Seeing our team name at the bottom of the standings is a nice motivation for a bounce back and hopefully, my luck against former Div 1 teams is still there.

It was an interesting first round in BSFL for sure. There was quite a few questions that gathered a lot of interest around them. I know I would never have watched 800m freestyle for women if there wasn't BSFL.

That really was a crazy game to be honest it came down to wire, and the Odds went against me, lol. You had an amazing start and I didn't even picture myself getting that close, and with last question a draw was already out of the question there has to be a winner since we went on the opposite side of Alcaraz vs Djokovic.

To add to what everyone had said, this really is the be start to the BSFL since inception going by how the question went, that could be as result of some atypical questions, but kudos to the Trofo and cryptofrka for the question, I believe the spent more time on analyzing and setting those questions than they did with negotiating for the season to happen Cheesy

I calculated it correctly for the freebet and LMS but for some reason painted both red and then didn't calculate it in the end result.

Who wrote question 9? Water polo final and the handball final are both played on Sunday and not on Monday😁 It is actually very rare that finals are played on a Monday, it actually applies to almost all sports😁 But anyway It does not matter for our question😁

I'm guilty as I couldn't make an objective decision on the Fenerbahçe question. I'm feeling myself very bad for this season. It is very early to talk about this. I've never assumed wrong in BSFL before. I've definitely done Forced Errors (where I somehow misread something) but I think the rules have always been clear over the seasons on what the assumption is, if not specified.

I can't complain. UCL is the same, despite a far simpler representation of results, with old rules in OP or in the submission sheet on Page 1, people still ask about OT Tongue

Also, if not specified, Cro2 cheats. Hot tip.

Nice of you to point out to this great milestone. BSFL really kicked into the gear even better than we hoped for. Soon we will get 10k replies in the thread as well. This will be the season for milestones it seems.

If only Ledecky didn't win another gold medal... But I must admit it wasn't easy to get that draw too. All thanks to the 9th question.

I have checked the questions for Round 2 now. Finally we have more football questions thanks to the start of the new season. If I fail in Olympics questions maybe they can save me.

I will have to do some research about Noah Lyles and waterpolo though. Grin

Thanks for adding the rule that it's clear to everyone, it's not meant to be discriminatory or hostile to women, but for me it was always clear anyway that the sports (if it wasn't explicitly mentioned) meant men's sports.

But now it should be clear to everyone or they haven't read the page with the rules, my first round was modest, maybe my next one will be better and thanks for the free VAR, but I don't know if I'll use it yet.

Yep, agreed, BSFL is becoming bigger and bigger and it's only 2 of us, so there are occasional gaps that we still need to fill/are sometimes lazy to fill due to other more important work waiting for us.

The problem is nobody is reading the OP on a regular basis. We update it every week with results and maybe every few weeks with some minor rules like these that you just mentioned.
