Goodnight, ohh Leo!!! 🦅
Do you have a sports that you keep betting on even though you don’t watch this sports live or you don’t know the full specifications of this game?
i don't really know how possible this is... How else I'm i supposed to make some speculations assuming i wanna wager on them ??  Let's say this is about soccer and their divisions, i can as well wager on any other type of division based off of their recorded performances, i don't really have to watch them play. Aside that, wagering on sports you've got no idea about is just as good as being scammed of those funds.

Actually I’m looking forward on comment about betting on sports that you literally don’t know the full details of the game/specification. It’s more on betting blindly like betting on dice which you didn’t know how they will get the result but this time do it on sports.
I rarely bet blindly and I could even remember the last time I did or the sport I picked. Maybe I'll do it again with cricket since I don't fully understand the rules in that sport.

As far as watching every game I bet on live then that's not possible for me since I have other things to do. Sometimes it's also played at a time when I have to rest so I just check the results later. If I'm to pick which one I watch the least then I would have to say maybe F1.

yes, most of the time I also bet on tennis without watching the match...the only sport that I really can't bet in this way... are horse races! I must say that compared to classic bookmakers, crypto-bookmakers offer different options for following live matches.
If there’s a good hype with that sports and the team or even with the player, i also place a bet even if I don’t watch that sports more ofter or I don’t support it though I always make sure to monitor my bet so I can still know if I won or not. Betting on a sports that you are not familiar with consist of big risk, so assess your risk appetite and gamble only what you can afford to lose so you wont regret it.

Aside football as a sport which I love watching and love betting on another sport I like is the Olympics. I watch quit a lot but I've never thought of checking any sports book to know if they have bets for them. If we consider the WWE as a sports the that is another sports betting I'll like to do someday. I discovered that I am knowledgeable about the players. I should give it a try sometime.

In my case, I keep betting on tennis whenever I have spare money on my casino balance from my VIP rewards(Rakeback) after my long game session on live games.

Tennis, cool.
In no particular order in the future, I'll like to add basket ball, cricket and boxing to the sports I'll bet on instead of football.

Underestimate- nothing
Most of the time I place bets on football but never watch the games. To be more specific, I place bets on the Premier League because of the promotions. I never watch football games because for me it's kind of boring and football isn't popular in my country. Most of the casinos have great promotions when it comes to that tournament (the Premier League); even if you look at BitcoinTalk's game and round section most of the contests are about the Premier League. Also, most of the popular gambling websites are sponsored by some of the teams in the Premier League. Thats encourage me to place bet but never watch the game.
90 percent of people who gamble always football and I don't think any other sport has the kind of attention that football comes with, me personally I bet in all leagues depending on who is playing when I see some clubs playing I have full assurance of there winning, I only bet once on basketball and I did not enjoy it so I continued with the football being used to, and since my gambling is always based on who is playing, I don't gamble a lot because am trying to avoid the bad habit of turning into an addict, it is only when you watch football that you can enjoy making bet on a particular club because assumption won't help you alone, you need to also know what a particular club is up to. football is not boring I think basketball is boring still finding it difficult to understand that shit. when it comes to sports betting premier league and Champions League draw a lot of attention.  people bet a lot on does leagues. and you will see some casinos even do a kind of collaborate with like Premier League and others.

Do you have a sports that you keep betting on even though you don’t watch this sports live or you don’t know the full specifications of this game?
Funny thing is I do have several sports of this nature I bet on but never get to watch these sports ...but because I have some knowledge on how they are played I think I can get away with it as I check head to heads and past performance which gives me the edge on them and the math does add up, but I wouldn't advise someone else to do this as this could be betting blindly.

Although my case is different, maybe this will count: Betting on a different league that I don't follow but is still under my favorite sports.

To make it clear, for example, I always bet on basketball as my preferred sport, usually in the NBA and our local basketball league, PBA. But sometimes, when I'm feeling it, extending my betting to other basketball leagues which is not familiar to me, and my knowledge is lacking, like CBA, NCAA, NBL any other basketball league from different countries that was covered by the sportsbook.

