Nice idea a hedge fund between each set. May be too complex to get everyone to agree to it.  also a bit more work for me to keep track of.



each round I ask for a top list volunteer to sit out.

So Next round I am sitting out and mavericklm is sitting out.
this allows 2 from the bottom list to get in.

goal is 2 -4 volunteers for next round.

 I know I could just force 10 in 10 out don't want to.  Don't want to have to go beyond simple volunteer system of 2-4 sitting out .

Also  if you want sit out 2 or 3 or 4 rounds in a row that is cool.


Do not want to start next round till we payoff here.
So far it has been hard to rent hash at an okay price.

0.0103  for 1th  is the norm price for out current diff.

west-nice charges   3%
 I plan to tip ck .5% for blocks
transfer fees etc.  all gets just under 3.75%

so 0.0103 x  .9625 = 0.0099 per 1th  .

So for this diff if we are paying under 0.0099 we are getting a bargain.
Some of the rental price was at 0.0098  and some as high as 0.0106  

issues
1) the max rental price
2) rotation plan
3) how much to rent
4) it is work  I don't mind doing it maybe for the summer.
5) having enough players
6) max of 20 with 10 playing

Well, its for the group mates to decide...
For me it doesnt look that complicated at all.

This way, even if one of the days were out of luck, the other group will help you, try your luck ones more.

I am ok with the slight over paying. We were lucky yesterday to hit those two blocks so close to each other. My feeling is once that happened we may have been better off raising the rate right away to keep those miners we had as now we most likely have different miners who knows where they are located. It may not mean anything but if it's working keep it. Also Phil I am going to send you a PM.

By the way Philip, how do you see our groups rotate?

Also, i thought maybe we should try to work as a team?
as for now, our groups are completely two separated groups, am i right?

What if, we try to help each other a bit, heres an example of what we can do:

For instance our group found 2-3-10 blocks...
And your group wasnt able to find anything.
or the othe way around.

So what our group does, is cover your losses... and give those 0.5 bitcoins to your group for the next run.

This happens everytime a group founds a block, and help the other group for only one run, until someone founds a block again.

my 2cents: let's take a brake and regroup

looking at the address i see 20btc extra, so lets say 20btc brought 50btc! that is some luck!!!
and what comes after luck? ....

thinking of taking a break myself and willing to give up my place for RoadStress if he will give me back the place in the future!

we are overpaying a tiny bit.  0.0100 was the max goal

but with 2 blocks hit it is a little easier to do.  and we were paying 0.0102 when we hit the blocks.

price drift up may always be a problem.  small problem as it costs time but not coin.  (so far)

The plan for now is try to do 10 people at 0.515 btc

  gives us 5 btc   to do one 100th  at westhash and two 100th at nicehash.

we get about 24 -25 hours of hash each shot.

It would seem to me that if the wallet address is the same for the payment into "Phil's Meta Pool" that any payment is made back to, it becomes "hack proof" doesn't it? You might not have the right name, But where ever the .515 BTC came from gets the reward if there is any.

Doesn't that make it pretty simple?

yep  and we did 1ph which we reduced to 500th. 

 Since we hit the 2 blocks with 500th and 5.5 btc

  I like the lower numbers.

 the  problem with doing the 1 ph was  we could not keep it hashing and as pointed out no 1ph rental ever hit at ck's pool.  so dropping to 500th worked and if it works don't break it.

Still all in flux as it would be  not started until we spend this rental. 

And until I pay out the coins.
