When something highly disruptive as blockchain applied to economy starts to grow exponentially and attracts the most brilliant brains from around the world, the second step is attracting big money to build up new things.

Which are the newest and most important trends and stuff that will came alive when institutons and big money will enter in the cryptospace?
Will be only a speculative journey or do we will be able to change the way we live on this planet for better?

That's an extremely good question. I think that all companies and technologies that were able to disrupt their fields, like the internet, all started with speculation. If you look back at the dot com bubble, there were definitely some businesses that were completely unbased but yet, still soaring in share value simply by riding the speculative bubble.

I feel like that's where bitcoin is at right now, but is nearing the end of.

We all know that bitcoin is able to be a store of value, and be able to serve a niche of people who needs to put their money in such form of assets in order to preserve their wealth, potentially due to hyperinflationary conditions with their own fiat currency. I think that people are still honestly very misguided in terms of their understanding of bitcoin at this stage, which is part of the reason why things are still speculative right now, as they don't realise the actual economic and technical benefits that bitcoin brings.

But in the future, as adoption increases and real usage increases, I do think that speculation will be a lesser aspect that it has been.

Bitcoin and blockchain technology is one of the greatest discovered of man  and the beauty of it is that it makes things easier and help recovery.  We can see are good the blockchain system is in transactions and great project are been developed every day.  I believe that bitcoin and others cryptocurrencies are going to replace the old system of fiat that we have been using and that in turn reduce the cost of production of money all over the world.
Many Third World country will be able to revive the economy through blockchain technology.  That is why I keep encouraging them to buy into the idea of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies in general.

They are common and may be speculative for many altcoins. But the application of blockchain technology must be a global welfare. Many people will enter the blockchain industry in the future. But Bitcoin may still depreciate.

I'd think that blockchains will not be limites to crypto currency use. I mean blockchain is very much a flexible technology and coukd very well be applied to a number of fields in human existence. If money were to be pumped in to research and development of blockchain then we would see leaps and bounds in upgrades. I just it is not abused by big wigs who finance this.
There is simply a lot to blockchain when it comes to just the payment method or cryptocurrency aspect as the case may be. It is a technology that is applicable to every single sector when it comes to the way data is being stored and being accessed.

Payment methods as currency with what we are seeing today is just more or less like one part of the puzzle when it comes to the usefulness of the blockchain technology but not just all that it entails. Over time, we will get to see the technology beginning to penetrate different sectors which of course will bring about a lot more transparency in all sectors you can think of, from logistics, to health, to financial etcetera.

this is a process where the blockchain has not been fully understood among the public but over time they will use the blockchain for the mass front even now many online websites are starting to use the blockchain method for payment transactions.
current speculation for future blockchain improvements.

Speculation doesn't last longer, even if there is big money on it. The solid inventions and improvements remain. So on short term you will see many speculative movements coming and going, but they won't go ahead, while some smart inventions and improvements aiming welfare will appear with less frequence, but once they appear they will really affect the world for the better and then technology keeps advancing, among speculation, brilliant minds and ideas.

Blockchain technology has a great impact to our present world which we are now on the new era in terms of technology. Maybe it has advantages to those investors who really adapt this kind of technology. Somehow it is a challenge to everyone how technology could change the lives for the future.

We all know blockchain technologies are contributing to the 4th industrial revolution
Big business is alrwady investigating the tech, money is already being put in and the
brilliant minds are working, it is already happening.

Its happening now and there is a mixture of speculation and investing happening for
both progressing individual wealth and for bettering society, as is human nature.

It certainly wouldn't be global welfare that is for sure. But, I doubt it will be just a speculative thing. Bitcoin is not something like forex in its nature, I know many people use it that way but in reality there are still places that bitcoin can help out. This is why I honestly believe that even though it won't be helping everyone out with the finance money coming it certainly it won't be just to make money neither. With all that money coming it I am sure there will be a lot of positives sides and helpful people who will set out to help the world one way or another.

