Yeah same here.. Not much idea about it. Left watching it an year ago. Did watched few matches in middle but still not enough to have all the ideas about the players.

I used to watch the highlight of NBA games frequently when Nowitzki, Yao, T-Mac, Melo, O'Neal, Odom, and Gasol were still playing. But now I have no idea about the current players except LeBron lol.

Ok, let's try my luck with NBA picks, never won a single ticket that had NBA game on it so this will so nicely to get at least one jersey back. Don't watch basketball at all so here it goes...

You choose from those which have been selected and if there are more added than those will be eligible to be chosen for your selections.
Only to post on here your picks for each of those three categories to have your choice of a shirt.

To the second question - Yes!
Those who have join in the thread in the past year, last year, this year - Whenever!
Just as long as they have posted their picks to atleast one multimasters to be eligible for a shirt as their giveaway prize for just entering in.
The freebets are available for anyone who wishes to post their picks on here (just revised this requirement to be offered to all forum members).

So basically open to everyone who wants to be part of this, so to have an entry point on to the discussion offered on this thread.

As for the shirt prizes, everyone that posted in this thread in the past year and join the NBA All-Star Weekend challenges competition will receive it as the entry prize but freebets for the prizes will only be given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place accordingly

I'll put in my picks for NBA later, but for now, I'm going to share the reasoning behind my strikes predictions, so we can see if a total noob has any real advantage when betting with stats haha.

So, I know nothing about MMA, or next to nothing. But I pulled out some stats for Israel.
Average fight time: 10.5 minutes
Average middleweight strikes landed per 15 minutes: 68

So assuming both are evenly matched, we're going to get about 93 strikes between the two of them if the fight lasts only 10 minutes.

I'll adjust for a time of 11 minutes and get 102 strikes =D

I am also interested in this
I think we might see 100k, after all, it's just 2x away. But these odds are way too small to tip on it for anything else rather than fun alone.

I used to love watching the all-star games but in recent times it became a game without any competitiveness - it's purely for show. I'll probably skip this one as well.

Unfortunately there's none since it's listed on their special and usually it's just a one way offer. I also think $100k is unlikely at the moment but the price surge that happened during the past 6 months is unexpected(at least for me) and slowly $100k is looking like a possibilty.

To participate all you need to do is give your predictions on this thread in text form, no betting required as those markets aren't available as of yet.

Is this a new contest to replace the weekly MM or it is just a temporary one for now?


Is it possible to make one with Arsenal / Southampton's shirt as the prizes?   I missed the last promotions for the Arsenal shirts. Btw, I received my Watford's shirt after the season is over so yeah its kinda feels weird and It would be nice to have those shirts while the season is still running.

No, not like the betbuilder one because if it were then it would be announced on that thread since it is separate from this one.
These are prop bets since we will be having the winner of the contests (three pointer, slam dunk & NBA Skills Challenge) and those are determined by one player as the winner. So there is nothing to it.
I remember running a similar competition on one of my other threads which we had the winners there and I remember it because I had the slam dunk winner for it correctly selected (Bam Adebeyo ).
So we will run it exactly the same as that one where we will have the three selections for each one (as you can only pick the one winner from each category) and the one with the most correct will be the first place winner and will receive a 4mbtc freebet from steve.
The second and third place winners will win an amount in a form of a freebet to still be determined (might be 1mbtc each still seeing about this).

So in short,
You will need to have a betslip submitted on this thread for each of the following:
1. Three pointer
2. Slam dunk (only 3 participants to choose from so far? )
3. NBA Skills Challenge
Minimum bet amount to qualify is set to: 0.33mbtc per betslip so just under 1mbtc to participant.

Looks like they are having everything crammed into one night being on Sunday instead of the the night before the NBA All-Star game itself.

NBA picks seem cool but again I've no idea on who or what to bet (but that won't stop me from making a bet haha I so know myself when it comes to Sportsbet bets;)

Oh man that's an interesting bet, I didn't realize bookies were already considering it. 1.01 must mean they are for sure on the outcome, the wiser "bet" is to buy Bitcoin now when it's still below 50k I guess!

Will it be similar to the bet builder one ? Regardless, i'm down to join the challenge so we could have something going for the weekend. 

Also I saw this interesting bet on sportsbet's special. If only the odds aren't 1.01 i'd probably drop my free bet on it. 

So we have all said our farewells to the Multimaster competition.

How does everybody feel like having a good old challenge for the NBA All-star three pointer and slam dunk competition?

Steve will be giving those who come close once again with the freebets and what ever else he wants to give out as prizes for placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Don't know how we will get this one going yet as I just have mentioned it to him and it was too late to get a response back.
So put in your suggestions and we might take a que for this to add to the requirements.
It is on this weekend so it gives only about 4-5 days to put in your opinion on how you would like this to be done.
The All-star game is on Sunday so that might be another competition/challenge put up all together.

It's quite unfortunate to hear that the multi master weekly events have come to an end.  Aside from weekend football matches, It was always something to look forward to every weekend. Despite the d fact that I didn't get to win any of the rewards, it was always fun to compete against some of the best tippers here on the forum. On that note, I'd like to say a big thank you to SB team, Steve, rdbase and tykiwanuka for organizing MM with each passing week. Kudos to you all 

Hopefully they'd be more predictions in the future.

I can be fairly happy with my average score 7,4, two wins and 100 fame points even if I never won actual reward in bitcoin.
