XSPEC was one of my earlier picks back in December.  Since then I have abandoned it as I see nothing really in terms of use cases or development, just a LOT of shills on this forum.

I’m tempted to sell my other holdings but they have all taken such a loss with this market that I can’t justify it at the moment lol will have to find more fiat from somewhere

Of course I buy, sell what I get from other projects MH and PoW and buy this coin!

Anyone else buying at these prices? Insanely undervalued at the moment

Spectrecoin Community Manager here....as several have mentioned early 2018 was a challenge...we had a project manager with health problems depart in June 2017, a part time single dev/manager, that had lost his will, no white paper, no road map, but on the plus side a great community and a belief in privacy and anonymous transactions.

Mandica returned and re-established themselves as project manager, set about to calming the community with promises ....since fulfilled....of accountability, transparency and keeping the community informed of development via regular, informative newsletters.

Since March....using her own money....the books are open in discord, btw....Mandica has surpassed everyones' expectations with action....not words. In the recent fork,the community stood solidly behind our now healthy project manager Mandica, lead dev Tek and his group by following the new blockchain.

Here's what's transpired in just a few short months:

• Hired a Lead Dev as well as three regular contract devs that remain on board today, experts in there respective fields
• Updated protocol and cleaned up code with hard fork that will allow funding for the future - check
• New professional website to replace previous, often criticized bare bones site - check
• Whitepaper produced - check
• Clear Roadmap with achieveable clear goals - check

Now the Team has new ambitions and goals to accomplish the balance of 2018 and beyond.

Spectrecoin was one promising privacy coin candidate of the last bubble, but it never really reached a large community. Now in the bear market it will be difficult to gain much value, but it's good to see that Spectrecoin has an active development and a good roadmap. I am still holding a few coins and I'm not planning to sell them soon

Well after looking at your proposal of discussing strategy of buying Spectre Coin, I went through their site and bitcointalk thread and found very interesting project to be associated with. I'm glad I came across this project, and from now on I'm keeping a watchful eye on this project as I make myself ready to invest in it.

This is exactly what I like about this project, that the team is focused on technical innovations.
This project has a small market capitalization due to lack of marketing, but as we know to launch a public relations company is very simple.
The conclusion is simple, buy now and store.

The problem that the team/community face is it is still unrecognised. The team have focused so much on the tech and development to make sure that it’s constantly progressing that they haven’t left time for marketing at present. I believe they have done it the right way, look at other projects which have a large marketcap due to marketing but no actual working product or progress.
I’d rather go for the innovative tech and solid privacy which hasn’t started its rise yet than a hyped project

Yes guys, for the last month a lot of positive news from the project.
I think the price increase was waiting for confirmation of the work and now we see the V2 network, white paper and many other things.
Hence, we expect a price increase.

Spectrecoin has been quietly going about their business lately. The project had its problems early in the year but has since recoverd. Mandicas return and a new team has completely turned this project around. The team has been very active on github lately which is a great sign. Yesterday Spectrecoin hard forked to V.2. They have just released a new website as well as a new roadmap. Exciting times ahead for Spectrecoin.

I think this time around it has a chance of high success. With new leadership and stable funding the sky is the limit, considering the privacy technology is stronger than monero I would say it is worth buying now at the bottom. If it hits a major exchange then it will pump to $5 and beyond

Spectrecoin is a privacy money I've been following for a long time..Since the beginning of the year there have been a lot of expectations from the project..But the desired success has not yet been achieved..It's nice to see the team doing innovations for the project.
