rdbase just signed up so that's 30 users now. If anyone's signature is free and they want to help promote the pool maybe consider advertising it. Here's my basic one if anyone wants to use it (or create your own):

Sign up for the shirt. I think this year's pool is too good not to join. A free shirt, chance to win a $50 bet every week and some huge prizes for the winner. I'm really surprised we don't have more users to be honest. I was expecting between 40-50, though it's a good thing for the current players as there's more chance to win. Maybe they'll be a mad rush of players signing up before the start.
Keep spreading the word anyway. If we get more than 34 users I can add some more prizes maybe for the highest scorers.

I won't partecipate to this one, but I must admit that just the shirt is worth the enrollment fee... good luck to everybody, and I hope to be present in the next round

A week to go now guys. 28 people have signed up so lets try get that to 30 before Monday. A few users have promised to pay so we should hit 30 users at least but we need 34 to give the prizes I stated in the op. If we don't hit at least 30 I'll probably have to get rid of a couple of the eight and ninth place pay outs. Spread the word and lets try to get 34 users before Saturday.

You’ll be the 23rd player I think, we could do with another 7 or something to make a nice round number of 30.
There's 27 paid so far I think. A handful of people have yet to join via superbru.

It was and still likely is a Watford shirt as from what I understood Sportsbet have a surplus of them, but I'll get confirmation before the season starts. Either way maybe sportsbet will throw in some of the new Watford or Southampton shirts for some of the winners but don't quote me on that.

For now, we don't know if one person will be awarded, ten or all of thirty pool participants. but it will certainly be interesting

Nope, the kit is for every player that pays the entry fee. I'm quoting it here from the OP:
In addition to the prizes above Sportsbet are also offering a free Watford shirt to every player who signs up (assuming you want one and subject to stock). They will also be offering a $50 free bet to every 'yellow cap' of the weekly round which is the user that gets the most points in that week. Finally, the best prize they're offering is one lucky player will be in with the chance to win an all expenses paid trip to a football game of their choice*
The only thing left to check is whether we can pick the Southampton kit instead because they did not have that sponsorship arranged when hillariousandco spoke with them about the rewards.
Basically, the kit alone is worth the buy-in so I'm really surprised we do not have 50+ players already.

you are very impatient Because there's two people to be announced. jeremypwr hasn't paid yet but said he will. Don't really want to spam people with messages, especially if they're not interested. I'm sure most would assume the pool was continuing and would know where to find it if they were interested.
