I never though about ROT13. I was driving myself crazy trying to make that private key work.
Well it did say the encryption sucked Wink.

Transaction confirmed, here is the solution:

netcat (or telnet) to dnsseedns.bluematt.me on port 1337, you'll get
"All you should need for this one is my text and you should be able to get some bitcoins4u.jpg".
Now dig dnsseed.bluematt.me txt to get it's text "Db9qb2Mr46qWtV3DQisa30Zagjpn28".
You'll find bitcoins4u.jpg at http://bitcoin.bluematt.me/icons/bitcoins4u.jpg.
Now the part that stopped most people:
You need to use steghide to extract the solution file from the image (using the password Db9qb2Mr46qWtV3DQisa30Zagjpn28) and you'll get what looks like a private key:
"Damn, guess my encryption sucked, oh well here are your free bitcoins:
5Uhajhxe8JS8ZDIX1ov68R5IsJKn38laF2snK31SYO57nA3EwHC"
Well, the "encryption" did suck, it was ROT13, so ROT13 it again and import the key into bitcoin with sipa's showwallet branch and spend the bitcoins (of course its too late now).

ROT13 does indeed suck for encryption.
We have a winner, I'll post the solution when the transaction confirms.

Sent another 1 to the address, bringing the total up to 2.50 BTC for free if you win.
Thats the last I'm gonna add, and I'll be posting a clue that should give a huge bump to people who are ahead, and possibly get them finished in around 20 hours, so might want to get ahead now.

I tweaked the second clue that comes from the 1337 action, if you know how to get to it, check it out again.

Just to clear it up, the reference to a German guy/site is going down the wrong path, look again.

I figured out the meaning of the message and string, but I am struggling with this next (and hopefully last) step.

Even Google didn't help. (And I can't quite read German...)
Not sure what german you need, but I was hoping google would update by now, but apparently they very very rarely crawl websites... oh well lets see if someone finds it before google updates.

I didn't think I needed any German. But I got redirected to a German website after your 1337 action. (I'm REALLY trying not to post the content of your clue here. Work with me...) As for Google, if you aren't a news site updating several times a day, or a blog, then you'll be lucky if they crawl you once a month. If you're depending on Google, this could be a loooooong wait....

The word 'that' is ambiguous. Are we decoding line 29 or line 20?
You are decoding the line that starts with 29.

And what are we decoding?  What kind of text is that? base58 to text?
Its plain ASCII in hex.

Matt, you are one evil bastard. I was sure I had it, but nope, I've still got more to do.

I found the base58 string, AND gave you some 1337 action, but I am still completely lost. Even Google didn't help. (And I can't quite read German...)

I don't feel so dumb after all.  Grin I got to the string with the first clue, but I couldn't make anything with it. Let me see if I can find something more...

This one is tough. I found the message, but I still haven't been able to make use of the information.

Look at the txout and notice that the first string will be dropped, so decode that into text and you get "README provided by vrs/lambda".

I'm a noob. Thanks for the noob help

I've manged to locate a Base58 string using your clue, but I have been unable to make any use of it.
