Should I just post my address or post address and sign? surely posting the address for now is fine but when losing the account then I can sign the address then?

Here's my address in any case: 1JrCqVeTpTsSjisBfWNUUT35fhE9EV5mzi

Witnessed!

The address will be sufficient for now, but if you ever need to regain access into your account you will need to provide a signed message from the address you have provided.

I would not use keybase. I would suggest using GnuPG or GPGtools (if you prefer a GUI).

Imo using a website to store/access your PGP key is too risky. There are arguments to keep your PGP key completely offline although I am not sure how many people actually do this.

There are also iPhone apps that you can store your key in but if you are going to keep your key offline then it would obviously not be a good idea. If your phone is lost or stolen they you could be impersonated. I wouldn't use any non-iPhone app because of the lack of sand boxing and the possibility of your phone getting hacked.

Edit: there is no point to create your key off line if you are going to use it online.

Hey guys, I was finally able to get a pgp key for me.  Smiley Smiley

I have requested someone for a keybase.io but does one has to enter their private key there? If yes, I won't do it then. So here it is, if someone wants to send me private message in pm encrypted with it (for test purposes) pls do it. Thx

And do quote it pls.

Got it, I will just use my public key there for if someone wants to verify my signed message, they will be able to do it easily. Thx Smiley