I am shocked there hasn't been a charity ICO so far, that could have at least shown us how generous the general crypto population is, you buy a token when you send ETH and that token worth nothing but just shows you helped people with your donation and that ICO would take all that money and help people out. Of course we will still have to be a part of finance world in any case but that type of stuff could happen too.

Lastly, I believe that blockchain is more transparent because it has improved further its transactional security system where it could able to address and deliver high edge of transparency.

It all depends on how a blockchain is being utilized.

Most governments and corporate bobos exploring the possibilities of a blockchain are only out to set up a private blockchain network that isn't even remotely close to what Bitcoin's blockchain looks like. There won't be more transparency for you, and I doubt that you'll get to notice anything at all.

Governments never had the incentive to speed up their work flow, because it is meant to be slow and very unreliable. Even when they can help you with whatever you are asking for in a matter of hours, they will throw in a delay of at least a couple of business days, that's how they work. Banks in a way work just like that. They will privatize perfomance gains and lower operational cost, bastards.  Undecided

Blockchain is really a great technology and complement well in our internet world. I didn't even imagine that the technology of smartphone change the way people deal with everyday life. Now, it's blockchain turn. This technolgy is growing very fast and developing nice and slow. Blockchain is for global welfare in the future.

I think that if banks and other big corporations will adopt the blockchain technology because as we all know that the payment transactions are much more faster that the current bank transactions which is more efficient. It's security features is one of the best in the current situation wherein it is hard to be hack by some hackers. Lastly, I believe that blockchain is more transparent because it has improved further its transactional security system where it could able to address and deliver high edge of transparency.

I honestly think that the blockchain is quite overhyped, especially when you take into consideration that most of what the blockchain is said to solve can be solved with smart database solutions already. I'm not even exaggerating.

The blockchain is the most useful and groundbreaking when applied in decentralized form, because its immutable nature is the main killer application, not being more efficient.

The only thing I hope for is that when banks start to adopt the blockchain, they will allow their clients to enjoy better service at lower cost. I however have a feeling they'll keep that to themselves and still charge insane amounts in fees.

In my understanding, I think that speculation is part of the crypto markets eco system where people have to initiate since it may create an impact to the market. Since in most cases, people in the crypto community may invest more because of this hype and will create a demand influx that could result to a high demand causes the market price value to increase.  Hence, speculation could be a strategy that is beneficial to the people and a global welfare.

I mean, I don't understand how blockchain can disrupt the economic system, its just a ledger though. Although is has a lot of applications in different sector of society, I'm not sure how disruptive it can be.

Exactly, this is a speculative market so there will be no trends. As long as there are news to hype the market then obviously market will be alive and more money will come in.

This is a coexistence issue. This is a global welfare industry. But at the same time, it is full of speculative factors. It is necessary to know that people who make money will lose. This is unavoidable in the financial industry.

They're already in the crypto space, that's why Bitcoin and others aren't even lower in market cap.

It's just governments and banks that aren't in yet.

I think we can be able to change the way we live because the human will always search for a way to solve the problem. It's human nature to have survived even in the worst situation, and I am sure that humanity can evolve to search the better life. Every people will take a look every possibility that they can get, so they find a new way to help them in related with surviving. I am sure that it will not easy, but I am sure that we can find that way as the history proves when human get in the trouble, human will always find a way to get out from the trouble.

In the meantime, the hype for bitcoin as a speculative asset isn't waning, so in the short-term we'll see it mainly as an investment vehicle and not an actual tool for liberating the woes of the financially oppressed people. Perhaps it will never alleviate the weight of poverty to these people, but it can still help redistribute wealth in some other ways.
Well, people who are financially oppressed will stay the same if they still do not realize the importance of this newlyfound technology. I have seen a lot of people who does not care about the technology especially the crypto space and the blockchain technology.

What will happen to these people if those big guys/ investors, company are now taking part in the economy alonside with blockchain technoloy. The people who are lazy to educate themselves will be the biggest loser.
