The only way this works is to combine Divisions 3a and 3b since both divisions provide two automatic promotion spots and two playoff spots, but that would mean 24 teams in one division, and the only way this works is to play double fixtures every weekend, similar to the English Championship League format. Make it three automatic promotional spots and one playoff. We normally have doubles fixtures in cup games, so this will work.

It's obvious nobody wants to waste their time in Division 3 with little to nothing to achieve for 3-4 months of research. We already made division 2 something closer to division 1, I think it long overdue to make division 3 something closer to division 2 and creates division 4 if needs be for newcomers.

It’s being me trying to stay on my toes after haven’t tasted the waters and how rough it was. Mehn, this isn’t as easy as it looks with the many need to know and rediscover about the game but, it’s fun having to try and congratulations to the lots of you that have been getting along with this just fine.
1-2 weeks break might seem like a long time but, it’s funny how time flies as we could be there without even knowing and it gives persons like me time to consider my options and how am coming into the league.
Just hope I don’t forget though, of course my TG bot is there to update me, hope I don’t pass.

Yeah, I'm already getting the shivers in my spine and tremors in my hands. Feels like such a gargantuan effort just to avoid relegation but I see BSFL as a patience game anyway. As long as I earn enough to pay my fee next season (which is fairly easy to do, just don't get relegated haha) I'm happy. The freebet chances, and the chance for prize spots every 4/5 months, plus cups, that's plenty reason to stay on, so I hope we also get fresh blood to replace those who're leaving us.

Appreciate if you can miss a submission next season when we meet. For old times sake, you know.

You know we had 3 guaranteed and 4th place play offs in all the seasons. Or even more. This season we had 4 direct places entering div 2. Problem is it is seperated in A & B and we have playoffs to involve more players. We are thinking of expanding to 18 teams in near future so there should be more places in season 6. Problem is, we need few more new players that will take competition seriously to make it work.

Maybe a sort of wild card would make sense like buwaytress suggested, but it's going to be tough to implement while keeping it generally fair for everyone, but I suppose a more strict rule would help and so if another player drops out of a division due to inactivity we should still have the usual amount of players get relegated while that extra spot should be up for grabs for someone from a the next division, and maybe even with the evil fee, a player should only be guaranteed to get relegated to the next division too, while without the evil fee a player should have to start all over from the least division possible. Speaking of strict rules to ensure some higher level of seriousness.

Focus more on Cup matches and I think Last Man Standing is coming to BSFL next season, that is more chances for everyone.
Maybe Cup winners could play some playoff promotion for higher division in future.
