Be on the lookout for sports betting tipsters who try to sell you their tips, and boast about an unusually high win rate (The best tipsters have an annual win rate of 60%)

You can find free tips all over on the internet (Reddit, for example). However, there are many "tipsters" I have seen on Bitcointalk that charge up to $150 to be part of some Discord group where tips are shared, boasting win rates of 90%.

Remember, what you are looking for is how many units someone has won in the long run. If their tips were so good, they would use their own tips to get rich, instead of trying to market themselves to you.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

These people try to scam others for sure.
If someone has a tip, he would be so dump to share it with other people because if more people would start betting at that tip, the odd would start dropping and Bookers will be suspicious of this bets.

The so called "professional tipsters" are using mostly Facebook groups.I used to be a member of a few,but I never bought any services from such tipsters.I guess only the sports betting gambling addicts are buying such tips.A 90% win rate is ridiculous.

I have never seen anyone here with that win rate although there are some members here who share tips, most of them however share their tips for free.People that claim 90% win rate and are not backed up by real statistics are obvious scammers, they are selling their ideas on betting at an expensive price.I agree that only addicted gamblers may buy such services.

Only desperate gamblers who will buy useless tips like that. And I strongly agree that this is categorized as fraudulent service, they provide information "we sell tips not sell profits" and this proves that their tips do not provide benefits as they say, all are mere lies. They only make data manipulation, edit images, as if getting consistent profits, it is all done just to attract the attention of beginners to buy it.

Honestly, I used to be a victim, but not now, I have a strategy that I developed myself. And this is my bitter experience, don't ever buy tips like that, everything is on Google if you look for it.

I’ve never bought a single tip from anybody & I don’t ever intend to. All forms of gambling hold an element of risk, you may as well just trust your own judgement & go with it. It’s certainly better than trusting somebody random on here & paying them.
It's definitely better, paying someone for doing nothing to me is foolish, most of all this tipsters make the same predictions as you and I, but they have a way of embellishing it, to make it look spectacular and out of the ordinary.

I cannot pay for tips except I'm sure it's 100% correct, but since there is nothing like that, I won't.

Obviously if someone boasts about his win rate and its not convincing then stop proceeding of being interested to him or just observe him for a long time.

I've seen tipsters that are offering free tip but I think I just followed few of them but with those bets that I've made, I also know what would be the condition of the match that I'm betting.

Most of the tipsters will only publicly state their winning bets after the fact, and will throw in a few losing ones so it looks less suspicious.

It's not a reliable measure to use what they show as an indicator of their success.
We can determine and can have our own basis on how reliable and accurate they are.

If you have that feeling that they are just showing few of their losses, simply stop following them if you don't find them trustworthy and reliable anymore.

maybe I'll fall to that if the tipsters will be willing to escrow the funds, he will only receive payments when the tips win, and aside from that if in case the tip loses he needs to repay the amount.

What do you mean by escrow the funds, guess that would not happen because you are the one betting, it's your money that you will risk, and you will have to pay for the subscription because you will be given a tip. The thing is, every time you bet, there is no assurance of winning, but the tipster always wins, whether his beat will lose or win.

I love your final disclaimer of if something's too good to be true, then it likely is. I used to be one of those people that would pay to get tips from professional tipsters in the past, winrate was fine but I ended up mostly doing my own betting and I was able to actually achieve a better winrate than what the tipster I was using offered, and I didn't have to pay a ridiculous amount of money monthly for those tips anymore.
You really don't gain anything yourself by using tips anyways, and it's always best to rely on yourself for anything like betting where money's involved.

I have used free tipsters in the past and let me tell you, their incentive to keep a large Twitter/Reddit following really works and some of them are good.

The biggest issue with paying for tips lies in the fact that you can't really manage your bankroll. Let's say your bankroll is $100, and the tipster is charging you $30 per tip, that's 30% of your entire bankroll.

Also, if you pay for the tips, and you end up losing out, it hammers out a serious percentage of your ROI, so when you add that cut to your ROI, you would actually have been better off following a free tipster.

Everyone knows sports betting has ups and downs, nobody can sustain being in the up long term.

There are also other scams which I haven't addressed, like people claiming they have insider information on fixed games, lying about being profits, martingale, etc.

This is a common sense advice.

I am not too familiar with sports gambling but when I see the baits I quickly know they are unrealistic and most likely are scams.  This is probably why those who post stuff like that here, do that with new accounts
Self explanatory indeed, why sharing your tips if your winning rate is high better to use it and keep sucking the bankroll of sports betting sites, it's unrealistic to have that winning rate, maybe I'll fall to that if the tipsters will be willing to escrow the funds, he will only receive payments when the tips win, and aside from that if in case the tip loses he needs to repay the amount.

Winding down.
Also I should add that many tipster sites are affiliated with the bookmakers that they advertise for, they get a cut of your losses if you follow their bets
The moment you sign up on their referral, they are already getting something every time you put your bet, it's their way also to make you sign up, they are giving tips for you to follow and I think it's a wiser strategy to just share free tips so they can get more sign up, premium tips are so expensive, it's hard to convince sports bettors to buy for every pick.

The OP is very right about the fact that if the tips is totally legit, the tipsters will use that info to get rich on their own.
No need to sell it to others if their system is really working.

Some tipsters would rather give tips than use their own money to bet. Not everyone have the funds to gamble and remember their tips are not 100% sure win, even if their claim is 90% of their tip won, theres still a remaining 10% chance that they are wrong.

If you are 90% win rate, that is already very high  You can easily build wealth using your own prediction than hard selling them. It is like KD shooting free throws, it is almost guatanteed it will go in. Even if you lose once, you won't go broke. So I do not buy the alibi that they do not have money to fund their bets. How the heck can they get 90% if they are not betting? If anyone claims that high win rate and asks for money for tips, its a scam.

So if they are guaranteeing 90% win rate and they can't make money on their own, then start doubting such offer.
They should use that info to their advantage and make the most out of it, right?

It really sounds good to be true it's hard to reach that 90% win rate almost impossible and the $150 is just too high, they are just here to make money and it looks like a scam if they are offering a very high rate I would have believed it if they have a free one week trial  and test if they really have that high win rate.

However we go with professional tipsters if we don't have luck then winning is a dream. There are more paid tipsters which were just a way to scam people and very few groups function in a legit way.

With sports betting when we go with the games that we have good knowledge we'll get good winning. Better is to gain more and more information than just following tipsters.
Tested out that kind of betting where i do follow someone on a sport which i didnt know. You wont really feel the enjoyment even though you have win the bet
and same goes with losing where you do regret because you have just followed into a sport that you wont have any idea on whats on it comparing into sports that you have knowledge where you would able to enjoy.

Why would pay if you can tail out from free of charge tipsters? You can check out winning percentage and observed. If that one do

suits out your betting style and interest then tend to follow. There's no need to pay something which you can actually get it for free or
make is some preference.
