Thanks for the links and info.

Writing Bitcoin with a "C", don't know why I did that . Just seemed like the right thing to do when I was writing.

That's why there's the Newbies section, so people like me can ask dumb questions and make mistakes  Wink Then have others correct us, well me in this case.

You can do it with a pocket calc, or a mobile phone that has a calculator.

First find out the price of a bitcoin, then divide the $ amount by it, like this:

$29.99 / 6.50(bitcoin price) = ~BTC 4,61   or   $4.95 / $6.50 = ~BTC 0,76

Hope it helps

You can use http://btctox.org/ to convert Bitcoin amounts to any other currency, and vice versa.

Personally I just go to http://bitcoincharts.com/charts/ and look at the last traded price on Mt. Gox ("Cl").

I've been reading a lot and notice everyone that is using BitCoin is for the most part is in development ie. knows programing etc.

In a few post people are talking about getting the average person to start using BitCoin. Which I would place myslef in that catergoy, I'm not a tech person, I know nothing about programing BitCoin or other programs.

I think I found something that needs to be done for the average person to start using BitCoin.

You can find out how much One (1) BitCoin is to your currencey. Example: One (1) BitCoin = $6.50 USD.

I might have missed it or haven't found it yet. Is there a site or something people can use to split the BitCoin in to dollars and cents or their currency.

As I stated, it's easy to find the value of one (1) BitCoin = $6.50 USD or what ever.

But people will want to split the BitCoin into the Dollar, Pound or what ever into their currency is.

For example:
The average person is going to ask. I have a product that sells for $4.95 or $29.99 What is it in BitCoin's?

So my question is, Anyone have a site that can split the BitCoin for people (Maybe I didn't I find it yet)

Make it easy for people to get the answer and they may use BitCoin's on their site(s).
