But the alts that are most likely to be a success in the long-term I think are ETH and XRP. Not your best ROI if you buy in now, but highest chance of long-term increase (along with BTC).
The best and most trusted alt for me are Ethereum and monero, and there is no doubt with it, you can ask everybody, and a lot of people are going to reply the same as me. Maybe both are a little bit quiet right now, ethereum did a 10% in the last 24 hours, but monero is only decreasing, so it is a good opportunity to re-stock your portfolio of some moneros, maybe it can make x2 in some months.
CRAVE (awesome passive income) and PIVX (100% Zero Coin privacy) are going to be super Alts in future
