Are the 3 coins going to be the lowest numbers in the series independently on how many are created?

A51, A52, A53... will there be A01, A02, etc, released at a later date?

Currently no plans to auction coins from the potential future batches, but if we did, I can guarantee the serials won't be lower than the ones in this auction.

Also I'd like to additionally note that there is a possibility of a slight design change in the potential future batches. The backside texts of the coin are not aligned compared to the frontside texts (this can be seen from the hologram pic). This can be fixed according to the mint and in that case it would likely make the first batch even more unique.

Thanks for letting us know! I'll see how the auction goes.  Smiley

Affordable Physical Bitcoins - Denarium.com
Description: Special Auction for 3x Denarium 1 BTC Gold Parity Coin
Starting bid: 0.7 BTC
End date and time: Sunday 21st of May at 20:00 UTC and when there have been no new bids in *3 minutes*
Payment methods accepted: Bitcoin
Additional information: Read below

Here is our latest coin, which we believe to be one of the greatest physical bitcoins of all time. This is the Denarium 1 BTC Gold Parity Coin. The weight of the coin is 1oz and it is .999 gold. We are auctioning 3 coins from the first batch. The first batch is in total 23 coins and the rest (20) will be on sale at Denarium.com when the auctions are finished.

The idea behind the coin is celebrating the 2017 price parity event of 1 bitcoin and 1oz gold. Also we believe bitcoin is digital gold and this coin is a great way to combine both traditional gold and digital gold.

This is not a limited edition and we may produce more batches in 2017 if the demand is there. Due to the high price point of these coins we however estimate that the total amount of coins produced will be small.

The coins in this auction are pre-assembled and the serial numbers of the 3 coins in this auction are: A51, A52, A53.

Pictures of the coin

Quality of the coin

These are non-polished solid gold coins which have both shiny and matte finished sections in the design. The coins look good to the naked eye and we are happy with the result. This coin is worth the money.

Packaging of the coin

Each coin will be shipped in a special packaging. Note that the design of the packaging is still a work in progress so there might be slight changes compared to this picture.

General information

You are ONLY bidding for the coin itself, not the bitcoin value inside the coin. If you win a coin, you can choose to buy it loaded which will add 1 BTC to the auction price. Or you can choose to buy it empty. To the US we can only sell coins that are not loaded by us. The "empty" coins can easily be loaded with bitcoin value by the customer himself/herself, however.

Shipping cost

Free of charge worldwide! The value of this is around 50 € on average depending on the location, so keep that in mind when bidding. Smiley

Serial numbers

All the coins have special auction serials (A). The serials reserved for the coins in this auction are A51, A52, A53. These are very special since all the coins sold at the website will have either L (loaded) or E (empty) serials.

The winners of the auction can (in succession starting from the highest bidder) choose which serial they want. It can be the lowest available but also one of the others.

Shipping date

The coins are pre-assembled which means we can ship within a couple of days after the auction payments have been finalized.

How to bid

You can bid for any amount of coins from 1 coin to 3 coins. The bidding format is "Nickname 2 @ 0.8" which means "I'm bidding for 2 coins, 0.8 bitcoins each". If you want to bid for one coin only, post "Nickname 1 @ 0.8". If for all of them, post "Nickname 3 @ 0.8". The auction is conducted by using 2 decimals only. So you can bid "2 @ 0.81" but DO NOT bid "2 @ 0.811".

So if I were bidding for 2 coins and 0.8 BTC each, I would post "Technomage 2 @ 0.8". If you forget to add your nickname, the bid will not count. So don't forget. It is much easier for us to record the bids when the nickname is also posted.

Each winner will pay exactly the amount that they bid. Meaning that if the highest bidder bid 1.5 bitcoin and the lowest winning bidder bid 1 bitcoin, then the highest bidder will pay 1.5 bitcoin for his coin and the lowest winning bidder will pay 1 bitcoin for his.

Auction rules

- When you post a bid, the bids in your previous posts are considered to be automatically canceled. You can put multiple bids in one post, however.
- All bid prices must be evenly divisible by 0.01.
- If two people bid at the same price, the person who bid first will be first in line to win a coin.
- Bids are considered invalid and will be ignored if they do not specify the nickname of the bidder, the price of the bid and the amount of coins the bidder is bidding for, or if they could not possibly win any slots.
- Winning bidders must inform me within 24 hours after the end of the auction which serial number they are choosing. Then the winner has another 24 hours to pay the full auction price.

If these rules are confusing, please ask in the thread and I will answer.

I reserve the right to reject bids, even days after the bid is made. If bids are rejected for any reason, the next bids in line that didn't win originally, will come into play and will have a chance to buy a coin.

Important: Auction payments should ONLY be paid through this BitPay Checkout page: https://bitpay.com/m/750380/checkout. Do not, under any circumstances, make payment to a Bitcoin address sent by PM.

Good luck!
