I don't know if this is a good or bad impact that gambling is legalized in some countries. I'm more looking for what would be a solution and reassurance from people who seem to consider this a form of losing bets. There is absolutely no guarantee of any kind once everyone has started gambling. Even if there is a launch, will the government there only think about the level of income? and the effect later tends to be that the behavior of people who were originally dominant are less interested in gambling, even more wasteful when gambling has been legalized.

I believe the system of soft launch that they've done is more on a smaller scale, Connecticut players but restricted to those who reserved first, as what OP said. It's pretty much like how hotel reservations and the like happen I suppose, and a dedicated app isn't that far off I think, but it isn't a necessity for now since I'd reckon they're only serving a small number of players at first, to check and see what would happen, hence the soft launch. It's a pretty positive idea for me though since it's a soft launch, there could be other negative results such as a player falling into addiction while in the soft launch, and honestly, that could probably bring more negative ideas compared to people not joining in to gamble.

For campaign management look for Little Mouse!
I noticed that more states now are legalizing gambling. This is good for the sports betting industry as it will increase their revenue, and not only that, it would also help the government to increase their tax collection, making it legal has better benefits than not regulating it at all.

Anyway, I also hope that it will have a positive effect on crypto as these gambling sites if crypto is legal could add crypto as a payment system and we can count that as another adoption.

Seeing this topic I initially thought how Connecticut does the system and rules to sports bettors in Connecticut.

You mentioned this.
Company calling it the soft launch.

So, I remember about Soft Launching, I've seen a system like this ever done in the Pokémon GO game, at that time, as explained below.

Soft Launch – Definition, Advantages, Strategy and Examples
Quote
Pokémon GO initially used a soft launching strategy by first releasing it in Australia and New Zealand. Later, after seeing the success, Niantic (Pokémon GO’s publisher) released the game out to additional countries like Germany, UK, and across the Mediterranean but this caused a tremendous load on their servers and made the game unplayable. This suggests that having a comprehensive soft-launching strategy that can test all aspects and possibilities of the official app launch is important to launch the product at the right time by having the supporting infrastructure.

So, I was wondering about sports betting doing a soft launch.

• Does Connecticut use a special application for sports betting that will be implemented later or how do they do sports betting with systems such as soft launching.
• Is it possible for Connecticut to use a dedicated App store for sports betting in Connecticut.

Like what i saw and i read happened to the Pokémon GO game, if they mention soft launch, that's great, for the company, but as I said above, how those especially those who live in Connecticut do sports betting on certain sites like it happens in Pokemon GO games or....!

...gambling responsibly. Do not be addicted.
What do you think of this news??
What I think is that people should try to know other ways to gamble, people should not be relying only on fiat way of gambling when there are many other options, cryptocurrencies provided more options, see as many gambling sites on this forum which offers cryptocurrencies as a means of deposit and withdraw, many people can use the reputed betting sites on this forum. I do not recommend 1xbit, but others are reputable enough.

To the people of Connecticut, I hope they will be happy about this, but they should know that cryptocurrencies can offer more.

Whosoever is living in Connecticut, there is a good news for the gamblers there, the sports agency have approved the master Gaming license.

It would be on-reservation sports betting plus the players would only be allowed place bets on temporary sports book.

Apparently they are still waiting on some documents from the lottery and therefore it would take time before the license can be finalized, but they are introducing it partially. Company calling it the soft launch.

Quote from the source:

The Department of Consumer Protection has approved the state licenses that Foxwoods Resort Casino and Mohegan Sun need to launch sports betting, while the Connecticut Lottery Corporation says it's aiming to roll out the first phase of retail and online sports betting during the first week of October.

The state agency approved the “master gaming licenses” for on-reservation sports betting on Tuesday for the two tribal casinos in southeastern Connecticut. It comes a day after a recent decision from the U.S. Department of Interior, which approved an amended agreement between the state and Mashantucket Pequot and Mohegan tribes that allows legalized sports wagering, online gambling and other new forms of betting, was published in the Federal Register.

Overall this seems like a really positive move for the gamblers out there, soon enough there will be better options for players to gamble safely within the regulations as well.
