live stream or escrow
Stop ban evading. A live stream wouldn't make it provably fair, as one, it isn't provable, and that they can tamper with the code of whatever site and make it pick a list of players that are their accounts.
Let me know what you find as we want to be as transparent as possible.
Sure. So firstly, while I assume the code picks a name from an list of participants, it isn't very hard to switch the names around so it picks a name that is one of your accounts. To combat this, either assign tickets in real time and add a page listing the usernames and ticket numbers of each person, or assign them like you do right now, but add a page numbering each ticket once it's been added. This ensures that the ticket placements aren't tampered with. Secondly, you don't provide the code used to draw the winners, or explain how to verify it. We need to trust your verifier that what you say is true, which isn't very hard to rig. All dice sites with provably fair tell you how to verify each bet, and there are often third party verifiers (DiceSites.com).
The point of provably fair is so that anyone can prove that the rolls were fair.
TL:DR; Be more transparent about who gets what ticket and how it is drawn. The main problem is lack of transparency.
I still think it's better for players to only have ONE ticket each.
Having the same person winning multiple prizes in the same draw only adds to more questions. I have seen draws elsewhere, where if the ticket is drawn, and the person wins a prize during that draw, he won't win any more prizes in the same draw, at least i think that is fair. I think nobody likes to see the same winner winning multiple prizes in the same draw.
During the Euro raffles, at least there were people who posted winning screenshots, i think we need to see some winners here. Considering we have quite a few members here who seem to be playing on the site, we should be seeing some winning posts, but it's been quiet so far.
Anyways, all the best to everyone playing, i've been betting since the start of Olympics too, also had 6 tickets, didn't win any this time round either. Maybe i'll have better luck the next few rounds..lol
One prize per person would be nice, but allowing more tickets seems fair for both the player and sportsbet, so they can make more money. You don't know that it is the same person though - based on TwitchySeal's analysis, there were 6? prizes from the Euro raffle given to users who's names begin with "Dar" (me being one of them). 350 mBTC was won by "Dar", and I only got 100 mBTC won. I know that there is a user here named DarkMatters69 who posted they won 50 mBTC.
I won 50 mBTC in the first olympics raffle.
