AD aggravated his right heel injury during Game 5 on Friday, and while he still finished with 28 points, he looked like more of a decoy down the stretch as it appeared to start really bothering him. He was held to just six points on 1-of-2 shooting (4-of-4 from the stripe) during the fourth quarter, so he'll need to be more aggressive, despite the pain, on Sunday. According to a source of Dave McMenamin, AD's heel injury is "painful" but "he said he can tolerate it." Expect another few updates leading up to Sunday's tip.
Still more time, AD can rest so he can be 100% in game 6 which they need to consider a do or die game, otherwise they will bear all the pressure in game 7.
First of all I know we expect a lot from AD, specially on last minutes but "just 6 points on 4th quarter" averages to 24 points a game, 4 quarters with each 6 points is 24 points, that is not bad if you ask me, and that was after he reinjured his heel, so it is obvious that dude was in pain while scoring that 6 points.
Now he is out in the bubble and doctors and so forth all working to heal him, dude would have the best care in the world and when he comes back on the 6th game he would be a lot better because he had the time to get a treatment for it, during the game you can't get a treatment specially to a place as difficult to fix as heel, but when the game is over getting that treatment until next game would make it like a brand new heel and he will definitely be alright to play.
