I think sigle betting is the safest way to bet on sports betting because it has less risk compared to multy bet. If I want to establish myself to continue gambling every week on only one best team, will I be able to win more money at the end of the season? If not, what will cause me to lose at the end of the season ?

For example, I only bet on Manchester City every week until the end of the season with the assumption that Manchester City are able to finish the Premier League and enter the top 4 of the standing.

Single bet is much preferred but there are still people who do love on playing parlays but this is somewhat not really that appealing on my side yet it do sucks when 1 bet is lost then those bet is considered total lost.

When in talks of sticking with Manchester then its up to your own choice yet outcomes wont really be similar from time to time but knowing Manchester they most likely able to enter that top 4.

Its up to you if you do stick with that betting strategy yet it seems that you are a hard fan with Manches.  Cheesy

This happened to me because I am kind of supporting Milwaukee Bucks until the playoffs. They had a great run in the regular season so I thought they could win straight to ECF but they didn't. You can't just bet on them without looking at the probability that they can also lose. They may be strong but I don't think there are teams that perfectly win games from a regular season up to finals.

Betting on a single team every week doesn't guarantee that team will be able to recover the loss in case of winning after 20 rounds. I prefer to make a multi betting rather than patiently waiting for the victory of single team. Btw, martingale money management is the way to go for achieving the best results, IMHO.

Yes, it depends on the strategy of the bettor, whether single or multi-bet.
Based from my experience, single or multi-bet will give you both chances of winning or losing.
Depend on the sports you are devoting your time and how well you know that particular sports.
So I think, there's really no definite strategy here. Up to the bettor how he will execute his game plan.

I don't think that it is less risk either, maybe the odds is in your favor but, @1.2 or @1.3? not good returns and it's also not a guarantee that you will always win. And then it's kinda boring isn't it? You should have same fun and get out of your comfort zone when gambling.

For example, I only bet on Manchester City every week until the end of the season with the assumption that Manchester City are able to finish the Premier League and enter the top 4 of the standing.
That is your assumption, but what happens when there is a upset?

Know that there are no really safe ways to bet in an online sports game. Whatever the game is there will be odds of losing than you odds of winning. If you have extra money then you can bet again this time for the enemy team. However this costs more, is unintuitive, and weird. And you pnly get the half of what you really betted on.

If you want to keep the risk of losing very low, you could keep low odds. And a maximum of 1.10
It will only take a very long time before you have made a reasonable profit if you bet your entire balance. and hope you don't get hit.

Betting on the best team doesn't ensure automatic profits in the short term or long term. Even a 1.01 bet can fail on certain occasions. The only proper way to beat the house is by placing winning bets on favorites or underdogs consistently.

This is easier said than done which is why most punters end up in losses over time. Research and luck are the only proper ways to win consistently over time.

Don't depend on strategies op because they are a waste of time and are only helpful for having fun in my opinion.

It varies. Even the best teams still lose. You can have an experiment and conduct that strategy that you have said but don't expect that it will give you the best results. But, if your trial runs pretty well then you're doing it correctly. As I'm saying, there's no guarantee that it will still be good in the long run. Add analysis and checking of roster changes and news about your best team so it will help you decide if it's good to bet or not.

It's funny how people think that different strategies or rules might help them winning. I don't believe in that, even not in sports betting. Although this is not only a luck based bet surprise are always possible as well as decline from almost certain situation and the most reliable teams and players might have a bad day and match might end completely different from all expectations.

Betting on the top team every week won't give you the best profit because not all matches have the same amount of risk in terms of the odds offered by the bookies and sometimes there's not enough value to bet on very small odds (1.2 and below). One user from reddit gathered some stats from one of the previous seasons in EPL showing which team would be the most profitable if you try to bet on every single match.
