A million-dollar price won't happen.
Awareness and promoting the use of bitcoin will result in a much slower price movement in the future (let's say a great number of people uses) since it will now be used as a currency, just like the normal fiat transaction, and not for investment purposes.
Going back to Sportsbet, they really contribute to spreading the awareness about bitcoin and hope it attracts new crypto-players (although I don't see yet those bitcoin flashes in the most-watched leagues). The more bitcoin that will be circulating in the crypto-gambling will result in a much stronger industry.
A million dollar price could technically-speaking happen. I mean don't get me wrong it is close to impossible as it gets however it is not 100% impossible. That would mean that bitcoin general market cap would be around 19 trillion dollars, which is really bigger than most stock markets in the world, so I am assuming the whole stock market including all the companies in that stock markets worth to be lesser than just bitcoin market cap alone is something unlikely.
However path to that is definitely made with moves like sportsbet does, with Watford last year and adding Southampton this year, we are talking about actually amazing awareness created for bitcoin, not saying that will cause it to be a million dollars, no way, but it is at least helping instead of hurting which is what matters.
. That boost would allow us to gamble a lot more. Do not have to make it 1 night thing, you could have games from 2-3 nights which would make it 10 game or even more if you want to, that would be lovely.
