor did I indicate any interest in buying gift cards or "egifts", but I received an advertisement response to my message anyway.

After he sent the above personal message, he bumped his thread four times, all at least four hours apart from the last, and all within a single 24 hour spread.

There is not a loophole that allows someone to post bumps with sockpuppets on their thread. If this was allowed, you would create an account called "mikeywith-bumper" to post a new bump every second to ensure your thread is always at the top of the board.

you don't seem to want to understand, and that's a problem to begin with , you are ALLOWED to bump topics using sockpuppets, there is no rule that states the opposite.

you can create 10 sockpuppets, and speak to yourself on your topic and keep it on the top of the list without breaking forum rules. ( as long as you don't make 2 posts in a row from the same account)

edit:

noting using a sockpuppet to post counts as a bump.

let alone the fact that "sockpuppets" accusation remains a theory, while everyone and their grandmother knows it's true, there is no clear-cut evidence that he is using sockpuppets to bump the thread, technically those are happy "clients" vouching for a legit service  Grin

i can't find a simpler way of explaining this to you, but if you insist on wasting your time, be my guest Roll Eyes

Wrong. this is not a scam accusation, it's a spam accusation, while that member is a scammer, OP is not reporting him for scam " there is no need for that, he is been tagged and he is even put in TOP 5 scammers list here > https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/a-list-of-top-scammers-on-the-digital-goods-market-3486346

The reported user is a scammer, and the OP contains all the shaddy things he does on the forum regularly. If the thread is posted in scam accusations, more DT's and normal users could go through it and act upon.
I too dont think mods would react to this case but reporting his posts would eventually get him banned as he is breaking forum rules as I said earlier.

he is been tagged and he is even put in TOP 5 scammers list here > https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/a-list-of-top-scammers-on-the-digital-goods-market-3486346

This looks like a decent approach. Good Work!  Wink

OP is right. All the posts in his threads are quite obviously himself using various sockpuppets, and so technically they would be breaking the self-bumping rule. Please let us know if and when your reports are acted upon.
There is no technicality, the rule is a thread can be bumped once per 24 hours. This is my report of the thread because of the number of posts and threads involved.

I think he knows what he is doing is against the rules, but in case he didn't, I have sent him a Personal Message informing him of the rule he is breaking, noting using a sockpuppet to post counts as a bump.

I sent the Personal Message because I noticed he has continued to excessively bump his threads.
It is again a great example of why we need to either be showing trust to guests, or preventing guests from viewing trust enabled sections. To a guest who can't see the red ratings of every account in that thread, and doesn't know what a locked thread is, that thread could very well appear quite legit, with 100% positive feedback from several different accounts.
You could say that. There does become a point when no matter how much hand holding you give someone, they are bound to part with their money to a scammer. You could also say links to the various "autobuy" websites should not be displayed to guests because they are almost always going to involve a scam attempt.

Dealing with the excessive bumping issue, will also deal with the fake vouch issue.

as far as the spam goes, that scammer has not broken a single forum rule , he does not use the same account to bump his thread,

my advice, don't waste time reporting such cases, i used to do so, and my report accuracy is terribly bad, in fact i have got a lot of posts deleted for calling out scammers in their topics , my posts were deleted for being "off-topic".
Reporting something for "being as scam" will be marked as bad I think. The mods will not moderate/remove any scam attempts, but if a scam attempt involves breaking other rules, then this should be dealt with.

Calling out something to be a scam, and explaining why you believe so should not ever be off topic, unless your post is really far into 'left field'. Possibly you were posting in a self moderated thread, and the scammer deleted your post.

as far as the spam goes, that scammer has not broken a single forum rule , he does not use the same account to bump his thread, while i am pretty certain those are sockpuppets , even the Mods know they are, but they can't delete the topic/posts because having alts does not go against forum rules, in fact i am pretty certain Mods know that members is a scammer but they won't delete his topics because Mods are responsible for enforcing forum rules where they don't state "Scam is not allowed".

my advice, don't waste time reporting such cases, i used to do so, and my report accuracy is terribly bad, in fact i have got a lot of posts deleted for calling out scammers in their topics , my posts were deleted for being "off-topic".

The only way to fight these scumbags is by tagging them, raising awareness, and education newbies on how to avoid scammers.

฿itcoin for all, All for ฿itcoin.
The thread is old, but the multi-posting is more recent.

He is trying to create the illusion of conducting successful business when he is a scammer.
I get it, but I mean, with reference to the same thread, his scammy behavior was witnessed as early as January. I thought maybe the thread should have been deleted by mods  by now.

No big deal thou, perhaps the post could have not been reported by anyone.

Could it be that the thread hasn't been reported yet or the reports were just ignored?
Am I missing something?

Anyway did report the thread... waiting to see what will happen.

The user is surely breaking Forum rule for multiple bumping in a day and should be banned. I have already reported his posts for this by the way.

13. Bumps, "updates" are limited to once per 24 hours.[2]
