Arsenal have started the season really well, I had a feeling Jesus would be a great signing. He was too good to be a constant sub at Man City. Less said about my team the better, season is young though, there will be many twists and turns. I don’t really pay much attention to the PL table until Xmas. It’s only really then that it begins to take shape.

Obviously if Man City get a big lead over everybody then it’s over as they’re too good to be caught if they’re left to run free. Will be an exciting season though, lots of highs & lows for all of us gambling. I had an accumulator both match weeks so far & sucked both times. I will keep going though, it’s what we do Cheesy

It's better to say that nobody expected such a great performance from Brentford, that scored four points in two matches with strong teams like Manchester and Leicester.
If they make one more good result against Fulham this weekend, than we can say they are in very good form and team chemistry is great.
They had very good results in friendly preparation matches so I am expecting this run to continue in next few rounds.

I did a parlay of some big games, and lost a bunch of them already, and it was parlay anyway, so just one loss was enough. United was something I did not see coming but also we should have guessed as much. I have to say the best thing about premier leauge being back is the fact that we are seeing amazing fun and unexpected results and drama all over again. Sure it is not full force on way, its only second week and I already lost half of my monthly amount and I aint even bad, its awesome. I love all the drama because its better than nothing and definitely a lot to talk about already, cant imagine how amazing it will be over time.

edit: And now Tuchel and Conte! I did not see that before, its very very amazing to see that they went against each other, we do not see managers being like that these days. I mean Liverpool and City are fighting for a title every year, both here and even in UCL, and we know that Pep and Klopp are either friends (they look like that) or at worst they just respect each other a lot and act very friendly. We do not see these type of Conte vs Tuchel stuff anymore at all! Love it!

Argeed, the LFC and Palace match looks like it'll be pretty lop-sided. Nottingham can be unpredictable, their match with West Ham might turn into a battle. The Chelsea/Tottenham match could go either way, so that one should be fun.

That was an amazing game. So many great moments, and so contentious all the way to the end, and beyond. Conte looked like he was in pain when Tuchel tugged his hand to draw him closer, then he was the one who got the red-card. The drama was funny. I wonder what Tuchel had to say...

That’s the problem with europa as well, the part before the group stage is just between teams who we do not know how they will fare. Like for the Fenerbahce example, they won 3-0 and that looked like they were a much better team, and they played very well, fairly good player and then what happened? They got a draw and that’s the risky thing, that’s a big problem.

I personally feel like whenever I play in these conference league or europa or even UCL when it’s not the group stages yet, that means that I would be gambling on the teams that are wildcards and have no idea how they will do. Sometimes they do fine, sometimes they do horrible and I never know which one they will be that night.

@notblock1 Southampton is not a reliable team, hence I feel that you might not win and Leeds can often spring surprises hence for me this match could end in a draw. Lastly Mitrovic has to perform in the premier league this season and then only will all the top 6 teams chase him, and I guess none of would be surprised if he was sold for up to $80 million next season provided he performs well.
