I didn't even flinch when I picked both Argentina and Brazil, it's not as though my situation would have been better if Brazil had won anyways, since I missed the first two questions which B1g4udge got both correctly, now I'm hanging by a thread.

I'm lucky that this was not a league round because I don't think I would have escaped falling in the LMS, now it's time to get over the BSFL international break and prepare for league resumption.

That is a nice place to be. Resting casually and watching other guys compete. I think that would have be my favorite thing if I was a pro tennis player. You win your match, take a shower and short recuperation and then you watch the match between your opponents to make tactics all the way hoping they will and up playing it till tie break of 5th set Cool

Also don't know my opponent yet but I hope it will be ILuckyGuyI, looking at their respective answers I feel like I would have much easier time in Round 2 against him than against Vivekdhyani1.

Another Alfaro masterclass, to stop Brazil, he amde it with Costa Rica in the last American Cup and he do it again with this weak Paraguay, he is a master in defensive play and in national teams his style is more powerfull. He make a super Ecuador in the apst a good Costa Rica for a few games and now seems like this PAraguay is gonna be again a super hard to bite bone.

It will be against @imarios or @Saint-loup, currently @Saint-loup is 1 goal ahead but in the remaining 2 questions they have different answers, so there's still a possibility that your opponent will be @imarios. Many lost at the start because of Argentina & Brazil, IDK what happened there that made it difficult for them to win, even though the bookies clearly favored them. That's ok for Argentina, I think I can accept it considering Colombia played quite well, but not for Brazil, they had it all there to dominate the match, but they couldn't make it a sure win. Congrats @Rikafip.

Me too, this was why I went with Real Madrid to win this time, if Real Sociedad had a straight option (not too lose) no matter the scoreline, I would have gone for it, but the risk of going for them with the goal variable playing a part was too much of a risk.

Yeah, who would have thought that both Brasil and Argentina will lose their games. I was really on the edge whether to choose Paraguay not to lose or go with Brasil. Most of the times I like to go with a choice that gives me win with more different outcomes (like XY not to lose), but it's Brasil so I went with them winning.

Columbia managed to win Argentina which means I'm 1-1 against VashaUdacha777. I counted only seven teams guessing the correct outcome so congrats to those that took a risk and it payed off. Too bad for me that my opponent was one of those who took the risk. I don't follow south American nations, but I didn't know that Columbia has what it takes to win over Argentina who is the world champion from the last World Cup.
