^ Well done to big ETH player, I actually took the same handicap on a bet, unfortunately, with Real Madrid also on the ticket haha and at far less impressive wager size.

^^Yeah LFC_Bitcoin, I'd love for Real to be in the final purely for selfish reasons. I think it'd be equally hard to win against either them or City. On the plus side, we'd be the underdogs (again) against City, and that's really how we'd prefer to operate.

Dominant performance from Liveprool and win against Villareal in Champions League, and I am confident we are going to see them in final this season.
I would like to see Real Madrid as their opponent, so we can avoid having final from clubs in premier league, and we just had Man City playing two times in April, in Fa Cup and Premier League.

I’d like to see Real Madrid make the final too, the thought of losing to Man City is unbearable. I do think Man City will advance though, I just have to hope that Klopp’s genius wins it for us.

I remember some time ago getting quite nauseous from watching too many El Clasico in a short periods, and by that time also, while being the two best teams in La Liga, they probably weren't exactly the two best in Europe, so the games began to get sluggish and safe.

So yeah, City-Liverpool have been 2-2, 2-2, 3-2 this season, but if they meet in the CL final, it's going to be a tight, testy affair. Too much at stake for either side.

Real-Liverpool, please.

It is not my expertise either, but considering the size of the sponsorships so far, and combining that with the fact that Southampton is in the same league (I have no idea when the sponsorship ends) we are looking at a bit of a hard situation for sportsbet.io to handle this. Could they afford it? I have no idea, I do not know their financials, and I do not know if LFC will keep on being a great team for the next many years, they are not like Southampton who is out of sponsorship, they are Liverpool and they may win UCL this year so they will look at many years contract. I am pretty sure even if they could afford it, it would be too huge and they would be leveraged heavily and would risk it all for just one sponsorship. Does it worth it? I would say it wouldn't, it's a big one but risking all of the business into one deal would be a bad deal.

This is a big question mark to be honest. Yes Liverpool is huge huge huge "company" right now, anyone who has sponsored them must have made that money back by tenfold, because Liverpool has been great. But lets assume you make a deal worth 70 million per year for the next 5 years, then salah leaves without signing a new contract, and mane does the same after a while or gets sold, and then alisson leaves, then VVD is sold. What happens then? I mean is there a 100% guarantee that they will stay, they "probably" will stay but theoretically there is no guarantee about that at all.

Liverpool could end up 8th in the league by the time your last season of contract finishes, who knows? It is a huge risk for such a huge sum of money. Sportsbet.io is doing much better with mid to bottom level teams.
Not my expertise and I don't pretend to know what the math behind the sponsorship deals is. Just saying that Liverpool will maybe end up with crypto sponsor which is huge for crypto in general. I am sure Sportsbet has their math done and they have done a lot already with their sponsorships for the whole crypto/gambling scene. Quite sure Liverpool will keep their main players for a couple more seasons.

Hopefully we hear the news about Sportsbet who will negotiate on this offer even though the offer is quite high but this is the first English league club with the first crypto sponsor, other clubs are also working with other crypto but not the main sponsor, just imagine if Sportsbet was in Liverpool shirt looks good doesn't it. Lol I was just imagining about it.  Grin Grin
Sportsbet is the sponsor of Southampton this season and Arsenal betting partner or something like that. Stake is sponsor of Watford and Sportsbet was Watford sponsor last season. So Liverpool is not first by any means. Most expensive so far probably but not first.

Crypto.com is quite strong in Serie A but I am not sure exactly what they are sponsoring. Crypto is spreading on football turfs which is again good for all of us.

I am hearing on twitter that next deal for Liverpool should be around 70M, which is a lot but Liverpool is huge brand and they have an army of loyal supporters which will not change clubs just because they have a bad season. After all Liverpool was nowhere near the top before this last surge and I think they were still very attractive for sponsorships.

I am also hearing rumors that crypto related company offered those 70M so it will be good for bitcoin whatever happens. Don't know if Sportsbet is involved or at least tried negotiating but whatever happens, we know Sportsbet was first to break the ice Smiley

Amazing night in Champions League with seven goals!
I expected to see over 2.5 goals, and I know Benzema and some other players are in great form now, but this was true goal fest.
More important is that second match in Madrid will be very interesting to watch and Real have chance to win in front of their fans.

Jesus, knowing there would be plenty of goals and missing 6.5 bet with just 1 goal is horrible. Like if it was 2.5 goals and it was 2 goals then it would be normal and I would understand it, but at the end of the day it's unlucky and there is nothing he could do. Maybe he could have cashed out early when he saw that the bet was already huge.

I never really wagered this much, my biggest was 8 games once and I lost that very horribly, like the very last game just like this where Bayern out of all teams lost, it was a horrible feeling. All in all sportsbet.io has a lot of people who wager a bit less and earn a huge amount, we keep seeing that all the time.

Yo Sportsbet, according to David Ornstein, Liverpool is open to having a crypto shirt sponsor.
Their current deal with Standard Chartered is expiring in the summer of 2023 and is worth around 40 mil. pounds yearly. The next one will have to be bigger though.

What are you waiting for? Grin
Considering the current Watford deal is closer to like 6-10 million range, I am pretty sure that they would need like 4x more to get that type of deal, lol. I mean they could very well just offer like 25% of the whole business, as an offer, which I believe the remaining 75% will worth more than the 100% they currently have which is not a bad decision.

But, there is definitely some sort of law that would prevent that, which team could even have ownership over a place that could make them richer by just losing a game lol. At the end of the day, whoever picks that up, will end up taking a huge risk. Just because they have been good so far, there is no guarantee they will still be awesome in the next 5 years.

That would be so cool for so many of you Liverpool fans. In that case allow me to say I bet Spurs is also open to sponsorship, I mean I am pretty much used to seeing AIA already and I think it is a big longterm deal but there is always a bit of noise about them in the current condition of climate discussions so I wonder if they would consider a different move too.

It does make me think about what makes a club choose a sponsor these days, is it anymore identity or not really? I thought United always has American companies because of the owners but then Liverpool does not have American companies on the shirt.

Honestly, it is not a "shock" perse. The premier league is filled with betting sponsors all around, maybe there are a few that isn't betting, but if you check like the first 2 to 3 leagues, it's mostly full of sportsbooks. So to have crypto world's biggest sportsbook end up having a premier league sponsorship is expected at this stage. Not that it would be like a terrible tragedy if they didn't, I would understand it if it's not bringing good money, like if the return doesn't justify it then they can stop it. But if it is profitable and good reputation stuff, then sportsbet.io is definitely big enough to afford it for sure. Not only do they sponsor Southampton, but they started this whole premier league + crypto combination with Watford as the first-ever one as well.

We'll see the crypto shirts in this Premier League top-flight team exhilarating isn't it increasingly clear that crypto has now entered the big football sponsorship business happy to hear this.

Although this is still under consideration but it will likely happen as the main sponsor, this is cool mate.
