Yeah, a win by aggregate. They pulled out a last minute trick like Sergio Ramos does for Real Madrid in the plus minutes when he played in that team. Only that, it was in the extra time with this one. Metz did great in holding them that long but, having to conceive with barely 4 minutes on the clock to a penalty shootout, lays waste all that effort from the 6th minute of regular time.
They impressed me but, sold the game cheaply at last.

I dont really mind that they win but the whole game wasnt really exciting, well atleast for me. I'd totally love Bayern Munich vs Madrid though, those game was way better as the final. It could have been better but when Vini scored the 2nd goal, it kinda ensure that they were going to win it and Dortmund was kinda losing the motivation to score. Things could have been better for the last 10 minutes if the score was still 0-1

Boring finals; more boring to see Real Madrid again win the Champions League.


Atalanta would have been a better opponent against Real Madrid; Dortmund players could not maintain their concentration all through. They were the better team in the first half; they stayed compact and disciplined, but in the second half, Real Madrid's voodoo took over, and they found a way to win.

They have one goal and one extra player to maintain the advantage they have now on aggregate; I do not think they will lose this to Metz with the little time left in the game.

Looking at current log of 3B just shows how  notorious lower leagues can be with WO, fewer players but we still get more walkovers than other larger leagues, and seeing how the top guys are getting free points from walkovers shows how bad not committing to the the game can take the fun out of the competition , I know we have lives away from the forum but let's keep the competition fun and alive by committing not to miss submissions. Am not so sure they fit the bill for league 1 next season. Not with how they’ve handled the game this far, although it doesn’t entirely depend on just one game but, with such an early red card from a VAR review, Metz is already one man down, you would expect St. Etienne to capitalize on this and be the dominant side in the game but, they go ahead to conceive two goals of which one was a penalty.
They managed to get a goal before the second half but, second half is in play now, I’ll like to see how they leverage the red card situation to their advantage.

I wasn’t going to take any bets on the UCL finals, I think my best prediction was going to be a both team score but wait, it’s the UCL finals where both teams are going to play it safe, trying not to conceive any early goals, try to ware the other team out with one half only to attack in the second and that was what happened. It’s a card Dortmund shouldn’t have played against Real Madrid.
I was going to give them a first half result or at least for Real Madrid to have a goal in first half as they’ve always done with almost some consistency but, it’s the UCL final, you’ve got to hope for some change in the strategy. Columbus Crew would be having their talisman Cucho Hernandez back in their starting line, after what was some disciplinary actions form the coach to omit him for the squad for a few games, so maybe they can indeed pull this off. Yeah, it's incredible, really. I think that the last CL final they lost was against Liverpool in 1981.

Classic Real Madrid CL win in the end. They were suffering a lot, Dortmund missed some solid chances and then they score almost from nothing. At this point nobody thinks it is coincidence or luck, CL is just a game played by whole Europe where Real always wins

Both of us couldn't predict the result of the 3rd question, lol. But I was really nervous in the last minutes of the Al-Hilal - Al-Nassr match.    If that goal didn't come in the last moments then you were going to win on this question. Real Madrid - Dortmund match is still going on. We both still have a chance on that question.    When it comes to the tennis question I guess there is a tie on that one after the recent results if I'm not wrong.
