Didn't know I was old hat haha but yeah, been in a lucky streak with SB promos and stuff, don't think there aren't others luckier though, they're just not on the forum. SB pretty much spends a lot of time taking their customers out for sports events here and there -- it's just the footie here that's probably more "global" for the forum to enjoy.

Saw a Turkish league special today, so it's definitely still happening, just perhaps back to the old format of specials going live every few hours closer to event.
It was meant as a complement because when it comes to anything you don't want to be a green hat (at some jobs they are the inexperienced while the white hats are always the mature and much more experienced workers in the gang) especially when it comes to betting or anything gambling related.

Yes, this is the place so to talk about anything to do with the specials as you had a shout out to me on the final day of the Champions league final match during the clubtalk!

I just saw there's a World Cup game plus even Africa Cup of Nations games in addition to Nations League so keep your eyes open for new specials today I guess.

I'm such an addict I put a multibet mixing up all the games, first bet in a while for me since La Liga ended lol

Are any of you also reducing gambling because of BTC being low price? Or increasing because you can get more BTC with same amount of money?
Talking about cup of nations, looks like Pogba is voicing his opinion about being at Man Utd. Think he will be focusing on this tournament instead and the most expensive player on the red devils squad (from what I remember when I last looked late last year) just might be calling it quits there. Who knows when those big name clubs flash the money where they can not say no too.
Are any of you also reducing gambling because of BTC being low price? Or increasing because you can get more BTC with same amount of money?
For me, it's increasing since I tend to base my unit sizing on USD or EURO when placing bets and sometimes I have to look up the equivalent just to double-check.  Cheesy

Good thing Sportsbet made things easier as they have added the three buttons that track our average bet size so it only takes one click instead of typing it over and over again.
Didn't realize this was offered when placing a bet. I have had times when I would miss a bet because it wasn't in time due to having to type out the bet amount over and over again. This can shave off the milliseconds so to have it finally take the bet.
Thanks ralle14 will give it a try next time!

No, atleast I don't think so @slaman29. Cheesy

He had met up with one of the clubtalk radio dj's before and had dinner with his family while they were there from what I remember.
Sojouner is an old hat when it comes to Sportsbet.io meet-ups and celebrations.

Sojourner the old hat. I don't believe there's any other casino or sportsbook with as many meetups in this forum, and then Steve mentioned they were also at the UCL final with other customers.

When you think about the other big names here like Stake, they don't do that to my knowledge, so I guess they all have a lot to learn from the way Sportsbet does community reach Smiley
You never know they might start because they did mention on their last livestream over the weekend that they will be travelling to their head office in serbia to do the next livestream on Saturday so they could be in discussion to start doing the same too.
Who knows but only them.

Behind the Bet with Peter Schmeichel is about to begin!
https://sportsbet.io/promotions/behind-the-bet-with-peter-schmeichel

Some short clips highlighting his historic football career:

https://youtu.be/gth671nqhb8

Starts in about and 1 hour and a half so plenty of time to get your cup of coffee and enjoy the livestream!

You can view the whole interview and question reading from all the ones who entered in theirs on the clubhouse chat room:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qDr9q4yXAg

One thing to mention the Behind the Bet stream was one of a kind I just saw a bit of it (was not online live to see it as he spoke) and as usual we saw Sojourner's question get asked (they love you there it seems man).

IIRC every edition Sojourner gets a question in. Does he have a secret line open to them to get asked or am I just imagining seeing him all the time.

No offense buway today I'm responding to you everwhere lol

I mentioned it being weird because I expect that all providers actually use dollar amount in their system for chips. For example, $50 cents or $1 bets using chip or half chip.

But maybe for Sportsbet the chip system is fixed on BTC, with a mBTC denomination.

Makes sense for a crypto casino but then again, even the wagering amount they require from you is US dollar based.

As said, USDT bets are all same as BTC just,,, different wallet. When you gamble with it at Casino on USDT though it still shows MBTC chips/balance weird? Smiley
I also have the same experience but only when i'm playing at the live casinos, they remain mBTC regardless of the wallet i'm using.

With that said, it's probably based on the preference of the providers or maybe it depends on the default settings of the casino since some of them use fiat values even when i'm using my bitcoin as the current wallet.
This is how they prefer to show your current balance: in btc instead of the currency you are actually using.
Other casinos do this as well but show in USD or your local currency too when playing casino.
I would like to know the which exchange they get these currency rates from.
It would be interesting to know if all casino use the same way of converting these balances to btc.

rdbase yes I keep thinking to myself that it was not so long ago Black Friday and BTC was around 50k but that is now almost half year gone and I have not improved my BTC life or my actual life  Grin

I also received a USDT free bet that'll expire later today and used it on some tennis game that's about to start in an hour.

I guess it came from the super 7 since I only got two correct predictions on the last round of the free 4-3. Not sure how it happened but I only got a few points based on the leaderboard, it didn't say how many totals I got correctly though but still happy I got a free bet just from participating.  Grin

@Trofo @rdbase what? they advertise buwaytress on radio? How come I never heard it  Grin

20 mbtc was 1000 euros back then when you won? And now only something less than 600 euro. How time flies for us all in crypto world,,, but it does not matter. I think I still put my standard sports bet at 0.15 mbtc back last year until now.

Weirdly I have more and more USDT in my account from freebets. over $120 so far!!

Funnily enough, I've never heard it myself except for the one session after it happened. God awful voice, hated how I sound and now it's playing every time heh. Some other forum member has got to win and replace that!

but yes, it was 20 mbtc, which I converted soon after to almost exactly 1000 euros, and got myself a new laptop (which ended up for someone else) but it was Black Friday and got a really nice discount on a new model so made someone really happy.

^USDT freebets I get from 4-3-free also. Also have expiry dates of 3 days.

Yes, strange isn't it? Back when btc was up $50k or something. Where has the time gone.... and the price. I am kidding of course.
But with freebets you have accumulated thus far, they have an expiration date when you receive them of a couple of days.
Are the ones given in USDT different?
The ones I have received in the past from promotions are used right away so never really noticed.

It was an eventful Pizza day on the site and I am sure they did give out the 100mbtc drops.
It was just that nobody in the chat received them or they would of certainly posted about it.

From my memory I know you, Trofo and buwaytress are the forum members that have got the drops before,,, I know there are more and those early drops even people got 100 mbtc drops so it is always good to check in on those days. They seem to do 1 every Black Friday if I recall correctly,,, so that is like 2 drops a year.

Waiting for my turn to get up and not sleep for a chance  Grin
I got one drop but it wasn't 100 mBTC, I think it was 20 mBTC not so sure anymore. But it was when BTC was I think around 50k so good money however you look at it.

In this last promo I snatched a couple of free bets but nothing big. 2x 0.25 and 1x 0.5, think I lost all of them, as usual Smiley
Also was in on a few drops but nothing more than 20mbtc as well.
I remember when because of buwaytress saying "Thanks for the 1000 euros Sportsbet.io and all I had to do was listen to a bunch of english guys on the radio!". That is what they have as advertisements on the clubtalk radio inbetween matches and intermissions when the games are on.
Anyone can think how can we do to pass this time without the most popular sports like Football, NBA etc. I see Tennis but not so much to bet on.

E - sports i dont see, only F1 i see a lot but i dont bet in F1 because its so complicated you can lose for a engine fault or for a colision(also win for that).
Yes, there is an Esports discussion thread started awhile ago here:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.60189001

We talk about all sorts of them but I am more relevant when it comes to CS:GO, while there are quite a few who are into DOTA 2 and League of Legends.
That is where they shine!
See you there.