My winning rate placing bets from unfamiliar leagues? Not good. Smiley

This NCAA league is one of my favorites btw, eye balling the rate at which baskets are made boom you have an average and can predict average totals being over or under... among those I don't watch but enjoy.

The truth is that it is an interesting topic, it is incredible to me that there are people who do not follow sports but still make sports bets, that for me is like crossing an avenue with my eyes blindfolded, so something incredible turns out for me in these things, because I am I'm used to saying that a sporting interest should be made if and only if things remain the same, at least one research has been done, but I am not capable of making a bet on a sport that I know nothing about, much less that I don't know anything about. I know the teams and I have no idea how the sport is, that's like betting on baseball or basketball, it's something I don't know, and in fact I don't play them, because my sports are different, that's like Enter the casino and play in a slot machine, or in a roulette wheel, or in any game that has to do with zarza games, only luck and nothing of skill, for me sports betting has a lot to do with skill.

For sports betting it has a lot to do with the experience you have in sports, in the way of thinking about the intelligence that is put into it to be able to bet and be sure that you will make money there risking losing, because in part when we do a bet we are sure that our data, that our thinking and decision is the correct one, that the other way around will not happen, for that reason things can happen better in sports betting, in fact I am one of those who think that bets Sports you have a better chance of winning than in any other area of the game, even above poker and black jack because they require skill, strategy and, among other things, the best you can get from luck, because sometimes luck also influences.

Now, things can turn out very differently when we are making blind bets on sports, it is something that seems very reckless to me, and I really admire those who make bets without even knowing about sports.

In my case, I keep betting on tennis whenever I have spare money on my casino balance from my VIP rewards(Rakeback) after my long game session on live games. I’m not really a fan of sports betting in general but I do place bet randomly on tennis especially the Asian Handicap on live match. I’m always betting on the underdog that already has 1 set advantage to the favorite players. I do this bet just for fun no string attached.

I believe this is the literal definition of “gamble what you can afford to lose”.  Grin

It's funny when I saw this thread I thought yep this is me.  I'm a fan of watching live hockey but I don't really don't watch it on TV.  What I do like to bet on though is the under during live betting.  Taking teams that typically score a lot that have high over unders but towards the end of the first have not scored yet I will nab the under.  Honestly it's worked out more often than not.

I feel you. Whenever I have extra funds after placing a bet on my usual sports, I always place a parlay bet on football which in the first place, I don't even know the game rules, game mechanics, and everything about that sport. I'm just depending on pure luck and if I lose it, just move on.

It all started when I luckily won a random bet on a football match way back years ago. It was a parlay bet and most of my selections are DRAW results. The odds on DRAW mostly at football matches are playing from over 3.00 to 5.00, obviously depending on what team is facing. Luckily, I hit those 5 parlay bets. I can't remember the total odds but I take home a big amount.

Since then, I'm hoping I can hit again a random parlay bet with only selecting a DRAW pick.

Well, I am one person that is a football lover and literally all my betting is always on football games, but there was a certain time in my life I started placing bet on dog race even though I wasn't fully submerged into it, but however I made some bet on dog race sometime past. I didn't continue because it was not my environment of specialty, so I had to stop and concentrated on football where I understand how it works.

But one thing with betting is the fact that you can actually learn or concentrate on a particular sports and understand how it works then you begin to bet on them even though is not your area of specialty, wether it is hockey, tennis, football, basketball etc. what you just need to do is to give some time of concentration to understand how the game works, once you give your time and dedication to a certain sports and you begin to understand those teams that are likely winners and people that are good at it, then you can begin to place your bet on them.

The complexity and sweetness of gambling can only be enjoyed when you try new things especially out of your comfort zone, at first it might look dangerous but it's worth trying.

