Suresh, have you contacted Poloniex? Not a major exchange but pretty popular.

They don't have a voting list, but from their FAQ (https://poloniex.com/faq):

Quote
How can I get such-and-such coin listed on Poloniex?
Send an email to [email protected] and tell us about your coin. There is no set of rules, but we like to see evidence of the developers' dedication to the project, community interest, and, more than anything, innovation. If your coin is truly innovative in some way, it is more or less guaranteed to be accepted by Poloniex.

If they really mean what they stated, they should add SaveCoin sraight away Smiley

Can I do a coin giveaway on Poloniex?
If we've listed the coin and you fund the giveaway, absolutely! Just contact us at [email protected] with the details—total amount, amount given per person, and around when you'd like it to go up.

If SPC is listed there, you could do a giveaway, say 0.01 SPC per person, so for 10SPC you would get 1000 new people introduced to SaveCoin.

Just saying

I have e-mailed them but I've yet to get a response  Huh
And the giveaway is a good idea, I'll be happy to donate 100SPC for that cause Smiley

Before your edit, I saw your math.

Yes it's more than 50% premine, this is already mentioned on the front page, people know this. Do you know why over 50% was premined? For interest payment purposes. This is all explained in the first post.

20 Million pre-mined, 19 million paid in interest to those who hold SPC, 1 million of that kept for myself. This is the fact, I am not paying myself interest. You may check on the block explorer.

Just because it is premined, it doesn't mean it's a bad thing.

I wasn't refering to your portion that was withheld for interest paying purposes.
I just realized that your stake is not paid interest, hence my edit.

You need to make that more clear so people don't assume the worst and fly off the handle (like I am prone to doing).

On a side note, there are several things that aren't easily identifiable like block reward and block halving (they are only listed on the website).

Thank you for your insight, I do plan to make it easier to find out the information when the new topic is opened and to cover all questions in the OP. Smiley

I will be selling mine for $10 ... I have Millions of dollars of trading experience over 30 years ... so I really mean it.

I play with LTC BC and BTC ... I dump everything except them and SPC ... SPC I will save till I am on #1,2 or 3 on the SPC richest list.

I am sure that wehn BTC markets rise and the matured altcoins take their place behind it ... SPC will move to .025 BTC due to it's structure.

I would really appreciate if HC or anyone else wanted to give an explanation to how to value SPC. Please take us through a simple calculation on how you come to the values and conclusions that you do?

There seems to be very different views on how to valuate SPC at the moment. It would be very interesting and learning to understand some views.

Peercoin has a similar amount of total coins (21M). Its value is 2 USD. So, if one believes that SPC can be as valuable as Peercoin then one will value an SPC to 2 USD...? Is that how it works, or how do you work it out?

Peercoin has a larger amount of coins, that amount will keep growing by 1% every year indefinitely so it's value might remain constant or may decrease as time goes on.

SaveCoin has a maximum of 21 million coins (Same as Bitcoin) that is fixed, that won't ever change. So if you adjust for supply decreasing and demand increasing, you'll get higher prices Smiley

For actual value of SaveCoin, that is up to the sellers and buyers to set their prices. After a while, we'll see supply decreasing as more people begin mining, making it more difficult to dump the prices to the ground.

You don't need to keep wallet open.

Buy SaveCoin from the exchanges listed in first post, look for SPC/BTC pair Smiley
