Well the card you have with the QUADS.

You're in a situation that cannot fold, we call that shit happens! Unless you play against a higher Full-House. However, we doubt player like us (a fish) will folded any Full House cards ~XD we just gonna raise a bet or all in.

I call them AA or AK curse, HAHAHA.

Could someone tell me here (or in PM) what's the best reason for a new player to join Stake? Are there bonuses/giveaways not found anywhere else? I bet small

Is anyone still playing free-roll tournament poker?

I'm still playing this one and even still cannot reach the top 10. In a day just joined at least 1 tournament from 4 free roll tournaments, the result was not quite bad at all because they consistently eliminated around 100-500 positions. Still learn more about poker, mostly my end place more than a thousand is because (of good pairs) but the other player who called my all-in or bet got lucky.

It's not bad for a player who just playing after Stake releases these on their site ~LOL.

I'm still playing this one and just like you 1 tournament of 4 available, I can't take part in all tournaments because of real busyness and yeah my tournament results haven't been good lately as someone who already understands the game, I lack concentration and rush when I get a good pair because I don't have much time to play so I think to win as many chips as possible in a short time, you know it's not easy, it takes extra luck even with pair AA it doesn't guarantee we will win and I have proven it twice. I can play more relaxed on Saturday/Sunday but you know there will be more competitors there, yeah basically my chances of winning are getting smaller. Previously I saw someone from this forum made it to the top 2 or 3 and then we wait to see who manages to take first place.

^^ It happens to everyone, like it happened to me. You fold and the card you were waiting for comes out.

But I think nothing is worse than what happened to me in stake.com poker game. I had a fullhouse (AA my cards) and the dealer had A2QQ2 while my opponent had 22. Look how unlucky I am—losing with fullhouse ace to 2 quads! lol Stake poker is being brutal game to me. Imagine I think I joined this 1K usdt freeroll more than 50x since it started and I only manage to win more or less 5USD.

Today's result ended with place 19th (6.5$ Prize).

Getting better every day and week and learning a few things about poker about controlling emotion, trying to fold and overview the situation based on the all-card outcome, trying to make a little bit of raise bet (not just all in), and others. I still really have a hard situation while the player is only 50 under left, perhaps any advice from other poker players? because my bet is always because the (BB) is too high.

Like in these results, I ended with 19th is because losing one single bet due got (BB) turn with around 150-200K Chips from a Total of 750k. Ended me with 60K Chips Left, I was lucky enough to win and get around 200K+ chips. Too bad the second all-in is not lucky enough.
I have very mixed results, but most of the time i drop out pretty early with an aggressive style on good hands. I would imagine i would get better results if i had time to analyze how everyone is playing, but that's way too intense and draining to me. I might recognize frustration and rage bets from time to time, but i am saving all the energy and analyzing to the end. My goal is to make it seem like i suck at poker.

When i won 3rd prize i folded many good hands during preflop and flop, because number of of all-ins were just too much, so i wanted to wait. But i also somehow managed to play some right ones knowing very well that even though i might lose. When lots of people are throwing in all-ins, and turn gives small cards, but they are supporting my flush, i will not raise my bet, but hope that others do and call them. Because no one will follow an all-in if the reason for it is obvious. Unless they really have a best possible hand

I have a plant to join in a tournament, still using the free tournaments to learn my skills.

To be honest, I don't have any experience with Poker. That's why, want to practice more and more using the free tournament but just not quite really join tournaments really often. I think only 1 Free Roll Tournament/Day from a total of 4 Free Roll Tournaments.

Agree, most under 5 mins all the players are usually all in for hoping to get a good bankroll. I also do these, but just with strong cards only (Pairs).

Same ~xd in first weeks I know Poker Stake is being release joined around 3x tournament/days and now just 1x tournament/days and choosing the time 14:00 in my local time zone.

Is anyone still playing free-roll tournament poker?
I found it worthless to participate in Stake freeroll tournaments on a regular basis. I have joined in 10-12 round until now and won the prize from one round only. Each round takes around 2 hours to finish. You need to survive for at least one hour to be in the reward distribution rank list. Then you will receive a small amount from the prize pool if you can't be in the top 20 ranks.

Yep, a lot of people join in Stake poker tournaments without having knowledge about the game. I have seen many users to do all-in without having good cards a lot of times.

