This is comical.. So this discrepancy in the whitepaper makes it a scam?? Nevermind all the project has done and continues to do. Flagging it and saying its a scam is just childish. Real crypto heads and supporters of XSPC will look at this and laugh. To everyone do your own research, do not let whats said on this thread be your ultimate deciding factor. Enjoy your day all!!

This project was accused of plagiarized the name and the ticker last year:

This is a sick joke!!!! Total SCAM!!!!

WE ARE SPECTRE!!!

https://spectreproject.io/

We are SPECTRE and Spectrecoin. We have been Spectre / Spectrecoin since 2016 and we are a serious project and not some masternode scam trying to rip off our name. Your Twitter even says 'SpectreCoin' and you use the ticker 'XSPC' when we use the ticker 'XSPEC' - this is not due to useless and lazy research but clearly a rip-off.

IF YOU ARE IN ANY WAY SERIOUS YOU RE-NAME AND RE LAUNCH. You will not get on exchanges we are with that name and ticker.

I don't see how using a different name and a different ticker is plagiarism. Arguably, only the Twitter account could be taken as plagiarism, but even that isn't the same. Spectre vs CoinSpectre is different. Hell, did BitcoinCash plagiarized Bitcoin? It's the same thing at the end of the day.

I don't see how using very general information that every other coin have in their whitepaper is so much of a big deal.

I get it plagiarism is bad in every way, but that's also so many ways to say the same thing over and over and over again.

Also, the fact that general information was used, doesn't disprove the rest of the purpose of the project. With multiple partners, we have never had issues going public, the owner of SpectreSecurityCoin goes on live shows all the time to talk about the coin. Feel free to jump in one time and go ask your questions.

That Spectre project thing... they're salty as shit for no real reason. Our name is different with two (2) whole words. Let me break it down, Spectre Security Coin. How's that the same thing as Spectre? The ticker is similar, yes, but not the same XSPEC vs XSPC. There's so many coins with similar name with similar ticker. Also, our name servers a purpose with our project goal. Spectre being a vulnerability in computing, it relate to us and our network security purpose. Their name doesn't display anything from their purpose. For all I care they could be called Ghost or Shadow[Coin] which could also work for an anonymity centric coin.

Let me check experience chain for example. They stole experience points IP, used a similar name with chain instead of points and used a similar ticker XPC instead of XP. That's only part of it and yet, I haven't seen anyone go around and call them scammers.

Archived material is bullshit. Its pretty simple. The fact that you and other have been here so little but merit each other like robin hood and the merit band. Its simple. Your merit whores. Easy. You claim everything is a scam and endorse each other. You do nothing for the crypto space. Nothing. Simple.

@Moderators -> Instead of trusting the accuser - maybe you should go and type the web site into your browser and FIND THEIR WHITEPAPER.

Mods/Admins has nothing to do with it.

Because I did - and it's not even close.

I did not write the XSPC whitepaper - but I do like to research - I don't trust links and type everything for myself - so - I ask you to verify before you just believe every jerk in town.

The OP has archived everything. So it's really hard for you to really defend something it which we have records of plagiarized whitepaper. Good luck defending though, the ball is on your side.

Flag supported as well!

Moderators of bitcointalk don't have any business with moderating scam, so there's no need you seeking their opinion. From the information provided on the OP there's every reason to believe the whitepaper was plagiarized. You seem to be too interested in this project and defending their every move, what's your assocation with them?.

Good job OP, Flag supported & feedback left on account.

See this is where the problem comes in. Bitcoin talk provides no way for people like this to be even moderated. This dude isnt even telling everything. Our white paper is much longer. It is the one we use : https://media.spectresecurity.io/docs/SpectreSecurityCoin-White-Paper-Release.pdf So if you look at the screen shots ( like the last item ) it says 5k SPD? thats not right. So your trying to do what with that? Ours clearly states 25k XSPC. And we are SpectreSecurityCoin ( its three words ) and our ticker is XSPC not XSPEC. Just because you cant find value in what we do dose not mean we are scammers. The fact that when anyone looks at your profile it seems you think the whole internet is a scammer. I want to know what project you do? I want to go take a look at them. And since you want to bang around on here, then tell us what great and grand project you are a verified member of? Cause from what i see ( google your name ) your banned from a few places already. So did you just settle here? So tell us so we may go look at them in the same way you have tried to look at us. And all your doing on bitcoin talk is just degrading the platform more than it already is.

So here we are now. Your using incorrect information to make a point, your falsely accusing someone of being a scammer, and your trying to weaponize the bitcoin talk system to do what again?  Your gripe list is pretty thin jack. So go complain to the clouds, eat a tide pod, like a window, or what ever it is you choose to do with your day. Others are helping people, and their projects get to a better place. Not like you who is like a sick version of yertle the turtle with this bitcoin talk kingdom. LOL.

Anyone reading this. Come see our project, and see what we are doing. We are not the people he is talking about, we have never pretended to be them, never contacted them, took nothing from their project. He is just one of their community members who doesnt like that we share somewhat ticker and simular name. And that is no crime. But if you leave it up to him, then it makes it a crime. So really, you can pound sand all day long man! I hope it makes you happy. But know at the end your wrong on some many levels... and even if you had a point or two, your an asshole and that wipes it out and them some. So even if your right on one thing, your attitude totally blows that away. Learn something for your age. Its says your in your 50's for fuck sake..

So thats what i think of all of this. Have a good day! Happy times screaming at the clouds! Hope this helps! Smiley

We responded to this attack last year also -> Our use cases are different - our name is similar - You better go get the police on every coin out there. XPSC is a fork of Stipend -> XSPC use case to to bridge the gap between  security professionals, IT teams, and Management teams - for which none of the three communicate together well.

Spectre Anonymous coin is a simple "currency" - trying to make anonymous transactions "copying" every coin out there - not XSPC - We have a purpose.

Good point, thank you.
Since this ICO/coin is scam (Plagiarized Whitepaper,) be careful when dealing with wallet installation files. Do not download any files.
Being hosted on Github does not mean it's safe, lots of files are compressed.
Even if the files for the wallet, they may contain some viruses or backdoors for hacking.
