I am curious about bitcoin, because until today bitcoin still exist. even its value, makes bitcoin become crypto king. what is the secret behind bitcoin success ?and if spreading of bitcoin can be stopped, who is the most benefited and disadvantaged ?
If we stop spreading information about bitcoins, then more people will not come to know about bitcoins. In such a situation, only the current investors will be involved with bitcoin transactions. Since, more bitcoins are being every day, there will be less demand for this.
I think prices will become stagnant in this case or even decline in worst case. May be media will be benefited and they will show reports on how they were correct about bitcoin being a bubble.

benefits are decentralization and access. disadvantages is that it's hard to grasp for newcomers/old people. People will have time to understand the tech in time and hop in
Bitcoin now still exists now because still more people hold bitcoin and many investors buy bitcoin for their investment. Bitcoin demand and supply still high in the world, so bitcoin hard to stopped. Bitcoin help unemployed to get the job and get money to paid their bills.

I think many people in the world want financial that is not regulated by the institution. the world's currency is set by the institution. whereas bitcoin has freedom of rules. other than that bitcoin has a transaction speed than fiat currency that many requirements. and also you are free to have any bitcoin without rules.

the secret of bitcoin is you can make money from bitcoin right now and you can use bitcoin as your long-term investment too. besides that, if there are many countries accepting bitcoin then we have a big chance to see bitcoin in everywhere. and if the spreading of bitcoin is stopped then I think at that time, bitcoin is already famous and every people use bitcoin. the most benefited will be people which still holding their bitcoin and the disadvantaged is maybe for people which don't have any bitcoin at all so they cannot use bitcoin like other people.

Actually at the moment the great popularity of bitcoin is due more than anything to the fame that many fraudsters give it as a scheme to make many investors rich by investing little money, quickly and effortlessly. Personally I think there are more advantageous cryptocurrencies than bitcoin, but none is more popular.

Its already spread so if ever it will be stopped, the disadvantage goes to the people who doesn't have an idea that bitcoin exists.
Just like any other products that exist, Bitcoin is almost like those high-end products where people used to patronize it due to its famousness. I think other crypto currencies offers the same as what Bitcoin offers but since Bitcoin has made its name already more would like to invest and go for it.

I think that the people who mined bitcoins at the early times are the most disadvantaged, because it seems that they lost their private keys and the access to their Bitcoin-wallets. The beneficiaries are the people who bought BTC when its price was low and sold bitcoins for big money.

If you stop spreading awareness about bitcoins following things will happen:
1) This will mean that those who have not invested in bitcoins till now will never know about bitcoins. New investors will not join and thus the demand will be reduced even if new bitcoins keep getting mined. Prices will start declining then.
2) Alt coins may be benefited by this. But only that coins will be benefited who have a good marketing plan. They will have to project themselves as a better alternative to bitcoins.
Bitcoin has grabbed attention from all over the world which is why it's price has reached so high. It has been in the media and social network for a good amount of time which has made it more popular than it was before. Its volatility and increased price has made it successful over the years. It will surely reach to greater heights in the future. Even if it is stopped advertising there will be many people behind it who will still want it to buy because of its growing popularity. The scaling issues are the only disadvantages it is undergoing now which will be rectified soon.

The secret behind bitcoin success is its popularity among people and many countries accept it and people attracted to bitcoin because its make transaction very easy and fast and people earn money online easily. Its spreading can never be stop and it will soon use as a digital currency.

First of all, bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency of the world and it's almost 8 years now I think, so no doubt it will stand as the king of cryptocurrency.

Do you mean what if bitcoin get banned all over the world? Because that is the only way bitcoin can be stopped, or stop keep growing. I think it will be so impossible, but if it do occur, the most benefited are governments because they can now control people and every transactions. Without bitcoin, transactions are now visible. And talking about the disadvantage by doing so, all of us, users and bitcoiners will take the punishment. We cannot predict when will it happen if it is destined to occur, so if we still have funds inside our bitcoin wallet there's nothing we can do but to cry!
But all of that is so impossible!
because this year, there will be many intitusional investors who will enter the bitcoin market with a giant fund.
Spreading of bitcoin is very good strategy because you can be a hero to other person. You help them to earn by your way, aside from that we cannot stop the news of bitcoin because it is already well known all over the world. Many peole become successful because of btc. In my own idea the purpose of bitcoin in over many countries in the world is to help people who are left behind by their community and give hope to hopeless life.
Nobody can stop Bitcoin from spreading. Bitcoin can't be turned off, someone would have to prohibit Internet access. If Bitcoin disappeared then banks and governments would feel relieved. They wouldn't have to worry anymore about something that could replace current system which allows them to create new money without any consequences. Bitcoin succeeded because there are many people who respect their privacy and want to get rid of the banks who don't want their customers to be anonymous.