My last participation was on last Sunday and it was my 5th participation so far or my 3rd participation in last 30 days.
I do not play much as well on Stake since last month, proven by my weekly bonus and monthly bonus which is getting smaller and smaller LOL.
In general, I do not gamble at other places as well because I have a lot of works to do in real life as well as I have many things to prioritize so I prefer to spend my gambling funds for more important things.
Once I have more free time and free money, I'll be back and try to join the buy-in poker tournament as I think it will be more challenging than the freeroll.

Congrats, @o48o! The 3rd place in a tournament with 3,000+ entries is amazing!

Thanks, but i feel i owe lot of my third place to that last table, because i am not sure why, but most in the table seemed to be eager to immediately put all in. I would have been completely happy with 10th place with $10, but i thought i might wait some hands out while other players were dropping. I had some money left, so i had some time to wait for the good hand, and other players were betting really aggressively. So after few hands, there were only few left and i ran out of money, and i went with last hand as a hail mary and lost.

Something like this happened to me too several times when I was in the final table. There are moments when the less you play the better. Other players eliminated quickly and you go up. I can relate to what you are talking about totally.

And i haven't been that lucky since. But i wouldn't do free tournaments just for money every day, as tournaments are long and most of the time even if you play well, you are not getting into that last table. And games are less interesting when people with basically nothing to lose play, so they do all-ins a LOT. Not that i am complaining with free $80, but poker tournaments take lot of time and need lot of attention.

Recently I played in one of those, with $7.50 buy-in, and I managed to climb up to the 3rd place once

But later was kicked off. But I eliminated one player and got $2 for that. So, not that bad. Tried playing other games too, but without much success.

What I like about these poker games on Stake is that it looks like they've managed to engage many really good poker players in their tournaments. It's a pleasure to play with them at the same table. I will surely be playing more poker on Stake.

Does that also include the diamond level? if they are old players then they are free to deposit money or withdraw any amount of money if the system is like that, right?
A user need to wager at least $25 million to reach the Diamond VIP rank. Which is a very big amount. It will take ages for a medium budget gambler (whose bankroll and max withdrawal remains below $10k) to wager that amount. A diamond level user will obviously have deposits and withdrawals above $10k. It is common for a licensed casino to apply the KYC verification rules to those users who have such deposits and withdrawal activity.
Well, you will have to spend almost $250 000 of your own money to achieve a $25 000 000 wager requirement ($10 for every $1000 wagered) ... it is obviously a bit less, because you get rakeback and bonuses too.

In the end, it will not be worth it to wager that much, just to "unlock" that.
I do not think that you need to "spend" anything, because there isn't really a guarantee that you are going to end up with a result like that just because it would be the average. You could even make a profit if you are lucky and I would hope that someone who is a diamond level one would also get some benefits as well, which would drop that.

Plus, we have a lot of different games with a lot of different results, and house edges as well. It just means that we are going to end up with something that will take a while, and I believe that we are going to see the result being a little bit quicker. Just imagine this as something that will take time, and I believe that we are going to be quite the fun situation without a doubt if we get a good return.

I dont know about higher level but I do still think that not all of them are verified till now. KYC can be asked anytime if Stake think that need to do it because of a reason to any account no matter what is the level of the account. Coming to cheat, I do believe Stake is well experienced enough and they know how to avoid such a thing. To be frank I dont really care about the others, whether they are verifed or not but I care about my own account. So far I have no issue in deposit and withdrawal although I'm a non verified user, that's the most important thing for me.

I always felt a little bit curious on how Stake managed users who joined the casino before KYC was heavily enforced and required by regulators within this sector. My guess was they massively asked for documents to all members regardless of their level and the time they have had their account, but I guess I was wrong and they still in someway managed to get regulators happy by just asking for verification to new members, leaving alone those who had reached a high level before the introduction of tighter regulation...
Interesting to know the OGs of Stake still can basically deposit and withdraw without having to summit their verification data at all.

Is this not dangerous? considering that someone who cheats using an account that has a high VIP level does things that are actually avoided from having mandatory KYC, but there is a good point because old users have a specialization without having to do KYC, if new users are required KYC and old players are exempt from mandatory KYC and then they can play, withdraw and deposit without having to provide their data.
