SteveStake, I can only say that you should hire a professional manager to run this signature campaign, because it is quite clearly visible that you made some things completely wrong. The opportunity given to the participants to post hundreds of post on a weekly basis is not a good decision, but the campaign obviously aims to gain more visibility not taking into account too much about the quality of posts.

Take for example ChipMixer signature campaign, the maximum number of posts per week is set to 50 (post that can be pay), and if you check ChipMixer spreadsheet you can see that very few participants succeed in reaching this number of post.

Although not all users will abuse your rules, some of them post 150 to even 200 post per week, and I warn you of methods which are used to increase the number of posts, so far you did not do nothing.

Can you explain why you have two signature campaigns for stake.com at the same time?

Lmao. Who are you? Do you even know how respected Darkstar is in this forum? Darkstar basically tried to help you understand the meaning of spam in a basic way and you want him to elaborate? Really?

Nothing bad about that. There's no easy way to make a definition of spam that covers everything, and it can be highly subjective so I don't have an answer. He did cut out this part though:

Spam is "irrelevant or inappropriate messages sent on the Internet to a large number of recipients". Basically any post that doesn't contribute to the thread.

The manager should not be accepting spammers in the first place. I don't have time to do their job for them for free (busy enough with ChipMixer as it is), and even if I wanted to do their job, there's no spreadsheet with a list of participants.
You sound like too much biased into the past. Please remember this forum got enough active moderators to catch and punish spammers as per mentioned here.

You are always welcome to check post history of anyone from this forum and to report accordingly. When you got all the opportunity to fight against the spam, it is leading to think "something different" when you are TOO MUCH BOTHERED about spreadsheet. In short, you want to fight against spammers just after this campaign ?

Forget the past, wake up for present and catch the spammers.

But, before that explain what is spam and guide in more elaborated way. Because, I guess this is not enough nor appropriate to understand to bring changes to writing contents.

I advise you to do your own research by checking several threads on this forum regarding what spam actually means instead of asking people to explain it to you.

Thanks everyone for taking an interest in the campaign and giving your input on the thread and through pm. I wasn't expecting this campaign to become so massive in just a few days so some changes may be in order to account for its popularity. I will be making a few edits to the campaign based on input from the community such as lowering the amount of posts for the gambling section bonus and raising the character count per post. Edits will be made after the first payout because I don't believe it's fair to suddenly go back on an offer people have already accepted and started working on. I would also like to point out the average gained post count for all people in this campaign is between 9 and 10 after 3 days and this is including the posts of people who have already been kicked from the campaign.

I like what you are trying to do here op, but it will be tough checking whether every poster has made 100-200 constructive posts every week which is why you need to hire an assistant or assistants in order to check whether your participants are following the rules properly without shitting all over the forum with spammy posts.

Is it massive because of it's popularity, or is it massive because you're willing to accept spammers?

Glad to hear you're making changes though, hopefully it's better run after the first payout.

You sound like too much biased into the past. Please remember this forum got enough active moderators to catch and punish spammers as per mentioned here.

Unfortunately that post is just an empty threat:

I think enforcing Signature Campaign Guidelines will do the forum more good.
Absolutely, 100% agree.

This should have been done long ago and it looked like some progress was being made when I finally got theymos to agree to the Guidelines, but then nothing happened and all requests for blacklists were ignored. If theymos doesn't have time to issue sig blacklists then I think he should probably code an interface instead that would allow Globals to be able to do so (or a special team of sig campaign mods or whatever).

I think enforcing Signature Campaign Guidelines will do the forum more good.

Has there ever been any enforcement with this stuff? Take this, for example:

Quote
If you are running a campaign and it becomes blatantly obvious to Staff that you are doing little to nothing to stop spam on your campaign you will be issued a PM warning by a Global Moderator that you need to make immediate improvements to curb low-quality posts. You will have 7 days to remove low-quality posters and respond to the message detailing what you are going to do to make changes to your campaign to reduce the amount of spam. If improvements are not noticeable within 21 days of that and Staff do not believe you are doing enough to prevent low quality posts your signatures will be blacklisted from the forum by an Admin and you will no longer be permitted to advertise here in such a way.

No. I gave a few warnings out initially but most just ignored it completely and when I requested certain campaigns signatures to be blacklisted nothing happened. It really won't work without theymos' input otherwise they're just hollow threats and with bans they can just run campaigns off site. If it became public knowledge that we don't tolerate lazy campaigns most will just clean their acts up in the first place so warnings, bans and blacklists will probably have to be issued less and less as time goes on.

It's not my responsibility to do the jobs of other managers. I care about this campaign specifically because it's putting spammers into sections I actually browse (Gambling). There's way too many Altcoin bounty spammers for any individual to deal with, and managers for those don't care at all. I'm hoping that SteveStake actually *somewhat* cares.

Moreover, I came to know this manager is ready to remove and denying payments for OBVIOUS SPAMMERS. Hence, you are always welcome to report spammers here.

But, before that please ELABORATELY EXPLAIN WHAT IS SPAM like what kind of way they can write and what are should be avoided. Help them to groom and establish. Just complaining alone will not help anyone Smiley.

I mean like this I have justification for almost all the examples you have included here. It is a free world and everyone has basic right to state their opinion. You cannot mark them spam when they are speaking within subject and NOT repeating something which is already stated by someone else.

I'd like to hear that justification for each post if you don't mind? The Gambling board has become even more unusable with all the Stake spammers, and if you browsed the board, you'd probably get annoyed too. They have the right to state their opinion, just like how I have the right to state my opinion that their posts are spam and Stake should not be paying them for making those posts.

Just returning all the funds alone will retain confidence ? Because, I will never touch a services which had such a history of abandoning.

Fair enough. Though it's hardly a "history", and it wasn't their fault they had to shut down.

No mention of payment process in the OP. How will campaigners be paid off? Will the payment be sent directly to their bitcoin address or it will be added to their stake wallet balance?
They asked for a stake account name so they can pay directly to that stake wallet address/account.
I guess, it requires explicit mention about how the payment will be processed. Assumption creates unnecessary confusion.