Nope. i havent done such thing because it would really be just that a total waste if you do make use of those funds on something that you arent even aware on what sports it is or what
are the rules or doesnt even have the team that you could bet on. Yes, this is gambling but not on the sense that you would really be just that betting so carelessly and this is why i dont really like
on doing that just because it is really just that a waste of money on something on a bet that you wasnt sure off. I would rather be making up some bets which i do know or something that
i do have the chance on winning. Well, i have tested out on making some bets on other teams but im aware of  what game it is which is on esports on which there is a certain
game on which im aware a bit but not in overall. I did make some blind bets and do able to stick into favorite but ended up on a loss.

There are many sports I don't watch because of my busy schedule and I mostly beg on them. We could have not choice than to vet in the sport even if we don't watch the bet. I even prefer to bet on a particular sport and later after the match has ended, I could conveniently check the results without too much pressure. This is more better for me that to keep watching for the result and it ended to be the opposite of what I bet on. That can be more emotional than just leaving the bet to play then one can check the end result. I don't like watching and being emotional at the same time. It mostly makes me feel somehow especially when the match ended in the opposite of my bet.
I know don't what the OP really meant, because there are two ways to this
  • 1. betting on matches you won't or don't watch
  • 2. Betting on an entire sport you don't actually watch
Because I believe it's very much possible to bet on games matches that you don't watch and also betting on leagues that you are not familiar with even on TV. But I think some persons are much okay with such bets because it reduces the tension and make something think positively rather than watching the game play out.

When it comes to sports bets, I focus on the sports I enjoy watching. But it is not possible to watch all the games, so you just make your prediction and select the game to want to watch. As I am watching my preferred games, my phone will be in my hands to check the outcomes of other games I placed bets. My most preferred game is football and enjoy betting on games in any football league. Gambling for me is for fun and profit, therefore my target always is to enjoy my games and also win some money. It is easier for me to gamble on the game that I understand. But when most football leagues have ended, my alternative with be slots games on casinos. In some cases, I might be encouraged by some friends to try betting on other sports but I don't get the same level of pleasure. Immediately the league resumes, football bets will be my point of call.

I've done that before when there were some spare amount on my account. It just don't feel right when I see that there's still balance from it and that's why I think that I just bet it randomly.

The journey that I've got from doing this wasn't good. They may be small amounts but they're not really good at all as most of them have been losing. I bet with both small and big odds but never found in doing any of that.

That's why even with small amounts, when done collectively, the amount was still regretful to be seen as just losing money.

After reaching the target/profit, sometimes I bet blindly on Esports and place a bet on the favorite with the odds less than 1.5x.
I even dont know how good or bad the team was, and I never play any of the games in esport such as LoL, Valorant, Crossfire, etc.
Its only for fun, with hope the winning from it can cover the withdrawal fees.

I'm guilty of this too but I think most if not all are guilty of this habit. As a sport gambler, you can't watch all the sports, some are not even fun to watch but for the sake of gambling and precise prediction, you add them to your games and sometimes, it's because there is not available games to pick and instead of forcing picks from a particular games, you go for the other available sports.

I do hockey and Basketball as an additional multiple bets to have a bigger odd most often and I don't watch them but from my experience, I'm familiar with some of them and how some of their players behaves in field and from their last matches, I do put them on my watch list even if I don't play them. That gives me insight about their performance, if they are in form or if they are having difficulty in their respective leagues.

It is not all the time that we would have time to watch all the matches that we bet on, due to some important issues on ground, that is worth handling than watching football for entertainment. I sometimes bet on our local league because there is a club that is the most favorite in the league, so I just place my bet without watching the match. This is because it is always boring, and I am not used to watching boring games. This is why most times I just place my bet and follow up the result online with my phone.

That's cool because i actually do the same thing but mine is different from yours as I bet on baseball and believe I don't even have a clue on how the game is being decided and even the rules involved in the game but the reason I kept playing the game was because anytime I selected some match base on the odd difference the game always come and plays out well for me and that's why I always flip some spare cash on this sports but it's still funny though because I don't know and don't even watch the sport but the urge to bet on it just keeps playing on my head.
