Looks like we lost the 3.40 odds special man, Barcelona and Juventus did really well annihilating their opposition but Dortmund just couldn't get that one more goal necessary to win. Haaland could've leveled the score up if he could play, but he can't because of a hamstring injury. Hope he recovers from it soon. I didn't take the 26 odds special, didn't think so many games could hit at once.
That specials was going so well until Dortmund lost the lead and couldn't get it back. Dortmund odds (to win) were around 1.61. When Haaland's injury was confirmed earlier this evening, the odds immediately rose above 2+
. There and then, I just knew they can't deliver. I lost the specials too but quite happy I won a small multi bet with Dortmund over 1.5 total goals. Either way, It was a good game.
Off to check out tomorrow's Europa league markets. I hope y'all slips ticked green?
Dortmund against Lazio is a match that Dortmund should normally be able to win. Especially when they play at home. If Haaland is not in shape, or does not make the chances, it will be a difficult story.
According to the score table, Dortmund has already progressed to the next round, so it was not a disaster.
Haaland is a marvelous player and Dortmund should feel lucky to have him, however at the end of the day Haaland is way too good to let Dortmund keep him forever. It could be 50, it could be 100, or it could be 200 million euro but eventually one day Haaland will go to a major major team. I know that finances doesn't look good enough to actually pay a huge amount to Haaland right now for PSG but if they manage to get him, can you imagine a trio of Neymar, Mbappe and Haaland together?
Now that would be something special to see. Aside from that I am sure there will be other teams who will try to get him and pay a lot. Maybe a Dybala Ronaldo and Haaland trio ? Not like Ronaldo will retire soon by the looks of it. So, Dortmund has to figure out a way to get better without Haaland as well and lack of him shouldn't mean bad results right away.
