City and Barca got very easy groups. Arsenal should also pass quite easy.
Group H with Barcelona, Porto, Shakhtar and Antwerp is not so easy for me.
Barca is going to have hard time with Porto and third place will be decided between Shakhtar and Antwerp, they can even surprise two top clubs and take few points.
I think that Real Madrid have easier job in Group C to win the first place.

Yeah, it doesn’t get much more difficult than PSG, Dortmund and Milan but if you want to win the CL you have to beat the best so it’s up to the boys to really go for it.
Let me make and early prediction that Newcastle is going to progress in the next round.
Does anyone know the odds for that happening?

Newcastle fans with combined ticket must absolutely be feeling themselves very lucky this season.

PSG have no Messi or Neymar so they could be weaker, Dortmund sold Bellingham so it’s possible but it’s going to be tough.

Everyone will be eyeing Group F in the Champions League. This is an amazing thing in terms of Sportsbet.io's advertisement. If Milan and Newcastle qualify from the group together it wouldn't be a very big surprise for me.

There’s going to be some big teams coming to play @ St James Park. Definitely an exciting time if you’re a Newcastle fan. Even 2 years ago the thought of playing in the CL was only a dream but it’s now a reality.

Good looking group for Newcastle, they are going to play against PSG, Dortmund and Milan.
I saw all other groups and there are no easy matches in this stage, but I think Newcastle have good chances to qualify to next stage, PSG is not the same time from last season.
Manchester City maybe has the easiest job in their group but lets wait any see how everyone performs on pitch.

That Newcastle group is group of death for sure. Looking at it I am thinking PSG will say their goodbyes to Europe very early this season. Newcastle supporters will enjoy visiting these iconic stadiums for sure. I would love to hear from some of them what they think about the group? It is though as hell but so many good games guaranteed from the start should be a good thing for supporters.

Newcastle has a good chance to move to the next round. If they do, then it will be an awesome achievement for sportsbet.io team.

Who is watching US OPEN?
Murray ruined one of my good bet slip. I was too hopeful for him to win but it seems his age became his competition. Several times he was struggling after long rallies.

Newcastle are in for a very tough challenge in their UCL after returning.

Unfortunately, Liverpool doesn't have UCL this time. Cry

Yes. Defeat is not the end but the beginning of a victory. Newcastle's next challenge in matchweek 4 is Brighton & Hove Albion. I hope the game against Brighton is not the most difficult game.
After all, it's too early in the season to see a club playing better than last season, it's just that Newcastle needs to learn again from yesterday's defeat and improve their back line which looks easy to penetrate by Nunez and conceded the same two goals, moreover Newcastle will also playing in the UCL, of course they have to improve and overhaul everything because they will be divided into focus later not only on the EPL but also on other championships such as the EPL.

Liverpool at the start of this season was quite strong, even though they only played with 10 players, they were able to turn the situation around and were able to get out of the opponent's pressure. In my opinion, Liverpool played very well yesterday, almost all the players communicated perfectly and managed to score a goal. To be honest, in yesterday's match, both of them showed their game. which is very classy and I enjoyed watching it. even though I lost the bet  Grin
The thing about Newcastle being long is that they were playing against 10 men. If they played against 11 people maybe this would not be too much of a problem even though they played at home. Moreover, Liverpool at the beginning of this season did play well.
It's still early, and it does seem like Newcastle are not fully formed in some positions, especially in their defense.
They can prove themselves in the next match, where they can improve their performance and play better. It should be with the strength they have, they can do it.

Well to be fair Liverpool is a big club and losing to them doesn't mean that much. Newcastle is not a small club neither, since the takeover they have been doing fine. The only reason people expected Newcastle to win this game was the fact that Liverpool had a bad year last season and Newcastle had a great year so because of that everyone thought that they would be able to get a win.

But, the reality is that Liverpool is still the better team, just because they had a bad season doesn't mean that they will be doing the same thing as well. I hope that they could end up with a good result one way or another, Brighton is not a simple team to beat neither and I think it is going to be a bit difficult to handle it all.

Liverpool was without van Dijk for most of the match but they managed to turn result around in last ten minutes, but Newcastle had much more chances and shots on goal.
Defeat is not the end of the world and its time to prepare for next match against Brighton.
I also hope that Newcastle can win the match because their match statistics are superior to Liverpool but luck is not on the Magpies side.

I saw something unusual from what Newcastle showed in this match, or maybe it was Liverpool who could reduce everything that Newacaslte did.
When time entered the 30th minute and Liverpool had to lose a player at the back I thought it would be a victory for the home team, I was thinking realistically here, because they were already 1 goal ahead and they lost an important player. The second half had 10 minutes left and that made me confident that my prediction at half-time would come true. But football is not just about realistic things, it's full of surprises. and boom in the last 10 minutes Nunez became the person who denied Newcastle victory.

Bad luck for Newcastle to lose against Liverpool last weekend, and they lost everything in last moments of the match in stoppage time  Tongue
Shortly after I wrote in this thread hoping to document players celebrating a goal in front of the sportsbet.io posts on the sidelines, Anthony Gordon immediately did it after TA made a mistake.

A lot of nice specials and big big US Open which is surely highlight of the week. I would bet on one of them not reaching the final though, and that is Alcaraz for me who is a great player but has not matured to reach consistency and smartness of play like Djokovic. He burns his energy so much at the start.

How about womens side, anybody got tips?

Nice to see the sportsbet.io name at the Newcastle-Liverpool game, that is a high top name game and must have been watched by so many people around the world, easily millions of people saw it and the ad is there.

To be fair that is something I realized that before this game I did not checked who the ads were, and which companies and all that but now that it has happened I feel like I do find it more like subconscious thing and like you know them but not actively look at them since you are looking at the game, but you know every one of them anyway because while you are looking at the player, you are looking at that one as well. That's a thing and I hope that people will realize that this will be a big sponsorship.

The last Grand Slam of the year is back with G.O.A.Ts ready to rally their way towards victory 🙌

Who do you think will become the US Open champion?

Djokovic and Alcaraz are shown as the favourites in American Open this year. After Alcaraz managed to defeat Djokovic in the Wimbledon finale these two faced each other in the Cincinnati Masters finale again. This time the winner was Djokovic. The Cincinnati Masters finale has become one of the most enjoyable tennis matches I have watched in a long time. My favourite for the tournament championship is Djokovic. However if I'm to prefer a surprise I would prefer Hurkacz.
