Are you playing there with your classic nickname? You don't need to reveal it, a yes or no is enough.

I haven't played there since last week, but in my third tournament I already did ITM. The tournaments are still available, $1000 freerolls are actually rare these days in any Casino Cripto (even Fiat), my Freeroll stage passed a long time ago, but I find it fun to be able to give any of you a Badbeat Smiley

If you try one of those tournaments i wish you good luck.

Totally going to need this, planning to play again tonight

There are no skills involved in this freerolls, its all just luck though and I bet like 90% of the field totally got no clue of what they are doing. Especially with the blind structured to be on turbo mode, this freerolls really requires you to get a good hand once every 5 hands to get decent amount of chip otherwise you probably wont really make it through top 150

I just saw this, maybe I missed it, but it looks interesting to follow, it seems difficult to become a champion there because you have to play with thousands of people, where of course they will also last longer at the table, I think it's a matter of how to survive at the table by playing relaxed so that can advance to the next round, it's rare to find poker freerolls on crypto casino sites and even though they don't provide big prizes like this, it seems that Stake also provides this program for all its users.

I just looked at the link you provided and am still wondering whether this is only for a certain time or is it held every day, if it is held every day of course it would be very good to see active users as well as poker players, I might also try my skills there. I can still play poker and compete, I haven't played for a long time even though I often win playing poker at events like this freerolls, I hope Stake holds this for longer so that other users can actively play poker too, I want to increase the experience of other players too, Looks like I'll get a lot from this event.

You haven't missed it at all, the site still has freerolls all days, 4 tournaments each day, i will keep trying 3 of them each day trying to get in a nice place, but isn't easy when blinds goes high that fast, each 6 minutes it gets to a new level, in my past good tourney the blinds was 8k and 4k before i lose, but ist's about luck and play it smart.

If you try one of those tournaments i wish you good luck.

Wow, $1k freerolls is a serious amount of money and they're giving it out to players that will participate the poker tournament right? It's finally a thing with Stake, they've finally got a poker on their website and I'm excited to try it out once they've already finished with implementing the feature.
Yeah I'm a bit shocked seeing the title because usually what I see are lower than this but I see a pic above and realized that $1k is not going into 1 user only but it's the overall prize for the participants lol. I remember there are users here who always look forward in poker tourneys and Stake is among the casino they recommend to do it. Now that it's already there, this must be a dream come true to them.

The feature is already there, implemented. So what are you waiting for? But, you can take your time for now, if you are not ready yet because I'm sure this new feature here can still run for a very long time even though the prizes are huge since like you guys said, Stake is one hell of a huge casino.

As long as they don't fix essential things it will not be a success.
Also, these tournaments won't run forever, this is just a promo phase to first of all try the software under .com conditions. They have already tried it for quite a while on their .us domain and it's still funny the software looks this bad after such a long time.
These tournaments only foreshadow what's to come hopefully.
Players attending these free tournaments are TERRIBLE, and that's still an understatement. 90% have no clue what they are doing so it seems and hopefully soon there will be cash games with these exact same players.

It will be a gold rush situation once this starts.  Grin

Im assuming that out of those 2500 players, there might be some that sits out the entire game. Its freerolls so I kinda expect half of the field to be DONKey and will raise-all in most of the time, its going to be a hard field. Anyway so I just need to register 15 minutes before the game start right?

Going to try the next one, Im 'arallmuus' as well there so hit me up if we sit on the same table

As you say, lot of donk moves, I would say a big percent of playeras dont know how to play poker there, but they join to the tournament because it is free. But the good players are the ones who win the tournaments.

Yesterday I get in the money for first time, only got $1.5 as price but it was fun, I will keep trying the next week.

Missed it last night, tried it earlier today and yeah ended up not ITM but so far the software they use are basically basic poker software but yeah probably thats how Stake want it to be. Totally cant wait for them to launch regular tournaments, I think overall the fields are kinda soft but thats probably freerolls so Im really excited to play on a paid tournaments once they full roll the whole thing

I was looking at stake when i realized they just added poker to the site, it only has freerolls for now but i feel like it's a great step because the community really needs some good poker sites with the right support to avoid collusion and multi accounts.

To register on the freerolls you need to be there 15 min. before the tournament start, and if you don't take your seat 2 minutes after the game starts then you will be kicked from the tournament, so, good luck to all.

I can't wait to see cash tables on the site, for sure is one of the next steps.

It's nice to see a resurgence of crypto driven poker, as it was so long ago that we had sealswithclubs - effectively the only site that reached a critical mass where they had enough players online to compete with fiat currency versions of online poker. It really does need one of the top 3 biggest casino and sportbook sites to push this, in order the have the concentrated pre-existing player base that you'll be able to keep enough players on the table with a variety of different bankroll levels. It's surprising that it has taken so long, but I guess the infrastructure required would be huge and it brings with it a unique set of challenges. However stake is advertising in the mainstream a lot and most of these sites allow direct fiat currency deposits these days so it can draw in a wide enough audience too.

