I thought about that, but it didn't make my short list of sub-forums to post this thread in since this thread might be off-topic for that section. It boiled down to Meta or the Reputation sections and I took a stab that Meta probably gets more eyeballs than Reputation

I think we shouldn't quote each other since soon the quotes would be stacked, and that would look really messy.
Maybe add a rule you must only quote one person's address? That person has to be before you, of course.
I'm not sure if there's another thread for this already, or if this belongs in a different section. So basically I thought it would be helpful to post up your Bitcoin address in this thread in the event that your account gets compromised later on down the road. You can simply make a new alt account, sign the address that your original account posted here, and have irrefutable proof that you're the actual owner. It's not 100% guaranteed that you'll get your account back, but it's a pretty good start. Of course, if your account is compromised, the hacker could just come back to this thread and edit/delete whatever address you post here, so that's why I'm asking people to quote the address posted by the preceding user in this thread.
