Congrats to Leeds on joining us for next season and becoming Champions due to Brentford losing:

16 years out of the PL. I wonder what Bielsa can do with them in the top tier. They're going to struggle for sure but maybe they can attract some decent players now with their PL money. Staying in the PL will be a big achievement I think.
Under Bielsa, Leeds was one of the most interesting teams in Championship and I really wanted to see them in EPL finally. I don't believe that they are going to repeat what Norwich did - relegate back to Championship just after one season.
Just one round remaining in Chamiponship and then playoff will be played between 3rd-6th teams. Personally it would be interesting to see Notthingam Forest in EPL.

Thanks for the info guys, yeah, Wembley seems to be it but I still took the Arsenal bet at almost 9/1 boosted odds anyway. I mean, City should win this comfortably but I guess I like throwing away beer money.
Congrats, very nice win. Arsenal was really solid tonight. Well, for Arsenal, FA cup is only way to get to UEFA  Europa league competitions for next season.

Didn't even remember the round I got 14.5 points, I think I did a lot worse this season than last, but don't forget most of us are still in for a shout in Champs League, though with one-legged affairs now I think those in the winning spots will breathe easier;)

Considering a Burnley bet at half time now, live bet not accepting any of mine on mobile, that red card's got to hurt Norwich, right? Edit. Goddamn it they scored HA!

we have two more rounds to predict and this season will end
I had a good movement upwards, the last few rounds I jumped 5 positions, but still no chance for the top of course

Today I'm taking 0:2 on Norwich vs. Burnley, my opinion is that the host will lose this and the remaining two matches also

I went with 0-0 and was the only user who did so. Two others went for a draw but at 1-1. Norwhich are a man down but I doubt they'll hold onto the point. They're just playing for pride at this point but with ten men they're going to struggle.

Nice work @ big_daddy  Smiley
Some amazing rounds there! To get over 15 is very impressive ,but to get over 20 - jeez - total respect for hilariousandco!!
I won’t even bother commenting on my highest round - doh !
Anyway 2 rounds left and good luck all !!

Well everyone is still in with a shot of a consolation prize. That's the beauty of them as there's still something to play for so might as well try win your money back at least.

^  The remainder of the season went sooo fast.  I can't believe it's all gonna be over next week.  Sad

I hope we could start seeing things get back to normal some time next season...  Like real people making real crowd noises.  Lol.

I almost didn't remember that the FA cup semis are on tonight, anyone fancy Arsenal staging a follow-up victory? They won't be so lucky to get 2 mistakes from City, since City wants to win this one badly, I wonder if the better tactic is to try and pressure the Blues' backline instead? People forgot that used to work;)

The match is at Emirates isn't it? Not online properly so can't quite tell. City have had a terrible time on the road.

Both semi finals are still being played @ Wembley - http://www.thefa.com/news/2020/jun/25/emirates-fa-cup-semi-final-draw-details-250620

Arsenal beat Liverpool but Liverpool are on the beach (mentally) since becoming champions. I think City will win comfortably. The other game will be a lot closer - Chelsea vs Man Utd.

I believe this one is played on neutral ground - Wembly, not 100% sure since all the bookies list Arsenal as the home team but I am quite sure I read somewhere that this should be neutral ground. Can't find the link at the moment and google search is a bit thrown since it is called Emirates FA cup this season.

Arsenal was good in the last few games and I really hope they will have the the guts too attack the City. As you said City looked comical in defense if opposition manages to do enough attacking pressure. I have a big bet on both to score @1.76, seems like really good odds for the game I expect both teams to attack. It is not like either of the teams can defend properly. This bet can fail only if Arsenal breaks apart and maybe gets a red card or two in the process.
Semi Final is surely going to be played in neutral place as its happening for very long time last three matches of FA Cup mostly played neutral stadium https://www.bbc.com/sport/live/football/53257143
Both teams to score is very good bet as Arsenal is not bad at all and they can give some tough time to opponents in this game.