Trust me, in this tournament your chance as a "good player" maybe is below 1%. The structure doesn't allow any normal play since this is a hyper turbo format, after less than 1 hour 1 big blind is equal t the starting stack.
When I played this tournament the first time my best had in 40 minutes was 33. Can't win anything with that.
Players in this are so bad, some pay 1 bb (limp) almost every hand even though they just have 5-10 big blinds. This is push or fold, nothing else.
Also the time outs of some players are so annoying. It wastes so much time and they always get a new reconnection time back, it's hilarious.

On my 3rd try I got in the money and also won like 1.25$ or something like that. But if you aren't SUPER lucky in this one you have no chance. All luck, no skill involved in hyper turbos. topped playing these after 3 tries, it's not even fun, just boring.

Not true.

Mostly (POKER) are quite complicated, and at least they are add the game right now and good things is based their own software. I give you funfact, stake already deploy the game on (STAKE.US) in a few months ago.
Nice for them, I didn't know a lot of what they did and what they have been doing lately.

-snip-
We talk about these, the reason why we don't talk to much because the complication about the system or at least game deploy are quite hard. IMO, they need to bough the software from some provider and cannot find out suitable one. If (EVOLUTION) games have these, sure they are gonna to deploy just take a look on stake did. Required them to build the game by their own.
It could be one reason why it took them for so long before they've added one. Maybe it's been developed mainly for them so that it won't be developed the way that others have acquired it from the same provider.

Some of the US users are confused too because poker was on their platform from the past year, but for the rest of the world this is totally new.
Yeah, that is because they have a different domain from different users in other regions.

Well. This is something I would have expected to inevitably happen when comes to Stakes, there is a good reason it is one of the biggest casinos out there within the cryptocurrency ecosystem, so I knew it was going to be just matter of time before they offered poker as an option for their gamblers.
I have not checked it out yet, by the way, however, if I keep in mind the lawless experiences I have had with the rest of their original games, then we can expect a very good organized and minimalistically decorated tables for anyone who wishes to try their luck against other there.

Looking forward to the community getting engaged in this and also expecting Stake to courage this community to get into big tournaments in the future, once the volume of matches and plays ascends and meets their financial expectations. Very good news for all the poker lovers in the forum.  Tongue

I wondered if they will also keep some explicit probably fair system in place so those on the table can trust their about not being cheated off their money. Tho

I already played a couple of freerolls but is hard to get in the money when more than 2500 users are playing it. But i will keep trying, at least is free to try. And after asking to support, looks like any user can join for now, even new users, I'm sure that will change in the future, but now feel free to join.

This Video Poker mentioned in this thread should be referring to the one on Stake.com which is available for everyone who is not resident in the US.

I am thinking the OP should have indicated it in the topic to remove this confusion.

With the image i posted there shouldn't be any confusion, i mean, it's clear in that image that we are not talking about the video poker, and in the title i mention the freerolls.

This is different. Stake.us and not stake.com just launched it poker game this year. And it is only available to residents in the US.
You are not getting it right or probably it is more looking confusing for me. According to the OP, he is not from the US or not accessing the poker from Stake.us. You can know that from his second post which he posted this

The poker games were available before but only for the dot US site, but on the dot com is new, from what i know it wasn't there the past week.

The OP meant that the game is new on Staked.com.

I make more findings to see that Poker has been on Stage ake since last year. I am surprised that most of you people have just started to know about it this year.

They already have Video Poker under their Original Games and that did not ruffle my feathers at all. I would like to see P2P poker championships and also some kind of spectator side betting on those matches.

Poker can be a real money spinner, if you do it right... so they should not do some half ass attempt at doing this. The other Stake original games are getting a lot of action, because they are solid games.  Wink

This was my first thought about Stake and that they're just a staple here in the forum and then I've seen them have their own brand on the octagon and then I came to know for a fact that, whatever they have here, it's a small drop compared to how big they are as a gambling website.

Surprisingly, I thought that they'll never add that. Looking at the current state of the forum about poker, there has been a point of it when there have been no talks to it.
I don't know about you but it was just a matter of time before they added it.

This forum? You gotta be kidding

This forum is a niche compared to the overall gambling market, heck I doubt that atleast 50% of the people in this gambling sub section actually gamble and we are talking about Stake here. There are tons of their loyal players that will jump onto it even if Ed throw a bone
I was describing about the discussions about poker and not entirely stake. It's probably I did said something confusing about that.

But now, we're starting to see its glory back so they're probably seeing the opportunity to be a leader of this game.

Not at all, there are far more superior poker site and poker network out there sponsoring huge buy in ranging up to even $200k buy. Im not sure if Stake is going to join these existing poker network or not but we'll see
Maybe soon, they're already big and they don't have any problem about advertising anymore.
