This is a very cool idea. Inwws actually thinking about solar power for my house the other day. Then I though a coin based on solar power could be nice but how to implement it . Then I found this thread. Smiley

since you don't need 44 btc instead 28 will the price of the coin adjust?

It definitely could.. there have been some bounty ideas bounced around, so those coins would be removed from the ICO pool.

How about this... First 10 unique wallets get 10,000 SPP?
Send me a PM (once you're connected) with your address.
This reward is to help establish connections to the network.

EDIT: COMPLETED!!!!

The incentives list will have a couple more items on it as well.. There are other listed coins that offer their coins based on the output of the solar panel system!

Great news everyone!  44 BTC is no longer needed to fully fund the project.. We're now down to 28 BTC!  That certainly makes things a LOT easier!

Where did the other btc come from. I don't see one real investor on this thread for the looks of it.

The federal government has tax incentives that will be issued, and the utility company also offers annual bonus incentives.

And so far there was an early investor that has contributed 2 BTC.

Have you already collected the incentives?

At tax time.

Why don't you need 44 BTC now? How 28 BTC is enough for you? I think you're not using any escrow facilities to collect ICO. Also SPP is not visible to much more people. What made you think to reduce your ICO fund needs?

No escrow services are being used for a couple different reasons:
1.) Other coins have recently successfully launched using this method.
2.) C-Cex could host an ICO, but that costs 4 BTC to do.  We're not opposed to it, but we'd have to raise an additional 4 BTC.  Also, with that the coin would be listed on the market and prone to pump and dumps. And we don't want people to be calling fowl, and upset with us.  Once there is more of a community, and they WANT to be on an exchange... then.. OK.

Maybe they feel their goal was too high or maybe they already found some outside investment. I asked because I'd like to know and I'm still waiting like you are.

5% first year? then increas. but other POS coin first year very high, then decreas.
next year 7% is the coin must keep in wallet more than one year or from the seconde year the pos profit is 7%?

That is correct.  If you hold the coins in your wallet, the 2nd year will see 7% interest.

There weren't any coins set aside for bounties, however...
During the testing of the wallet and chain there were 8,496 coins that were minted. (Continuing to go up until more connections are established and coins are distributed)

We could definitely use those!

Edit: In case anyone is wondering.. The main wallet has a reserve balance of 40,000,000 so only 2 million are staking currently.

ico coin? what is the price

Read ANN page again. The price of one SPP is mentioned there. It is 100 sats per SPP. A .1 BTC will get you 100000 SPP. I have no +- comments now for this project. Just watching.