Hey guys, I have been talking with my buddy big_daddy and we decided that we would like to play Serie A predictor next season as well. I have made a thread to see if there is enough interest, drop by if you are interested.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5262677.new#new

Good luck. Nice to see more people doing them. I'll be opening the sign-up thread for the 2020/21 PL league soon so look out for that. Is everyone wanting to play again? Hopefully we don't get many drop outs as I'd like the pools to grow year by year and the prize pots get bigger and bigger. If anyone knows anybody who would want to sponsor the pool let them know. They can promote anything. First season was sponsored by Cloudbet but this one was BitcoinNews.com so anyone can advertise.

@hilarious, really nice catch on that acca, I'd definitely have gone for Arsenal 1X had I been more objective. Liverpool clearly aren't as motivated to break records as they are to try and put some swagger into their game (judging from Alisson and VVD playing haha).

It was a risky one but I liked the odds and covered my grounds with the last result so I couldn't lose if the first two games came in and luckily they did.

I'll take a look, I actually have been paying a lot more attention to serie A and La Liga than in seasons long but maybe because I now actually live in Europe it feels easier to follow the news (can't explain it). Also, I'm probably overcompensating psychologically in the past 3/4 months because maybe am growing older and following more players from EPL who then ply their trade abroad.

I mean, I've even been following Dutch football!

Yeah, I’d advise anybody against betting on Liverpool to win throughout the rest of this season. They’re effectively in pre season now for the next season. Their intensity & motivation isn’t there as it was pre lockdown. They shouldn’t be like this but I kind of understand why.

Avoid betting Liverpool ML.

I just check pool just 2 members favouring Arsenal and I was one of them 3 was on draw its really shocking for me because after Manchester City vs Liverpool I was feeling many will try to select Arsenal instead of Liverpool but no so another shocking day ends now heads up for tomorrow.

I thought Liverpool would struggle hence why I went for the 1-1 draw. I don't trust either team right now. Arsenal are all over the place and Liverpool seem to be getting sleepy and complacent with not much to play for. They can't beat the PL points record now either as they would have had to have won their last three games to do so and there's only two left for them now. I won on my three fold though after putting money on all outcomes of the final game and the other two had already come in:

A draw would have been better though as I could have done with the points on the pool. A Liverpool win would have just got me my money back plus a couple of quid on top but I put that on just in case.

2019 was the year for Liverpool. Late/Injury time goals turned many of their draws/defeats into wins/draws. Points Table doesn't tell the whole story, Liverpool won many games with one goal difference.

But finally good old dream is finished, back to reality! Early Champions League exit, continuous bad streak in PL in 2020,  FA Cup exit. Everything point towards one thing: next season gonna be very close. In my views first four next season will be: Man City, Liverpool, Man Utd and Tottenham in no specific order followed by Chelsea, Wolves and Arsenal. Anyone among City, Pool, United or Spurs can win the league next season!

What a way to bounce back from that pathetic defeat in the london derby. Good job, gunners...How much was an Arsenal win paying? did anyone check the odds?

well, good thing about this upset is that no one saw it comi....wait, 2 users predicted a 2-1 win for Arsenal in our pool!?? wut?  Grin
When the match starts odds was @4.70 and after first goal from Mane odds suddenly jumps and touch @11 but I have no heart to do any thing with these figures even I was sure something going to happen today which happen. Shocked

Holy..  Is anybody else watching this rn?  Arteta and his boy at Arsenal mad.  Grin  I def didn't expect this.

And it feels like it's gonna be another weird match week.  Those players are prolly fatigued af.

Good match so far, hopefully second half will be as interesting as first. Arsenal really looked good today and they are even playing without Auba. Have a feeling we will have more goals in this one so enough halftime writing and back to the game Smiley

Had both to score on this game for high stake so now I can just enjoy and crack open another cold beer.
